Poor…read morecommunication, deceptive information to avoid compensating me for their mistake, and a serious waste of my time and money. Yelp has a set character count so here is a shortened version of my review: I brought my PC in with a clear issue: apps crashing, and a Windows reinstall that kept failing partway through. Before bringing it in, I spent 8 hours troubleshooting on my own and narrowed it down to two likely causes -- a corrupted Windows install or a bad CPU. I explained all of this on the phone and again in person when I dropped it off, and was told I'd get a diagnosis the same day. That didn't happen. I had to call an hour before closing just to get an update, and was told to wait until the next day. When they finally called, they flip-flopped on the diagnosis multiple times within a few hours -- first confirming a corrupted Windows install, then claiming it was fixed, then reversing again to say it was still corrupted. They quoted me $90 for a data transfer and $110 for a Windows reinstall. Since I had my own install media, I said I only needed the transfer -- and the price for that alone jumped to $180, with the excuse that it was only "discounted" when bundled with their install. I paid it anyway to protect my files. When I picked up the PC, they assured me -- twice, after I directly asked -- that reinstalling Windows myself at home would work fine. It didn't. I hit the exact same crash I'd described to them from day one. When I called back, they admitted they'd never actually tested the CPU, despite me flagging it as a likely cause from the start. When I asked why I'd paid $180 for a data transfer I didn't need, they gave excuses and contradicted themselves -- first offering free CPU installation (which takes minutes and isn't a real concession), then claiming the transfer would've been necessary regardless, which wasn't true since I could have accessed my files for free from the other drive. When I brought the PC back in, I watched the tech Google my exact problem before telling me they'd "seen this before." The CPU warranty process was its own headache: days of unanswered messages, a lie that it had already been shipped when it hadn't, and them dodging my calls entirely. I called twice in ten minutes and got voicemail both times; a friend called the same number seconds later and got through immediately. The one good part of this experience was an employee named Charlie, who was consistently kind and professional, even helping carry my PC from the car. Everyone else I dealt with was dismissive and dishonest. End result: I paid $180 for work I didn't need, got no refund or compensation for their misdiagnosis, wasted well over a week, and felt completely scammed. I won't be returning.

Date of visit: June 1, 2026…read more Sadly our TV didn't make the journey from Milwaukee to Las Vegas and was scratched during the move and was time to go to the TV graveyard. The wait to recycle was kind of long because there was a lady at the front of the line that I am pretty sure was running some sort of laptop return scam and finally they came over and said that I could just leave the TV. Normally I would have to pay for it because it was a larger TV but they appreciated my patience and waived the cost, which I really appreciated. Will definitely come back when I need some electronics-related items in the future!

Afterall, I like looking and touching the things I want to buy and if I can make sure a local store stays open and people remain gainfully employed, I am all for it. During a recent visit to the store, there was a misunderstanding on the use of $10 certificate. It may have been my fault, as it may have expired, but being unable to locate any record of it in the app or online account frustrated me. I made my purchase without the benefit of the ghost certificate for all the reasons mentioned above. A day later, I received an online survey about the experience. I gave the store high marks for cleanliness, staff, etc. and shared my experience in the comments section. A few days later, a Services Experience Manager reached out sharing some tips regarding the app, certificates and how I had multiple profiles in their system should be consolidated to make my experience better. Icing on the cake, was they gave me the benefit of the $10 certificate in the form of a small refund on my purchase. Best Buy is a large organization. Knowing that they read and actually take action to feedback provided by consumers is amazing!

I am not allowed to share many details but I will speak to the customer experience shortly. It already feels like you're in a jail cell all day but without the convenience of nearby bathroom facilities. Luckily there are cameras that are monitored in each area so the guards can get a good laugh at you before they finally send someone to break you free. you'll probably get scolded and or condescending to about your mishap for days to come. Dropping off and receiving equipment is pretty straightforward here. I do appreciate that about them. Orderliness: They provide plenty of storage bins so that you can keep your cage looking nice. Choosing Switch for our CoLo needs was absolutely the right decision. Against the competition,…read morethere really is no comparison. We had researched several other sites near the West coast and hadn't found the right fit based on pricing, time-to-cabinet-access, and ability to deliver services promised. When we visited the Switch facility in Las Vegas, we were blown away. I'll never forget walking by row after row of T-SCIFs, realizing that a considerable portion of the Internet surrounded me at that moment. After signing with Switch, it became apparent to us that their presentation of the facility on that first tour was not "special" in any way; it was an exact replica of how they conduct themselves through their website online, in their Sales team, and behind closed doors. This was greatly reassuring and only affirmed the decision we had made. It's easy to assume, seeing the high-tech, polished, flashy nature of Switch, that this is a premium data center with premium services. And you'd be absolutely right. But it would be wrong to assume their pricing is equally premium. As a growing (but small) cloud-services provider, we weren't interested in paying hundreds of thousands in "minimum fees" each month. So, when we were shown pricing that was not only less than what we expected, but even beat out more expensive competitors we were considering, it took no additional consideration for us to move forward. The good news is that Switch can meet your data center needs with highly competitive pricing at any scale--half-cabinet, all the way up to several rows--all while delivering the same premium service and facility access that they are known for. I highly recommend them to anyone needing connectivity, rack space, power, and cooling. You'll be just as blown away as I was and continue to be.

So…read morelet me just say, I went to try them out and my experience here taught me that you really have to stay on top of your service from here, meaning keep checking in on them, because they will not check in with you. I brought a tablet in to get fixed and they told me that they would order the parts, which would only take 4-6 days to be delivered, and that they should have it fixed within 1 day. I went back in on the 7th day asking for an update (because I didn't get one). They told me that they weren't sure if the parts came in because they didn't check their deliveries. My style isn't to create problems, so I told them I would be back. I asked them if they were going to contact me when it was done, and they asked me for my information. I told them that they should have had it from when I brought the tablet in? It was very strange to me. They didn't send a receipt through email as promised either. At this point, I started to worry a bit that I was going to get scammed, but I held on to faith that they would do the right thing. My husband went to pick it up weeks later and it was ready. My husband asked why they didn't send us an update that it was done. Their response was "it should have been sent out in an email." That email never came. Did they fix the screen? Yes. It was in great condition. I am glad they came through with that. My only issue is the transparency of their process. If you're not on them, I swear they might keep your item, say it was abandoned, or that they never had it. At least that is how my experience with them came off to me. Oh, and make sure you get a receipt before you leave! I can say that that part was my fault, trusting that it would have came through email. I know better now if there is a next time, anywhere.
