My AC went out at 5p on a Saturday. The company I had been using said they couldn't come until the following morning. Well, I wasn't going to roast in my house all night (luckily no pets or kids live here). So I got on Yelp and found this company, now called Lee's. They had a technician (shout out Diego!) out before 7pm to diagnose the problem. In an hour, he realized that I either had a huge repair or a complete HVAC replacement on my hands. He called his supervisor, who came over within 30 mins. Mind you, it's now 8:30pm on a Saturday. Ray gave me all of my options and did not try to upsell me at all. In fact, he told me I did not need to even consider the two most expensive options, based on my house size and system. He explained everything very carefully and let me ask all the questions I could think of. And he told me that he could have a team at my house at 8am on Sunday (the next day!) to replace my entire HVAC system and it would be done by dinner time. They showed up at 8:04am and were done at 4:20pm. And the most unexpected thing was that Ray lent me his personal portable AC unit so that I could sleep in my house Saturday night and then have a cool room to hang out in while the team did their work. (I don't remember the names of the two men who did that hard work all day Sunday, but massive thank you to them. They put tarps down to protect my floors and they cleaned up everything after they were done.) The warranty comes with a 1-year warranty on labor, 10-years warranty on all of the parts, and for the first year, three complementary inspections. After that first year, for only $140/yr I can continue those three annual inspections (which I will obviously be doing). I now have ice cold AC and I could not be happier with this experience (even though a new HVAC is very expensive but obviously required to live in Vegas). You need HVAC work? I first called Pro Zone. They came out, charged me $69, and told me my compressor wasn't working and the evaporator coil was rotted out. They recommended a full system replacement for up to $30,000. Then I called Super Service. They arrived about an hour later, went up to the rooftop, and quickly diagnosed the issue -- it was just a bad starter. They replaced it, and the total cost was only $530. What a difference. Trust has to be earned. read more

We bought a new home and the AC was not cooling so we called for estimate. They came out told us the unit was 2009. It needed several parts. Which we figured. They were able to fix it the same time. They offered a free eval, which was assigned to a company operating under another name (Lees). The tech from Lees arrived. Before he climbed the ladder, I gave him a capacitor to use in case a capacitor failure was the reason why the AC had stopped working. He came back down, gave me the capacitor back, and said I needed to replace the compressor. For that they would charge $6000 and then maybe I need gas too. When asking what the gas costs, they responded $300 per pound. Here are the problems with that: 1. If it had been the compressor I would most certainly need replace all the gas too (it would have and based on their fee that would have cost another $3000 at least. They were just giving me an imaginary price hoping I would buy a new installation instead. 2. Other companies charge $150/pound for R22 gas. Less than half of what Lees wanted. 3. It was not the compressor. I had a second opinion from another company. They brought a new compressor (I had agreed to have that installed) but they found it was the capacitor and replaced it for me. $450 total cost. They took the compressor back. While old, the old compressor shows 11 ampere and it will work up to 14 ampere before it fails. 4. The tech today found that a previous tech had removed the protection caps for the freon fill nipples. This causes leaks. They put new protection caps on for free. I am reporting Prozone and Lees to the licensing board today. Free eval does not mean it is okay to lie and scam. read more

They used to be called Lees plumbing about a year ago when they came to my place. They were supposed to clean out the, I think it was the blower and install a UV light for my heater unit. My son went in the attic recently and he says there is no UV light. They charged me 2k. You have to really watch these guys. I just had a big problem with Semper Fi. Scamming is bad here in Vegas. I received a call from a nice gentleman by the name Brian, the owner, within a couple days after the visit/review and he was genuinely concerned about the service I received. After I had explained the chain of events that happened on the day of service, he informed me that the technician whom was sent out to my residence was no longer with the company. Brian also insisted in refunding the full cost of the service call to make it right in which I really appreciated. It definitely shows that Brian truly values the reputation of his company as well as the trust from his customers. I laughed because that is more than the price I paid for a 3 ton heat pump Trane complete unit. After several attempts to haggle I realized this deal was not going to happen. Called AC Works, They charged $75 and determine the fan motor was shot and replaced it for $600 and placed the $75 to the repair cost. read more

Review I'm leaving 3 stars because I don't know if the issues I've had are by coincidence or not. I called in for the discounted tune up for my AC unit. A few weeks later my unit stops working. The same company dispatched another tech that stated the tune up check should've included the issue he now found with my unit which I need to replace. Spent $15,000 on a New York two stage unit because I was flying out of the country and had to get the situation handled since I have a tenant. (I was told I could've saved $3,000 on this unit by some other HVAC techs but I'm not positive. I was in a rush) A few months later, they call to schedule free winter maintenance. Temperatures start to drop and I notice my heater has a hard time keeping the house up to the correct temperature for two weeks. It's another week before they are scheduled. I called a friend to just look and see and the furnace valve was turned off. Apparently the permit inspector could've possibly turned it off during inspection and forgot to turn it back on. I cancelled my winter maintenance to say the least. I'm not sure if it's just lack of procedures in place or if their quality of customer service is going down. They're highly rated by so many people so maybe this was just my experience. read more

Prozone came out to our home to do a major project and while it may have taken a few more days than I would have liked, it was extremely well done. We had two major 4 ton units replaced, a UV light, and a whole home humidifier added (I didn't even know these existed)... Derick was our initial repair man and handled the sale. Extremely nice and knowledgeable. Jaime and Andy were out onsite techs and when I say these two wouldn't leave until we were in a comfortable place I mean it. Day one they could have left the system half done because of the hours they were putting in, but they stayed till we had AC in our living spaces. Day two, our whole home was back with AC. Day 3 we had our humidifier and UV lights installed with the plumbing and electric done as well. Our quote with Prozone may have been slightly more than some competitors but I guarantee that no one that we met with would have provided the same level of professionalism, kindness, and hard work as what my family received from Prozone. read more
