I tried to post this review on Google, and to respond directly to Bob's before posting a review but…read morethey don't have an easy way to give them feedback. They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

We also lost our furniture due to last home making my whole family sick from mold in the HVAc due to leaks. I know the APCOX pricing wholesale, the model I looked at is approx $ 900 dollars. I know the company needs to mark up to install and make a living but the quote I got was way beyond the normal mark up and upselling. The tech quoted that me I needed a duct clean on a 2 year old home, and put a quote for an April Aire that I did not ask for nor discuss into the quote in addition to the APCO X. The quote was an eye popping $11,000 dollars! Not only is this insulting to my intelligence but when I called the company they didn't care.

She asked me all the right questions and explained that they would be able to help me today. She was very personable and professional, and she made me feel like my situation and I really mattered. I am a senior citizen, and I find that people don't always get that kind of treatment nowadays. Nick, the technician, showed up at my house less than 3 1/2 hours later. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. After running some diagnostics, he opened up the unit inside my home and then the outside unit as well. He explained to me each step of the way what needed to be done to repair my AC. I was amazed at how he had completed it all and had something like 50° air coming out of all of my floor vents in a little more than an hours time. Caroline and Nick are both assets to Mr. Cool's business, and I can honestly say they were my angels for the day as well. The cost was very reasonable, and definitely less than what I thought it might have been. Mr. Cool's has become my "go to" if/when I have any other trouble with my AC or heating. As a result, the system was not performing properly. There was a leak in refrigerant, was short cycling and wound internally shut off, and was not configured properly for zoned system. The existing system was installed when we purchased this house new in 2018 but was contractor grade. Ryan provided a couple of solutions but decided to replace. Very good price for a better quality system. The install techs, Roger and Dom, completed the install today. Very professional and went extra to be sure zone system was functioning properly. Definitely made the right choice.

They came out during regular business hours the next day and although it took Matt a few hours to diagnose the problem, I appreciated the thoroughness. He fixed the problem, a burned out contactor. The part was covered under the factory warranty. It took him approximately 40 min to replace the part. After the service was complete, the labor charge was $250/hour X 2 hours of labor. After some negotiation, they reduced it to one hour, however, from my research the usual and customary labor fee in Las Vegas is $75-150/hour. I was going to sign up for their biannual plan for cleaning and maintenance of HVAC but , heaven forbid they find something wrong, I can't afford the labor that would go along with the repair! I feel that while Alpha Air is a good company, their labor fees are extraordinarily high. I hope to find a more reasonable company for future use.

I've received free tune-ups & quotes from a couple other businesses, but I've been seeing Bumble Breeze at neighbors' homes & was intrigued. I've been meaning to contact them for a 3rd perspective so the raffle win happened to be perfect timing. Jamal came out to complete the complimentary tune-up & the experience was superb! He took photos of everything he serviced, offered to have me tag along so I can understand the processes he was completing & thoroughly answered any/every question I had. His findings were similar to the other two companies I received two quotes from... a new a/c system is need (oy...). The difference was, he was very thorough in explaining why he felt the replacement was needed & showed concrete facts of why. Even emailed me a copy of his photos/videos and notes so I could show my husband when he got home. Jamal completed his professional service, made sure all my questions were answered and scheduled for me to talk to a manager abut options and pricing. I was hesitant to move forward, but the replacement was inevitable. I could have rode it out until the unit was on its last string, but this is Vegas. I wanted to be preventative. Plus, 3 neighbors' units crapped out within the month. I didn't want to be the 4th in the height of a hot summer. Queue in Larry. He was beyond professional. Personable even. I was ready for the upselling and pushiness, but the experience never came. He went over Jamal's findings with me once more. Explained his recommendations for new units & even suggested an extra vent install for better performance. The kicker? He didn't deviate from his initial guesstimated price as he continued to include various extras that would help us put our best foot forward. Who does that? Bumble Breeze apparently lol. After everything was said & done, I told him I wanted to talk it over with my husband & make sure we can afford the financing. No pressure or pushiness on his end. We even agreed on a date of no contact if he never heard from me to ease the indecisiveness. He followed up with me & offered an additional incentive where I couldn't say no. BumbleBreeze with the install, maintenance/extended warranties & extra razzle dazzle of free dryer vent cleaning and sanitization ended up being almost $10k cheaper than my other two quotes!! No brainer. We came up with a comfortable number, finance plan/budget and the appt for install happened in no time. Jesus & Curtis came in and completed the install. Just like Jamal and Larry, both gentlemen were courteous, professional & friendly. They were mindful of my home and their mess during the whole process. They kept me in the loop as the process went on too. They gave me a tour of the finished product & explained filters and my new thermostat. Curtis made sure any of my questions were answered and explained how beneficial the new unit will be overall before they left. They explained a tech will be in contact complete the process with a duct sanitization and cleaning as well as the promised free dryer vent cleaning. Devin came a couple days later to finish the job. Just like all the rest, he was professional, courteous and friendly. He completed the vent cleaning & sanitization process. He took before & after photos/videos that I got emailed a copy of for my records. He made sure the team prior was thorough with the initial tune-up, inspection and install. He even took a photo of the filter recommendation sticker on the unit while he was in the attic to make sure I had all the info I needed. He explained the duct maintenance schedule and went on his way. As a home owner, dreaded big purchases like a new a/c unit in Vegas is traumatizing sometimes. However, Bumble Breeze made this experience as positive as it could be. I see the reviews and posts about post-install trauma and maintenance. I'll definitely update my review if I experience anything negatory like that. However, from this current experience, I'm confident with my experience moving forward. Thanks so much!!

A preliminary evaluation of the site requirements should have been carried out at the beginning of the process. This would have avoided unnecessary delays and wasted time for all parties involved. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this provider for commercial HVAC assessments requiring planning, coordination, and technical qualification.

Ultimately we settled on PRO ZONE to provide the needed units . Our decision was based upon the circulating reviews online as well as the in home consultation / price estimate. Vardan was the consultant who walked us through the process , patiently answering our queries while giving us the pros and cons as well as pricing for Pro zone's product lines .We felt comfortable enough with the back and forth to proceed with the purchase and installation of 2 higher end A.C. units . The turnaround time , installation , setup was seamless and efficient with minimal disruption to our daily routines ; moreover , the contractors were considerate enough to maintain cleanliness throughout the installation .All things considered , I can highly recommend PRO ZONE for your HVAC needs without reservations. WOW. ProZone did not disappoint. Our AC was out for a week and we were told by other companies that it would take 2 weeks to get a blower wheel. Not one of them showed us images of our unit, so It was based on words. After research, we decided to give ProZone a call. Ashley was very helpful and actually cared. Colton came out the next day, diagnosed everything, showed us images and explained the next steps. Our unit had rusted over coils, the board was bubbling, and Colton even said there were some things done on the unit that he didn't even feel comfortable touching from the last few services done through other companies. We ended up needing a whole new unit, badly. Sitting in 100+ degree weather was horrible and they wanted to help us get AC quick for our well being. Woke up in the middle of the night and it was freezing, tried playing with my thermostat to see what is going on and turns out my unit had failed. I stayed up all night doing research trying to see if I can fix it myself and turns out I was out of luck. After reading reviews all around and asking friends and family I finally decided to call a couple companies out to see what is going on. 2 companies came out to asses the problem and one of them was Pro Zone, not only were they right on time they were very professional. They quickly explained everything to me, beat the other companies price and scheduled a time to come out and replace my unit. To top it all of they cleaned up after themselves in a way that I have not seen any other company do. Called ProZone due to an upstairs AC compressor issue. ProZone's Alex Valencia visited my home and quickly confirmed issue and offered a few options. After a deep dive into the age of the unit he recommended a full HVAC system replacement. Due to the age of both units (original install Sept 2005) we decided to replace both 4 ton units. Best decision we could have made. The team came out and did the turn key swap out of both systems in ONE DAY !! Very professional install. We very highly recommend this company. I was very impressed with this company! My air went out on Saturday and I waited to call until Monday morning. They quickly set up a time frame of between 3 and 6. I received a text message telling me David was on his way. He arrived at 3. He was very informative about what was happening and explained everything to me, even showing me the numbers the unit was putting out. He had my air blowing cold in 30 min. He told me I will need to replace the fan motor down the road but it was ok for now. I was concerned that they would try to rip me off, but that is not the case with this company!! After I called, the technician, Colton, arrived at my home within two hours. Colton was very considerate, even wearing shoe covers before entering the house. He conducted a thorough inspection, quickly identified the problem, and replaced the capacitor for me. Contacted this company for a "burning smell" coming from our A/C vent. Ashley was able to get Alex scheduled the very next morning! Ashley called in advance to make sure we would be available for the technician to arrive. Alex was able to tell us what the problem was right away and show us the issue with the replacement part. It turns out our fire ignitor was going out, as we have not replaced the A/C unit since the home was bought. We were incredibly grateful to have the same technician with the same high spirit return to finish the job. Prozone responded quickly to our heating failure. Technician David was efficient, friendly, and honest. He conducted a full test, correctly diagnosed the fault, and recommended a small additional repair. All recommendations were accompanied by test results and explanation. Repairs were successfully carried out in reasonable time. Communication with the office staff and technician was friendly, courteous, and excellent throughout; we always knew what was happening and when. I had them install a new 4 ton ac unit at my home. The crew and Vardan arrived ON TIME, did the job in less than alotted time and cleaned up, leaving the property impeccable. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Our AC failed last night at 5:30 pm. It was 89 degrees inside an hour later. We had just put in a new York HVAC system & ductwork at the end of May. I called Prozone Air Conditioning and was offered a portable AC and a repair person the next day. I mentioned that the compressor fan wasn't working & they said "If it's alright, we can send someone out at 8:30 tonight. Juan arrived & fixed the problem in 5 minutes. We will have to have the fan motor replaced under warranty but I now know a short-term fix to keep us cool. Kudos to ProZone for their quick response. read more

Vardan was very honest and helpful. My AC unit is 20 years old. And while my last AC service man from last year encouraged me to get a new unit. Vardan said it wasn't necessary yet. One of my pipes seemed to be clogged and he worked on it for almost 2 hours coming to the conclusion it has to be something that the downstairs apartment have done to the pipes so even with a new unit it wouldn't solve the problem. I am bringing in a plumber for the drain issue. Even after all that work he still only charged me a maintenance fee. There's a good reason he has 5 stars and great reviews. We woke up last SUNDAY morning to the worst feeling ever for a summer day in Las Vegas, the upstairs AC unit is blowing hot air.... I called my friend who usually does repair work for me but he was on vacation. Bummer. I looked around, looked at reviews and decided to call ProZone. Our fan on our AC would not shut off... we originally called One Hour Air who told us that we needed a brand new unit at the whopping price of 12 grand! My sister suggested that we get a second opinion through Pro Zone because that is who they use. Boy am I glad I did! David came out & was very polite & personable. I highly recommend ProZone AC &Heating, my unit was from 1998 and it finally quit. The technician stated it wasn't economical to repair, would I consider other options, yes, I would. Mr Coltan responded, and we discussed what systems were available, I chose the Bosch system. When can I have it installed? Tomorrow 9:00am, great. Technician Zach Schweitzer before any work was performed, floor covering was installed, dust curtains, work shoe covers. A true mark of a professional installation team. Great service! Ashley was great on the phone. Alex diagnosed the problem instantly and actually was teaching me while diagnosing the problem. When the installers came they were quick, efficient, and even fixed a problem from the previous home owner (they did not charge for this because they didn't see it on when they came to diagnose the problem. 1200$ service not charged!). Overall if you are fed up with your home warranty not covering the cost and want things done right please give prozone a shot. They have integrity, knowledgeable, and saved us money! read more

I called the company i always used and they didint answer , i was little upset untill i found Prozone air conditioning on yelp . And the person who answered the phone was very helpfull and gave me lots of information and scheduled me very quick , The service was excellent the texh was fabulous. The tech came to my house in 30 mins, it took him very little to make the AC run again and definitey i am going to call them only when i need AC repair and or other services with AC , Great job, with very high quality, keep up the great work read more

Our tech was great--he took his time diagnosing the issue, got everything fixed, and even gave us some helpful maintenance tips. He mentioned their maintenance plan, but there was zero pressure when we said no. Before leaving, he asked if there was anything else he could help with, which I really appreciated. We had to pay for labor which is not cheap but anything to get my 70 degrees in my house please! Great service, great communication, and a very friendly technician. Highly recommend
