The consultant (not sure what the correct term is) pitched their annual fee hormone replacement pellets so hard, before I was even able/allowed to make an appointment with the actual doctor or other medical professional, that I felt uncomfortable. While going over my brief "medical history" form, she made comments on my prescribed medications such as "wow they still have you taking that?" I am not opposed to trying the functional medicine approach, or I wouldn't have attempted my appointment, but this place just seemed so profit-hungry that my gut instinct was a big solid NO WAY. My Horrible Experience with Age Rejuvenation Clinic I want to share the terrible experience I had with Age Rejuvenation at their North Tampa location: 1940 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544. In July 2024, I sought help from this clinic for menopause symptoms. On the same day, without conducting any tests, they prescribed me hormone pills and told me to stop taking the birth control pills that my gynecologist had recommended to prevent the growth of an ovarian cyst. They claimed the hormone pills would be more effective and said they would provide a hormone pellet therapy that would help me. The cost of this therapy was $2,650, which I couldn't afford, so I agreed to monthly financing. For three months, the clinic failed to provide the hormone pellet therapy due to abnormal lab results. However, they continued prescribing me hormone pills, which I paid for out of pocket. In October, my ovarian cyst ruptured, and I required emergency surgery. During this procedure, the cyst, my ovary, and my left fallopian tube were removed. The hospital doctor informed me that I should not have stopped taking my birth control pills and immediately prohibited me from continuing the hormone therapy prescribed by Age Rejuvenation. When I contacted the clinic, they assured me that they would refund my money. However, they recalculated my balance, increased the loan amount to $2,800, refunded only $1,400, and left me with an outstanding balance of $498.89 that I am now obligated to pay. I am outraged that I have to pay for treatment I never received. Despite paying $157.86 every month for four months in good faith, this clinic not only failed to deliver the promised treatment but also contributed to the loss of my ovary and fallopian tube due to their poor recommendations. Age Rejuvenation only seems to care about you while you are paying, but when something goes wrong, they refuse to take accountability. Now I am left without an ovary and fallopian tube, and with a debt to this clinic. I hope my story serves as a warning to other women: do not trust this clinic with your health. Only trust proven specialists who genuinely care about your well-being. I am deeply upset and will be reaching out to support organizations for assistance in resolving this situation. I prepaid $1100 for one of their programs on September 25, 2021. Because of my medical history, their nurse practicioner said i needed clearance from my doctor before i could continue. My doctor denied clearance, which i dropped off on the same day. I was told that I had to wait until the 1st week of December to get a refund and it would be in the amount of $778. I had one telephone meeting with a dietician, one injection, one meeting with their nurse practicioner, and a weeklong cleanse. I believe the timing and amount of the refund is inadequate. This is a year's later update to my previous review. This practice DOES NOT understand how to manage perimenopause therapy for women and here is why: This is after going for a year and wasting thousands of dollars: 1. Due to using the mobile until for lab draws, the bus came at totally different times of my cycle which does not give a baseline reading on estradiol levels. Pellets were given based on these inconsistent timing of blood draws, 2. I was tested for COVID lab draw without my consent 3. The medication was consistent late or forgotten to refill and had to call multiple times to the office to remind. 4. I was not given the correct amount of estradiol pellets based on my symptoms AND lab values. (Too low). To control perimenopausal symptoms, the levels should be approx 60 pg/ml, mine was never raised past 51 pg/ml. 5. Given too much testosterone and had consistently high levels with no benefit. Steer clear. I will be seeking legal counsel against this for a year of unnecessary pain and suffering. read more

Only been 3 times all 3 had issues. First time they gave more then what I asked for. I was very clear I only wanted 20 units that's what I've always had in the past they gave me 30 and expected me to pay for that! Second time I came they suggested they give me something other than Botox. I told them I did not want anything else I wanted what I have had before and what I know, which is Botox. When I signed up the third time they looked in the chart and told me what I received the previous time was the other product they suggested and NOT the Botox. Third appointment I told them I wanted 20 units of Botox that is what I have always have! I was very clear. When I got to the register they try to charge me for 24 and told me that's what I received.
