The chili sauce that's put on the omelette is tasty omelette are filled with a lot of meat although they do not put enough sauce, so it was Dry so I requested extra sauce, not knowing that there was up charge $7.98 that's ridiculous !!! Look at receipt and for a can soda $3.50 U think they do that so you won't ask for a refill and just charge you for another can of Coke. Wow!! talk about gouging... If I knew I would have sent my plate back for them to fix it. No complaint about the service. Our waitress was very helpful attentive, although should be trained to talk about up charges on anything on their menu. My other concern is that the plates that they serve on are made of Mexican pottery clay and were very porous I know some clay pottery had a problem with lead poisoning exposure I'm just saying on the other hand the atmosphere is chill and facility is clean located downtown Stockton right by the movie theaters I always like to mention in my Post about the facility and the cleanliness. I ordered the chilaquiles plate with the maximum spicy level and wow it was good! Our mimosa flights were awesome too! We only had one drink and we were already feeling the buzz. My mom and I found this little gem today. After an appt at Kaiser we were ready to eat. I yelped brunch and this spot appeared. I ate the chilaquiles in green sauce and my mom had the breakfast with pancakes. All delicious... we enjoyed a cafe de la olla... so tasty, no need for sugar or cream. Staff were so polite and helpful. Parking could be difficult because it is downtown but I was with moms and she had a placard, tons of disability spaces. It was busy.. it was also around lunch time. Had to drop my car off to get serviced, got hungry and was deciding between a coffee shop and another place. I forgot I've been wanting to try ah huevo for a while, so I took the opportunity to come in and eat here. Walking in, the servers up front are super nice, they are busy but they acknowledged me timely. I got seated pretty fast, and started looking at what I wanted to get. I started off with the cucumber lemonade, mann. No one can get cucumber agua fresca right, let alone cucumber lemonade. These guys did it right, and it was the perfect amount of cucumber flavor with perfectly proportioned lemonade. My only complaint was I wish I had more. Haha. Apparently they have a specials menu with foods they typically serve only in the afternoon, I got lucky and was able to try one of the specials, it was either the fried fish platter or the aguachile. Both sounded good but ended up going with the aguachile, I can't pass up trying a different aguachile from different places. Even though it was pretty spicy, the spice was so flavorful. It was not like dry heat at all eating it, the shrimps were pretty big too, raw, and the red onions + cucumbers it came with made it super refreshing. They offer 3 tostadas and some saltines to eat with the aguachile, apparently they have a brown/black aguachile which is sweeter/less spicy as well so you have a couple options to choose from. Overall, I will be coming back to try their other specials. I will be honest with you, the breakfast items did not sound that great, but give the specials a try, especially the aguachile or the fried fish. In a word, underwhelming. The ambiance is incredible, when you walk in you are greeted by a delightfully playful decor that gives you hope this place will wow you. Unfortunately that is where it stops. There was about a 20 minute wait which wasn't too bad but when we checked back in the hostess seemed confused and tried adding us onto the waitlist. One of the other workers pointed to the table meant for us but the hostess was still confused and started asking about a different party. Up to that point it was understandable but then without a word to us she walked away leaving us confused as to what was going on. We stood there for a few minutes until that hostess from our table shouted my name across the restaurant and pointed to the table next to her and said that was our table. Just seemed to lack proper etiquette overall, stepping away from an interaction without excusing yourself and then calling to us from across the restaurant instead of escorting us. Even after that there were little things, we were checked on mere moments after the food arrived but from that point no one checked on us until we flagged them down for more water, forgetting the boxes we asked for, little things like that. They weren't rude at all so this wasn't at all 1-2 star behavior but in no way would be considered 4-5 star behavior. The food was underwhelming. I ordered the chipotle chilaquiles, my friend the poblano chilaquiles, and we shared the pancake taco trio. The pancake taco trio was good, but hard to eat but cute presentation and I would consider ordering their regular pancakes. The chilaquiles were disappointing. My meat was overcooked and tough and the chilaquiles both lacked flavor. My chipotle chilaquiles were so incredibly dry after the very top layer of crema, I feel like they had to have forgotten a sauce, the poblano chilaquiles had a nice green sauce covering them which gave it the much needed moisture mine lacked. Will you hate eating here, no. Do I recommend coming here, not particularly based on this experience, also a no. This was a solid 3/5 read more

Overpriced for sure, girlfriend got chilaquiles and I got barbacoa tacos, chilaquiles were dry and the onions were huge, on top of that they had no flavor at all. Barbacoa tacos came disassembled, had to build them like legos with the onions cilantro and salsa. Mid at best. My friend really enjoyed the chilaquiles with 3 sauces and her orange juice. She said the orange juice tasted very fresh. My other friend did not enjoy the meat lovers omelet, she said it tasted very bland and basic. She describes it as "nothing special to it." Recently opened for breakfast and lunch Open early and open on weekends! Lunch starts at 2pm Lots of room for groups or just a couple. You can hang out and eat or get something to go. My friends and I decided to try the Sunday brunch. It was busy in there, but we were able to be seated right away. The waitress was very nice and attentive. But it did take a while to get our drinks. We were excited to try the mimosa and michelada flights, unfortunately, 15 minutes after taking our drink order, the waitress informed us they ran out of the flight glasses. We were really bummed. Honestly that should never happen during brunch. We ended up ordering the micheladas and they were good. But hopefully the restaurant sees how busy they get on Sundays and purchase more flight glasses, especially since they advertise the flights all over their social media. Once we ordered, it took about 45 minutes before we received our food. Again, I get they are busy, but they should plan accordingly for a busy Sunday brunch crowd. Yesterday morning, my party of seven walked into Ah Huevo! hoping for a good brunch experience. Things started off rocky right away. After being seated, it took quite a while before anyone even came by to get our drink order. When we finally placed it -- three waters, one coffee, one Sprite, one cucumber lemonade, a flight of mimosas, and two horchatas -- the drinks still took a long time to arrive. By the time they showed up, we had already been waiting long enough to notice the lack of attention from our server. It took about another ten minutes after the drinks for anyone to take our food order. We asked for three chilaquiles, one all-meat lovers omelet, one molcajete, and one breakfast combo. From there, we were mostly left alone. No check-ins, no follow-up, no basic service you'd expect when dining out. Things got even worse when the restaurant decided to cram a party of nine people directly behind us, so close that we couldn't even push our chairs back without bumping into someone. When the food finally arrived, it came with problems. One of the chilaquiles was made with onions even though we had specifically asked for no onions. The molcajete wasn't even served properly -- instead of walking it around the table to the right person, the waitress just set it down and expected us to pass it hand-to-hand across the table, which could have easily led to someone getting burned. We also asked for napkins multiple times, and straws weren't even available. During the meal, my coffee sat empty. Refills took forever. Same with napkins and water -- each time I ended up having to get up myself and go ask. Each request took another ten minutes or so before it was actually handled. At one point, I even noticed the waitress on her personal cell phone toward the back instead of checking on tables. When it came time to pay, things only got worse. We had three separate tabs for our group, but the bill included an automatic 18% service charge because, according to the waitress, we were considered a party of eight. We were seven. The first part of our group paid without realizing the charge was added. When I caught it on my bill, I questioned it. The waitress argued, saying there was nothing she could do, and even claimed she gave us her best service. She told me that the only way to remove the charge would be for her to pay it back out of her own pocket. That response alone showed how poorly the situation was being handled. After going back and forth, another waitress finally stepped in and offered to return the service charge in cash, which came out to around $45 to $50. At the end of the day, the food was decent, but service is what makes or breaks a restaurant, and the service here was downright terrible. From slow drinks to wrong orders, unsafe serving, being crammed into tight spaces, and then being forced to argue about an undeserved service charge, this was an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. This was my first time at Ah Huevo! and it will definitely be my last. Stockton businesses used to pride themselves on genuine customer service, and this place is the opposite of that. This is exactly why businesses don't last: overcharging for food and then delivering the worst service possible. read more

I had high hopes for this place until I got to try it! Overall the experience wasn't that good, customer service was ok. It is extremely over priced, the food is also underwhelming it lacks seasoning just not that flavorful. My entree came with a side of beans and rice but some of the beans were not smashed and super undercooked. The chicken tinga was very bland, my mimosa flight was warm not cold at all. The servers would give us water without any ice we had to keep asking for ice the water wasn't cold at all they had the water pitchers just sitting on the counter mind you it's over 90 degrees currently and having warm drinks at a restaurant isn't ideal and also having to pay for it. For 2 people we almost paid $100 the place itself was very hot and humid, there is a lot of improvement to be done here. I will not be returning the quality doesn't match the pricing and the lack of understanding of the customers goes beyond. Not worth the hype yall!! read more

Crispy and nice flavor. The mozzarella sticks were average and the onion rings were ok. The tenders were the star of that show for sure. My meal came late the pancakes were more like flap jacks. I didn't like the pancake here at all. The texture was dense and not a great flavor. I wouldn't order them again. The bacon wasn't crispy like I asked. The eggs were good and Hashbrowns could have been crispier. Would have been better if my food was also served warmer/hotter. Waffle and chicken was good. The chorizo scramble was ok. I thought this was a Mexican restaurant by the name and some menu items. But the chorizo didn't come with bean rice or tortillas it came with toast. Also the ham egg scramble was fine..
