Man I am sooooo happy this place exists for when I'm in the area. This was our first time here but everything was excellent!!! It's in a bit of a weird location but their setup inside the transport building is really nice and really clean with lots of seating. The worker was super friendly too. Everything we tried was delicious. The nachos were my favorite and despite not having fake meats like many places (with beyond/impossible or soy based or seitan type substitutes) the proteins that they offer were really tasty. The jackfruit chicken went great on the nachos. Everything felt a lot healthier than what you'd expect from a taco joint and it was absolutely not lacking in flavor or spice! The salsa was bomb and had plenty of kick. Will definitely come back here again.

Vegan Vatos - Victorville I absolutely love this place! I've been here before, and every time I forget to take pictures because the food looks and smells so delicious -- but today I finally remembered! I ordered the jackfruit enchiladas and the Baja-style "fish" made from portobello mushrooms, and both were amazing. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can really taste the quality and care in every bite. The sauces are flavorful and perfectly balanced, and the food leaves you feeling full and good afterward -- real comfort food that's still light and wholesome. The staff is always friendly, the restaurant is spotless, and the overall experience is just fantastic. If you're looking for delicious vegan food with incredible flavors and great vibes, Vegan Vatos is the spot!

Do yourself a huge favor and hit this place up! It's kinda hard to find, in the bus station furthest door. I don't think I've ever had such good Mexican food let alone vegan Mexican food. And they are quick! I gotta come back asap!

I have visited this restaurant 2x in the last week...partially because we are on a No meat fast and the other part is I really like the items I have tried so far. I have ordered and absolutely loved the nachos. Once with chorizo (cauliflower) and the other nachos with Pollo (jackfruit). I will definitely order them again. My husband tried the Pollo Taco Trio and the Chorizo Enchiladas. Although he didn't love them, he didn't like them that much either. Lol He's pretty traditional as a meat and potatoes kinda guy. This vegan stuff is gonna take some getting used to. The male owner was kind on the phone and took my order close to closing. His wife was very gracious and friendly when I went to pick it up. The restaurant is in a small area in the bus/train stop. I gave the restaurant a four because the restaurant, is not in the best part of town and therefore there is a lot of homeless hanging around on the outside. My husband also wanted additional salsa but she said that she had already put salsa on and I guess doesn't give xtra. He added his own on both of his entrees.

The carne asada tacos are my favorite.

Very good food. Plus they have gluten free symbols on their menu making it easier to order gf. And they have desserts that they change up. The one time I got one it was so delicious. Thank you!

We were meeting family in Victorville and surprised to find a vegan restaurant there. We are happy we did. This little gem is inside a bus depot. The food was amazing. We had non vegan family who were eating with us and enjoyed their food as well. Hubby got the potato enchiladas with a side of black beans and rice. I had the loaded fries with chorizo and our family member had the taco salad. All 3 dishes were excellent and filled with fresh and crisp vegetables. The dishes had some spice heat to them. The service was good. The prices not bad. The place was clean and comfortable.

The Food is absolutely delicious. Now let me mention I am NOT vegan, my Bestie is. We both got nachos and shared a burrito. The owner is so kind and answered all 50+ of my friends questions . I was hungry AF we both were. Anyway give this spot a try wether your vegan or not. I found this gem on yelp. You won't be disappointed.

Stop in this place for a taco Trio. Love me some good vegan food. It was hard to find because it is tucked inside of the bus depot so if you don't know where to park, just be patient and turn around and a few circles and figure it out because the food is delicious and the people behind the counter were super kind and lovely. The spice was a little bit high for my liking so I don't think I would take a little kid there but for adults, the food was just right

WOW! So excited to find this place - right off the 15 on our way to Vegas-- this place is inside the bus terminal so keep your eyes open to make sure you don't miss it! Very friendly, clean and nice atmosphere inside. The food is phenomenal - the protein choices are not processed "meats" but carefully prepared plant options (the carne asada is hibiscus flower!) Veggies are fresh, pickled onions are awesome and they are allergy conscious and asked specifically if we had any allergies - all around 10/10 and I only wish they weren't a 2 day drive from my home! Mindblowing!!!!

Peach cobbler cinnamon roll soooo good!

Me and my friends have been wanting to check this place out ever since they opened. We finally went on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm. It was empty but also it's kind of hard to find. The owner said they are not always open on Saturdays (which we didn't know) so check their IG for hours. It's located inside the greyhound station. The surrounding area outside is a bit sketchy looking but don't let that deter you from going in. The ambiance once you're inside the restaurant is so cute! The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I got the taco trio: The fish taco which is beer battered portobello mushrooms. 5/5 The Pollo taco which is jackfruit. 5/5 And the chorizo which were potatoes. 3/5 Also got the cucumber lime drink which was 5/5!! It was so light and refreshing, perfect to go along the food. My friend ordered the rice and black beans which I tasted and rate it 2/5, it was just ok. It came with a side of homemade tortilla chips which was 5/5! So fresh and was seasoned with some sort of spices. She also ordered the peach cobbler cinnamon roll which is made by an outside baker and brought in and OMG I never thought a vegan dessert could taste so good! 5/5 Overall this place is a hidden gem in the Desert and I hope it sticks around forever! Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. FYI: the cucumber lime drink and desserts are not listed on the menu so just ask what they have that day and he'll let you know.

Literally the best tacos I've had in Victorville. Ive been looking for a taco spot but I've been disappointed. A lot of spots skip the fundamentals, and I have to drown my taco in salsa and lime to get some flavor. Here I didn't need to do that. They do everything right: Flavor Presentation Size for $$ Spice The tortillas didn't taste store bought. I'm not vegan or vegetarian and I barely noticed because it was that good. I could barely finish two because they're large. And I didn't have that heavy feeling after like I do when I eat real asada. They took their time and it shows. 10/10. I'm not sure if nopales was on the menu. They should add that.

Excellent food in an unexpected location - the Victorville train station! Tasty items, casual "fast food" - order at counter and your food will be brought to your table. Nachos are great for sharing for 3 or 4 people. Worth the short drive off the 15 if you are in the area. opens at noon.

Nothing tasted reheated or dry -- everything came out hot and flavorful. The portions are solid and the flavors are on point. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was right. You can feel that they care about the food and the customers. If you're in Victorville and want fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food with great service, Don Kabob is definitely worth stopping by. I'll be back for sure.

We waited nearly 30 minutes for our food with no communication about the delay, and despite us sitting down intending to dine in, our food was handed to us packed to-go without asking. An employee came up and asked us to leave around 7:44 as he handed us our food, so they could start cleaning, while other customers were still sitting and eating without being told anything. The whole situation felt awkward and unprofessional, especially considering the amount of time and money we spent there that evening. We completely understand restaurants needing to close on time, but better communication and consistency with customers would've made the experience much more respectful.

The wait time was a little long but I came in with a big family so I'll given them the benefit of the doubt, and the food is, as they claim, hand grown and ground instead of processed and everything is fresh The burger itself was great, I didn't think it'd be that good considering I don't like tomato, but I barely even noticed it was there. About maybe a pound of food with two 1/3 pound patties and everything else added with it, what I'm assuming is a full pound. The taste was impeccable and I felt full after eating it, and I could tell it was handmade compared to processed fast food. The fries were amazing, they taste kind of like in n out animal style fries, which I do enjoy, except these were Belgium style (fried twice I think). They had a spice to them because they put jalapeño sauce in it so I'd be careful about that if your sensitive to spice, but overall great I felt very at home, it's very local and minimal with little business (except my 7 person party). The atmosphere at first feels a little unfriendly but I will definitely learn to be a regular here once I get a job and a steady income. Overall, a great restaurant in my opinion to try if you're in Victorville, big portions that is handmade, a friendly atmosphere once you get accustomed to it. There is a long wait but I had a big party and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it's handmade, and it can be a little unwelcoming if you're there for the first time If you're wondering if there are vegetarian options, there is in the form of the happy Wilbur and happy Wilbur fries, it being made from mushroom pulled pork instead of actual pulled pork 9/10 would go again

Grinding their beef in house definitely makes a difference. I usually enjoy their Chickenator Fries but this time it looks like the recipe has changed. It still tastes good with their spicy sauces but I remembered that the chicken used to be pieces of grilled breast meat. This time, the cashier asked the chef if there was any chicken left for the Chickenator Fries. He said "yes," went to the freezer and showed her a frozen stick of ground chicken. Albeit, the ground chicken was seasoned well and tasted good; I was just expecting chicken breast meat. Also, the fries were very dark in my portion. They are still the same creamy textured Kennebec potatoes as before but seemed tired and old. Service was okay. They are not really set up for cash sales anymore since there was only 36 cents in their till for change at the time. Dining areas were clean but the interior is due for an update.
