I was referred to this company and a technician came out and spent 2 1/2 hours supposedly diagnosing the issue. I wish I would've known that this company previously scammed my neighbors at the Ogden in downtown Las Vegas. They tried to quote me $2500 to replace a part selling online for $70. Then they tried to convince me to buy a new unit which is a 2 1/2 ton water source heat pump.To be fair, I told them ) because it is a very old unit) . I would be willing to do something for a fair price. They quoted me 14 grand for a unit that cost $2700 to other vendors!!! I ended up speaking to the owner or manager. His name is Raul, he is a very clever talker and has an excuse for everything of the exorbitant price lying about their factual prices. He was chastising me on our phone call like go ahead and buy the unit online and we'll still charge you the same to install it. I ended up talking him down to 12 grand because of my dire situation and I honestly could not even afford that. I tried calling other companies, but nobody worked on high rises. They are trying to bully people into buying new units because they know they have no other choice. Their incompetent technician came to my property and diagnosed it for 2 1/2 hours and said that the problem was the reverse pump. They also told me that the new unit would not arrive until maybe another month so I had to explain to my tenant that I was unable to fix it for a while, And I had to terminate our lease and repay her $3300 !!!!They purposely didn't fix my unit to sell me a brand new unit!!!!And I had to move my Tenant out and lose $3300 in rent money because of their lies or incompetences. Fortunately, I was able to get a second opinion from another company . The guy was at my house for literally 2 mins and already had diagnosed a problem because the unit actually tells you what's wrong. There was nothing wrong with the pump whatsoever It was actually the control panel. The guy had my AC up and running in literally two minutes and charged me $75. The gentleman from the other company also told me that this specific unit all in he would charge $6275. Almost 8 grand less than URBN!!! The gentleman from the other company told me this was an easy diagnosis and the circuit board relay was bad that sends power to the reversing valve solenoid. I bypassed two contactor for cooling circuit and the board needs to be replaced in a few months $250. Turns out this company has been screwing over my neighbors as well telling them that their unit is unfixable just so they will buy new units or pay exorbitant prices to replace a part. I am not the kind of person to review companies unless they did such a good job I feel it is deserving of a review or if they did a terrible job. Not only was this job so bad , it was sinister!!They are taking advantage of people in a inflationary environment, and they know exactly what they are doing. Beware, they are predatorse!!!!

We were still under warranty, which expires August 11, 2024 This is an accurate account of our experience. To be clear, it is a positive review and I highly recommend these guys but let me get into it. The upstairs unit went out, no fan, hot air blowing; obviously I am highly concerned. Their tech Adrian went out and spent 3 hours out there ; he must have checked every single part and gave me a diagnosis that was unsettling including a $600 refrigerant refill which I don't have; I'm paycheck to paycheck; Adrian gave me a list of things that may have had to be replaced but he would consult with Luis, his manager and move forward from there. We were camping downstairs on a bed in the living room while they worked with the manufacturer since we were still under warranty, which expires August 11, 2024. Luis worked with the manufacturer and determined there was a way to equalize the pressures so the unit would run without extra cost. Adrian came out and fixed, then rechecked the unit 1 week later. Done. Fixed. Thank God. So 3 things that make me want to recommend these guys. 1. First the thorough check through and an honest evaluation. He could have said this is easy, reset the pressure sensor and left barely looking at it only to have it break down again in a week. I had a unit for 20 years before this and let me tell you there are lot of people who do this, knock the problem down the line and I'd have to call them back. Instead he gave me worse case scenario and checked with his manager. 2. Julio, was able to determine the best way to fix the unit without charging the $600. 3. Julio said that if the diagnosis that Adrian gave does end up being needed they would honor the warranty beyond it's expiration next month. So that gives me piece of mind. I feel these guys seem really honest and hard working, a far cry from the other AC working in Vegas.

I eventually went onto their website and filled out the contact form. Finally! Someone reached out to me. My husband scheduled a service call to come put our system back together. They left it taken apart, expecting to come back in a couple of days. They said they couldn't do it on the weekend as it would be twice as expensive. Why would we have to pay to have our system be put back in its original state? So we had to schedule during the week and miss a work day. The tech never showed up. My husband was beyond mad. No communication once again. He finally reached the same girl that scheduled the appointment and she made up some excuse about why he couldn't make it. Why no one called and let us know, just showed us again, this company had no communication skills. Now we had to take another day off work to do it all over again. This time the tech came. He explained they had a new dispatch and things got messed up. I get it. I really do. But this was the end of a long run of over a month to get one small thing done to our system. I can't imagine the customer support I would have received (or probably not received) after getting the new system they were suppose to quote us on. So labor which was 20 min, transportation, and equipment up-keep for John, the service person who came, was $171. I feel that's somewhat unreasonable. Just fair warning for the next customer. The service request was for you to come out and see why both units are running louder than usual. Juan found nothing wrong that would contribute to the louder vent noise but did discover that something called a capacitor in the attack was low, so he replaced them. The A/C still cools, but the blower now no longer shuts off and has been running since Juan left. This Phillip person, told us he's been doing this for 45 years and he knows that's our units have always done this and we're trying to get you to perform a service that was not reported and we would need to open two more service requests to fix what wasn't wrong before. Phillip would not listen to me and would continually talk over me. This was never an issue before. This is something your company caused. We do not want new A/C units, and again, our units are both still running. I will call the warranty company, but will also report your company and whatever else I need to do to get this resolved. Thankfully they were able to send someone to take a look on the same day. I was prepared to get a high quote but thankfully they were able to provide me a list of options to repair my system.
