We ordered a handful of tacos including vegetation, chorizo, carnitas, birria and two others I can't remember. Since it was our first time here I also wanted to try some of the sides to compare to my favorite Mexican spots and we ended up with chips, queso, beans, and chocolate tres leches cake. The toppings bar is absolutely the best in Western, NY with anything that you can imagine (except for radish slices). Our food was ready in just a few short minutes and all was to our liking. My husband felt that the birria was a little bland and I thought the beans were a little too soupy, but considering the spread we ordered and the excellent service that can be forgiven. Overall, we both definitely would not do the hibachi again, even if it were priced cheaper. Overall, all menu items were priced much higher, but this is common amongst restaurants nowadays and in this economy. Would we come back? If we were really craving the experience of cooking a steak on one of their stones. The prices are high enough to where we are now considering going here as we are paying a rather high amount to cook our own steak.

Mighty, I used to love you, I Did. The thing is that when you changed your beans a few years back, it really made the difference to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the nachos deluxe, but when I can't get my usual bean and cheese burrito flavor that I need, it kind of hits the heart. That alone demonstrates an exceptional attention to detail -- a fine skill that takes commitment to quality, and that can seem like a lost art in this slap-it-together society. Their salsa is exceptional; we're talking real-deal, homemade salsa filled with that sunshine-taste trinity of cilantro, onion, and fresh lemon, not to mention the juicy and fresh tomatoes. Whatever you do -- get the salsa, and plenty of it. It's chunky and tasty and one of the most authentic salsas I've had. I love the steak burrito with rice (I recommend the Mexican rice option), black beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, onions, and of course, plenty of that mouthwatering salsa. I pay a little extra and have them add the fajita peppers and onions, which make for a very tasty addition. The steak is delish. I do takeout and have not dined in, but the dining area is clean and pleasant, and the staff members are friendly and very intent on providing excellent customer service. My dining experience at Burrito Bay last week left me with the distinct impression that they're providing some of the very best food, and easily one of the very best fast casual dining experiences, in Western New York. Certainly there are plenty of other restaurants that may be more authentic, but the salsa is the real deal here, and everything I've ever ordered has been memorable, fresh, and crave worthy. They seem to have a lot of young, athletic, male customers, and that demographic generally tracks with good eats, and generous portions at a mostly fair price. My recent visit/recent steak burrito compelled me to write this review. I feel it's really important to recognize the good stuff that remains in this world, and this restaurant is one of the places where they're still serving just that.
