There are at least two types of Thai restaurants: the generic, load the peanuts and the sugar into…read morethe Pad Thai to please the uninitiated kind; and the we serve the fish with the head on and the lemongrass lights up your taste buds kind. This is the latter. Walking into the restaurant, tucked into a strip mall, I was getting ready to fire up the generic alarm. But then the sweet lady that was our server disarmed me with her speed, kindness, and directness. Then the cucumber salad came out. Even if you like Veggie Tales it'll make you kiss Larryboy good bye. Next came the yellow curry--it took me back to my favorite hole-in-the-wall Thai place in NY, and I was in curry heaven. Incredible taste, hearty potatoes and carrots, and a happy tummy. Like I tipped the bowl to drink the last of it. But beware! They play these addictive videos of people making street food on the wall-mounted TV that will make you want to a) buy all the food and b) take a bite out of the screen. If at first you don't succeed, Thai Thai again.

I ordered the pad Thai chicken and shrimp and the noodles weren't all covered in the pad Thai sauce, they were lacking flavors. The order had all the elements to make it spectacular but just not saucy enough. The beef drunken noodles were delicious but the beef had no flavor, and had a rubbery texture. I ate all the noodles but spared the beef. I recommend getting chicken shrimp or tofu in this order, I did not like the beef. The satay chicken was delicious, very tender and tasty. And I ordered spicy basil chicken fried rice, but instead I got spicy basil chicken with a side of jasmine rice. The dish was delicious, but not what I ordered. I also ordered the sticky mango rice and that was delicious and met my expectations but I do believe a better version exists at Lotus Thai. I highly recommend to double check your Togo orders before leaving the restaurant especially when placing more than 3 dishes. The price is very reasonable and they provide large portions. A dish can feed 2 people. This place was big and clean. It's located in a area with other shops and a large parking lot.

You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients, from the perfectly seasoned and tender meat to the crisp veggies and warm, soft pita. Nothing tasted reheated or dry -- everything came out hot and flavorful. The portions are solid and the flavors are on point. The rice was fluffy, the kabobs were juicy, and the sauces tied everything together perfectly. On top of that, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was right. You can feel that they care about the food and the customers. If you're in Victorville and want fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food with great service, Don Kabob is definitely worth stopping by. I'll be back for sure.

We waited nearly 30 minutes for our food with no communication about the delay, and despite us sitting down intending to dine in, our food was handed to us packed to-go without asking. An employee came up and asked us to leave around 7:44 as he handed us our food, so they could start cleaning, while other customers were still sitting and eating without being told anything. The whole situation felt awkward and unprofessional, especially considering the amount of time and money we spent there that evening. We completely understand restaurants needing to close on time, but better communication and consistency with customers would've made the experience much more respectful.

I find that their chicken and shrimp pad Thai was delicious, full of flavors and very tasty. I also enjoyed their chicken and shrimp sauteed appetizer. I loved the cucumber salad, love the crunch and the sweetness of the cucumbers. I also savoured the mango sweet coconut rice dessert. And I highly recommend the basil fried rice spicy. Full of flavor on every grain. It's unbelievable and so tasty. I find the prices affordable and reasonable given that if I purchased these ingredients and make them at home, it would far exceed the bill I pay at the restaurant. So I am very pleased. The place is nice, cozy and clean, love the decor and the staff was amazing. Such an amazing visit. Thank you!

Deep fried salmon is clearly not their popular dish, it was very dry and lacked flavor. The appetizer we tried was good but I wish the sweet chili sauce had more kick to it. My friend had curry with chicken and it was much more flavorful than my dish. The waitress was friendly and even suggested some dishes for us to try. The restaurant was clean and not too loud for the time of day.

Someone told us to check out Havanazucar; and I'm glad we did. We got there when they first openedEd at 11am so everything was friesh, hot and delicious. They were serving bottom-less mimosas and let me tell you something; I haven't seen my wife smile this much since we got married . The staff is friendly, attentive and kept the mimosas flowing. It's a great spot whether you are riding solo or you are with your family. Will definitely be a staple spot when we are in the mood for Cuban food.

Pastrami sandwich with fries and an unsweetened iced tea First, the customer service at this small spot was great. Even though we ordered to go the cashier brought our drinks and food right to our table. Both sandwiches were top notch and muy delicioso. Cubano sandwich was filled with smoked grilled ham, Juicy roasted pork, cheese, pickles and pressed. It was served with the most amazing garlic aioli. I opted for the banana chips that were light and crispy and a perfect accompaniment to the sandwich. We also ordered a pastrami sandwich with fries. The fries were well seasoned and thin. Pastrami was so delicious however my only gripe is that it needed a touch more mustard. I shared some of my garlic aioli with my partner but hogged the rest for my other half of sandwich. Sandwiches were cooked to order, hot and fresh. The bread was soft with a slight crunch due to it being pressed. It was a very nice change from the usual burger or fried chicken fast food. We can't wait to go back !!
