The parking here is very good , I have had a few different things off the menu and they were all delicious! The service is outstanding! The friendly atmosphere is fantastic! The online menu does not show everything available, No matter what you choose it will be delicious! Highly recommend

Stumbled in for lunchtime with a friend before we continued to shop for Mother's Day gifts. So a little break lol. Sat at the bar top. Bartenders were all super friendly and so happy! Their vibes made us happy and made lunch even better. Brussels sprouts - 10/10 Short rib taquitos - 12/10 sooo good! Fries - 9/10 And of course, always have to grab a Runaway Bride cocktail! Always been my choice for a drink here.

Omg..the food is good. The cornbread is too die for. Never had it fried like this but will highly recommend. The lobster pizza was delicious and the wild mushroom pizza with smoke olives added was great. If in the area...please try. They have several location. The drinks were very good as well. The server was pleasant. The set up is nice for intimate dinners or with the group.

I'm not from the area, but was more than willing to try this place on a recommendation from a friend. We had a group of 7 and they were so kind to seat us in a private room area. It was perfect for our little birthday celebration for someone in our party of 7. The ambiance is clean, cozy and a touch of formal. The waitress + rest of the staff were great. They took great care of us. They were fun, attentive, helpful and genuinely seem like they enjoy their job. The food came out in a very timely manner which I was pleasantly surprised. The portions were also more than enough, so we ended up bringing leftovers home. As far as winners in my book, I really would say the Margherita Pizza, Four Cheese Mac & Cheese, Cornbread and Furikake Fries (plus the dipping sauces) had to be my favorites. If I'm in the area again, I wouldn't mind stopping by to try more pizzas and maybe a steak entree. Thanks for a great experience Market Tavern.

The pork chop was on point. Perfectly seasoned. Cooked just right. Super juicy. Service was great. Staff was friendly and on it. The place looks clean and sharp. Good vibe overall. Only miss was the Brussels sprouts. A bit undercooked and bland. I would go back for the pork chop for sure. Just passing on the Brussels sprouts next time.

Service was good. Our server was friendly and courteous. Nice, fun ambience. Food is decent but rather pricey. We ordered: Wild Pacific Cod: Per the hubby, he thought it was good. He enjoyed the garlic mash and the vegetables. Chicken Parmesan: My son thoroughly enjoyed his meal. He ate the entire plate! Mary's Rotisserie 1/2 Chicken: Chicken was tender and juicy. I did not like the salsa verde on top of the chicken. The veggies had a lot of flavors going on - savory, sour, sweet, herby. Too much for me. Autumn Lasagna: A hearty dish for a vegetarian meal. My favorite was the soup of the day, which was Beef Tuscan. Delicious and filling. The dessert menu looked promising but we opted to skip dessert as we were quite full.

Decent food, but pricy for what it is. We ordered 3 items: Wood Grilled Octopus, Cab Burger, and Cobb Salad. +Food: Expensive, salty, but just good enough to get you to finish your meal. For the Cab burger, it is $21 dollars for a basic burger, just bun, meat, veggies, and sauce with a side of fries. If you want cheese, it costs $3 more... Fries are as basic as they can get, thin cut and salty. I would pass on this and opt for something else on the menu if you take into account what you get, the basic taste and burger ingredients do not justify it. The Wood Grilled Octopus is decent. Tastes fresh and has a strong savory flavor that any seafood lover would enjoy. They do add a sauce on it - I would recommend requesting it on the side, so you can enjoy the grilled octopus and then dip it in the sauce if you'd like. The potatoes are considered '' crispy '' per the menu description, but it was quite the opposite. Tasted more so like they boiled/steamed it, no crunch on the potatoes we got whatsoever. Cobb Salad is pretty solid and good portion. Would recommend this if you want a salad. Nothing much to say about it other than it being fresh and the avocados were nice and green. +Service & Ambiance Attentive staff and friendly. Moody & Dark Lighting and clean restaurant. No complaints Overall rating: 3.75

My absolute FAVORITE restaurant in Stockton, whether it's for lunch or dinner it's absolutely DEELISH tonight we got something very similar to last time but switched up one of our appetizers and we're not disappointed! The usual being the delicious skirt steak for me with mash potatoes and polenta, and my friend got the same thing but extra veggies (Brussel sprouts and broccoli) and for the appetizers the deviled eggs, and the short rib taquitos. Both were 10/10 amazing!!! Our server was an ANGEL and literally memorized our entire order and drinks!! II was highly impressed he got EVERYTHING right!! Someone give this man a raise!! And he was super on top of everything and the sweetest!! What wonderful service! The ambiance was definitely classy, but casual in a sense since we did sit in the bar area. I absolutely love the atmosphere! Excellent service, delicious food and great vices!!! Always an absolute hit!!!

Some plates were worth it, others weren't, and at the prices they're charging the gaps were hard to ignore. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The deviled eggs were a hit at the table and went fast. The jalapeño on each one was a nice touch, though the heat varied depending on which egg you grabbed since it was just a thin slice. The salmon cakes were solid, nothing to complain about. My mom's ceviche tostada was loaded, the avocado was generous and fresh, but the ceviche itself lacked the acidity you expect from the dish and had very little shrimp in it. She said it felt more like a lunch item than a dinner offering, though two of them were filling. My mom's friend had the steak frites, which was the standout plate of the night: a lean cut with a rich mushroom béchamel, well cooked, and the frites were fried rather than what you might expect, but the flavor delivered. My dad's spinach salad was underwhelming, overdressed with a balsamic that was too sharp and overpowered everything else. My ribeye was the disappointment. At $65 I expected better. It was thin, closer to pounded than what you'd expect from the cut, came out medium instead of medium rare, and didn't feel substantial for the price. The baked potato was a basic side, sour cream and onion, nothing more. The broccolini arrived at room temperature, borderline cold, which was unexpected. The au jus on the side didn't add much for me. Service was attentive but veered into overdone territory, the kind of performative politeness that signals they want a good tip more than they're genuinely being warm. It was noticeable. Also worth knowing: if you're seated near the windows, the afternoon sun can be blinding depending on when you go. The atmosphere is genuinely nice and this place works better as a brunch spot than a special occasion dinner destination. I've had better meals here before, which is why I know they can do better. One practical note: if you're parking in the disabled spots near the leasing center next door, the sidewalk doesn't connect to the restaurant entrance. You'll need to go through the parking lot to get there.

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. We have never got offered free drinks or anything complimentary for attracting a crowd or bringing friends. Everywhere else, this is usual when attracting customers for a bar. Too much staff...
