This was my first time here so not sure if they make their own pita in-house, but omg Best. Pita. Ever. So delicious

This looks more like chicken shawarma than chicken kabob to me. What do you think?

I knew about The Don Kabob in Victorville before it even opened its doors. I just have not gotten to checking them out until today. I was so excited as I love Mediterranean foods. Unfortunately, it wasn't a very great eating experience. I arrived about an hour plus before closing time. They weren't busy at all. It has very colorful interior with lots of seating. Some outside seating available as well. They have one of those fancy soda machines. They have restrooms for customer use only. I knew exactly what I wanted to try which were the Chicken Kabob Plate and Falafel Plate. I ordered them to-go. The lady who took my order was very friendly and nice. Thank you miss! Fyi, their menu is on the left side upon entry. Just a tip, you should review the menu first and once you know what you want, then walk up to the counter and order. Otherwise, you'll be turning your head and squinting your eyes to look at the menu like I did. Or you can take a photo of the menu to have it on hand when ordering. Btw, they don't have the menu at the counter. The wait time was about 15 mins which wasn't too bad. I didn't check my order before leaving the restaurant and I should have. My boo boo... After I got home and opened my Chicken Kabob Plate, I was like... why is the chicken kabob meat flat? This is NOT chicken kabob! It looks more like chicken shawarma that was repurposed to be chicken kabob. They didn't do a very good job because chicken kabobs are chunks not flat. This is very UNACCEPTABLE! I paid good money for chicken kabob, I should get what I paid for... the real chicken kabob! In addition to it not being in its true form, chicken was super super dry. I had to stop eating it. Hence, 1 star! Btw, flavor was just okay. Anyway, rice was in a dark orange color which I'm not used to seeing for Mediterranean yellow rice. It tasted okay and could have been fluffier. Now on the bright side, the falafel, hummus, Arabian salad + turnip pickles, and pita bread were very good. Quite tasty! Will I come back you ask? I would have if they stayed true to serving the foods that their customers ordered. I feel they fell way short in this area. So verdict is a big fat NO... I will not be back unfortunately. I really wanted to try their other food items, but they have lost a customer for life. Businesses that don't do right do not get my patronage and support going forward. If it is an honest mistake, then fine, but if it is intentional to serve something that the customer did not order for whatever reason, then it's not fine. Integrity is everything in my book.

The restaurant is quiet, clean, and very nice looking. Service was quick and to the point, they have tap pay. LOOOOOVED the food it's so delicious. I tried the chicken shawarma rice bowl and it did not disappoint. Also so much food in just one portion. Thank you!! 10/10 will be back.

We were in the area visiting and wanted to grab dinner that we could bring back to our hotel room. Upon walking in, there was a decent crowd so I felt good about my choice. The menu on the wall didn't have everything I had seen on the online menu so I went with what I saw on their online menu and ordered the juiciest Egyptian kabob plate and the Shawafel plate (beef). The plates both came with hummus, half a pita, rice and salad with pickled veggies. The food was hit and fresh and insanely delicious. This was easily some of the best food I have had in a while. My husband and I were disappointed only in the fact that we don't have anything this good in Seattle. His beef kabob was absolutely juicy. I didn't think it would be but my gawd, it was moist and full of flavor. My plate came with half falafel and half beef sharma. All though the beef was in small pieces it was still a punch of flavor bites and pretty tender. The pickled salad that came with the plate was the perfect accompaniment for my hummus and falafel. The hummus was smooth and creamy too. The beef samosa had a flaky crust with delicious filling. The creamy garlic sauce was served on the side and added a nice tang to the samosa. Not pictured but also ordered a large baba ghanouge with a side of pita and holy moly! It was some of the best I have had in a long time. The roasted eggplant came through but was highlighted by the other flavors in the dip and was perfect in every bite. I wanted to bring home a whole tub with me. It is a lot of food for the price too. Definitely a great value. Neither of us finished our food and warmed it up for breakfast the next day. It reheated well and was just as delicious. If I tell you I'm planning a trip to Victorville - just know it's so I can come here.

This is the worst pita falafel I have ever had. I ordered over 100 dollars worth of food I asked for such sauce in the pita. It was dry. Also you forgot to add the large spicy sauce I asked for on the side Wich was a charge of 12.99. Never ever again will I order from here.

If I could eat here everyday I would! Amazing service! You can tell the food is fresh and made to order. Slight mix up on the sauce but I actually didn't mind, I ended up enjoying both!

Stopped by this location with my two sisters. Place is very vibrant and has seating available for small groups. We got two chicken shawarma fries and a kofta plate with some desserts. Everything was well seasoned and juicy. We had plenty of left overs to feed a fourth person. Food came out fast, establishment is clean and prices seem reasonable.

Messed up both of my online orders, didn't give my side that I paid extra for, and charged me extra for meat that they didn't give. I ordered 2 mixed grill salad bowls which comes with 3 different meats - steak chicken and beef kofta. For one bowl I asked to replace the chicken with steak and paid an extra substitution fee. They ended up giving me one bowl with only chicken and one bowl with only steak. How is this a mixed grill bowl? Mind you the chicken only and steak only bowls are cheaper. They also didn't give my $9 large sauce bowl. Overall bad experience and ruined my colleague and my lunch, would not recommend

Love this place! Food is great, place is always clean and staff is friendly. Yes, the wait can sometimes be a bit on the longer side at times but totally worth it. I've tried the falafel, chicken shawarma and kofta. All deliciously flavor and cooked to perfection. Definitely a gem in the high desert.

The plate consisted of beef and chicken kabob plus a beef kofta, salad, rice, pita, and a choice of hummus or baba ganoush. The baba ganoush was the best I have ever tasted. So smoky and flavorful! I could just have that with pita and would be very satisfied. The meats were savory and flavorful. Rice is a seasoned long grain rice which is not basmati but tastes good with the meats. If you're looking for the definitive Lebanese experience in the IE, this is the order to beat. The Breakdown: * The Trio Grill: You get a sampling of everything--chicken, beef, and kefta kebabs. The chicken kebab was the standout for me; it was incredibly tender and had that perfect open-flame char that you just can't replicate at home. * Baba Ghanoush: This was a smoky revelation. You can taste the fire-roasted eggplant in every bite, and the texture was perfectly whipped and creamy without losing its soul. It's easily some of the best in the area. * Tabouleh: So many places use too much bulgur, but Mezzaterranean does it right. It was a bright, herbaceous explosion of fresh parsley and lemon that cut through the richness of the grilled meats perfectly. * The Extras: It all comes together with their fluffy rice and warm pita. Pro tip: use the pita to make little "mini-tacos" with a piece of chicken, a dollop of baba ghannouj, and a pinch of tabouleh. The Verdict: The portions on the Trio Plate are massive (definitely enough to share, though you might not want to). Everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and authentic. It's clear this family-run spot puts a lot of heart into their recipes. 10/10, will be back for more of that garlic sauce!
