Without any hesitation we recommend this company. We started a bathroom renovation and ran into an issue that dealt with AC pipes. We called a company that was suggested to us and was told they couldn't be here for a week or 2. Not sure how my husband found Horizon Air, but after explaining the situation to Greg he arranged to come out the next day. Greg showed upped right on time and figured out how to fix our problem. While he was at it he found another problem and without hesitation fixed that problem. We started out with what was going to be an easy fix to him being at the house a couple of hours fixing everything. Afterwards he talked to us about different options on how to proceed with our older AC unit. He gave us some suggestions, options (websites/brands) to look into and gave us his opinion. In June Greg the owner comes out and inspects my ac unit and furnace and charges me app 300 to take a look at the outdoor unit and attic furnace. Then I pay him 920 to patch a poorly Installed coil. That install was done by another person so not Greg's fault. So now it's September and the patch work failed. I sent numerous emails and texts to Greg who just simply ghosted me. Never a response to emails or texts, I was waiting for an estimate from him and no matter how many times I asked he could never get it together and send it. I ended up going with a trane and got a good deal. Very with it when you first meet him but then just becomes a total flake. Oh well read more

He came over and thoroughly analyzed the problem, which was a bad 13 year old compressor. He explained all of our options in detail, explaining the pros and cons and what each would cost. We ended up replacing the inside and outside (message me if you want to know details). He worked diligenlty and had the job completed within the time frame he promised and at his quoted price. Returned home from a trip only to find out A/C blowing warm air. Not good! Called Greg Saturday around 4pm and he came out . Found the issue right away and gave us a few options. Came back Monday (Sunday was Easter and he was willing to come out in the morning , wasn't hot outside so not necessary). Monday fixed the compressor and replaced fan blade . Don't stop at 1 person when you need someone to check your AC. The 1st one came and check and said you need a whole new system and it would cost $4,000, I said ok. We started having trouble with our AC system this summer. We had one company come out and tell us our entire system needed to be replaced even though it is not very old. We got a second opinion that the issue was with a blower motor on our condenser. We had them replace it but a few weeks later the AC wasn't working at all. After calling around all Friday afternoon trying to get someone to come out a friend referred us to Horizon Air. Greg came out at 6:00 pm on a Friday night, figured out the problem and had our system back up and running within a few hours. I only wish that we had called him first as the other repairs probably either weren't needed or should have been covered by warranty. My parent a/c went out. Greg went out to service and clean the unit. I know the unit is old but had a close friend go back out and double check what was done and it did not appear much of the cleaning was done. I just moved to the area and started a yearly service agreement with a large reputable HVAC company. When my exterior unit started making noises, that company recommend replacing the entire system for $9,998. I paid for a 2nd opinion. Same recommendation and cost but it still didn't feel right. Both felt like pushy sales pitches! Thankfully, I called Horizon Air for a 3rd opinion! The assessment was that there are many years left on the compressor so it would be premature to replace the entire system. Horizon Air replaced a component and fixed wear and tear issues. My AC is now running quietly and efficiently. The NV Energy report, which shows usage every 15 minutes, even shows a drop in my electric usage since Horizon worked on the AC!
