Update on our fence! We still love the height on the fence! The boards have separated a little from each other with the rain and outside elements but it still looks pretty good. We did however find a broken water line 6 feet from the house where it looks like they initially dug to put a post in since there was a hole with the pipe being exposed. Aguilar came and replaced our old fence with a new 7' board-on-board cedar fence with hidden steel posts, top cap and kick board. It's absolutely beautiful and we are so happy with it. We obtained 3 quotes for the same fence style and Aguilar came in at the most reasonable price without sacrificing quality. The process to obtain a quote was simple and the crew...I can't say enough good things about the crew! These guys kicked some serious butt and put in two full 12 hour days to get it all done - Four sides, including two gates and removing the old fence. They started early, worked hard, and were professional and friendly. I knocked 1 star off because, while Michelle in the office was very responsive and friendly, the other woman was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Fortunately, we were able to work directly with Michelle for most of our questions. The other reason was for the 3% fee if we wanted to pay by credit card, as this was not mentioned up front and was a $400 surprise when we went to request an invoice a few days before installation. 3% of the total is a big chunk of change when you're already spending a solid amount of money on a new fence. We ultimately paid by check for this reason, but it would have been nice to know this up front. I imagine a great deal of customers are interested in paying by card because it's such a big cost and may need to be financed. Overall, I would highly recommend Aguilar and would hire them again. read more

Just wanted to give a major thumbs up to Aguilar Fence. When they arrived here in Lincoln, I had been very concerned about our hedge, and they were able to perform a work around on that bush. I pruned it back and even though it was close to the fence the fence builder was able to squeeze in between the hedge and fence. They were courteous, respectful, and responsive.
