Great service, food was soooooo good. The vibe was definitely there. The server was easy to talk to and even asked if she could recommend a mimosa for me, I said yes. It was great. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Would recommend to everyone.

We had a group of 6 that visited Sheila B'Z last minute. Our group was accommodated, the food was amazing and the owner made our experience worthwhile. We are planning a return trip so we can try other things on the menu, the food was that good.

I haven't been here in a longtime and what a shame! I have ordered thru other means. The ambiance is really nice and relaxing. We had great service from the owner! Pictured is the Philly Cheesesteak that my friend said that it was delicious. I had the Salmon Omelette, potatoes and Wheat toast (and sweet tea ). I originally wanted fish/grits, but they only offer it on the weekend (Saturday/Sunday). The omelette was huge and absolutely mouthwatering. Soooo much salmon and seasoned well! Definitely more than I've had at other places. The potatoes were cooked with the right amount of crispness and were great! I will definitely return for the "chill" atmosphere and the fish/grits

After a community service event we all met at this restaurant. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by staff. We were seated and the staff were very polite and friendly. We all ordered buffet style breakfast. The breakfast consists of potatoes, French toast, waffles, pancakes, eggs and fried chicken. The potatoes were flavorful and eggs were fluffy. The French toast, waffle and pancake was fluffy and delicious. The fried chicken was the star of the meal. The chicken was cooked to perfection and very delicious. The ambiance was customer friendly. This is a nice place for breakfast or lunch.

Stopped by & ordered fish & chips. Four big pieces, pipping hot (almost burnt myself), and some good crispy fries. Comes with a chipotle tartar sauce or something. I liked the sauce. Fish was seasoned & fried to perfection. Fish & fries was $16. Definitely worth price for amount of food. Loved it! I'll be back for more.

Stopped in with my Sis to grab brunch. Was super undecided because the menu had good options. Settled on a two way combo of fish and shrimp. It did not disappoint! My Sis had a two way with chicken and fish and we both had a huckleberry mimosa which were delicious! Those were recommended by our server and it was a good suggestion. Back to this food, everything tasted fresh, well seasoned even the fries! Everything was hot, definitely just came out the grease (which did not taste like old grease)! Can't wait to go back and work my way thru the menu.

My sweetie and I arrived at opening this morning and upon entering it was clean, had our choice on seating and greeted by the youngest of the 3 sisters who took our beverage order we ordered the grits(tastefully seasoned and garnished to complement & not to compensate/flavor). I had the fried Basa the coating was crispy like chicken and the meat of the fish was perfectly tender. My sweetie had the maple sausage they were aromatic and well done but tender........ Don't let me miss stating that the price point is definitely reasonable and portions totally fulfilling(we were out and about then back home up the highway 8hrs later). They recently celebrated their 1yr business anniversary we're prayerful that their business flourishes exponentially!

I was searching for a good place to take our graduate to for brunch while in town for her graduation. We found this place on yelp and when I tell you it didn't disappoint! The food was amazing, service was great and the restaurant was beautiful! I had the 3 way basket, my husband had the chicken sliders which he loved and our daughter had chicken fingers and fries! We also enjoyed the drinks and would definitely come back if we're in the area! We did a Togo order for my mother n love which was the three way as well she just called me this morning to tell me how much she loved the food!

Loved getting to try a Black owned business. The owner was our server and sat us as soon as we walked in. Got us drinks, took our order quickly. The 3 way plate is huge and the waffle for the chicken and waffles was good too. My only thing was the food was a bit salty. If I had to guess, the cook was using a seasoning with salt in it and then adding salt as well. I couldn't finish my side of potatoes because ketchup wasn't helping. The chicken wasn't too salty but my friends fish was hard to eat without lots of water and ketchup as well. The place was super cute though with instagram worthy decor and photo spots.

If I knew I would have sent my plate back for them to fix it. No complaint about the service. Our waitress was very helpful attentive, although should be trained to talk about up charges on anything on their menu. My other concern is that the plates that they serve on are made of Mexican pottery clay and were very porous I know some clay pottery had a problem with lead poisoning exposure I'm just saying on the other hand the atmosphere is chill and facility is clean located downtown Stockton right by the movie theaters I always like to mention in my Post about the facility and the cleanliness. I guess she liked that they came stacked high with all kinds of stuff. I couldn't find anything that really spoke to me. I generally want a simpler kind of dish. Not a big fan of places that dress their dishes up with things like pickled onions and mystery house sauces. So I got a burger, hoping it would be a big juicy not over cooked burger like you used to be able to get. I had to customize it a lot though. You always have to cross your finger that they will get it right when you do that. Well she liked her tacos and my burger was ok. Not worth the money. Expensive place for every day food that's just sort of dressed up with stuff you can do without. Quality was generally good. Kind of a dumpy lot to be located in, but that's Stockton for ya. I don't remember much about the service or the ambiance so they must have been ok. Probably not going back tho. I can get a better burger with less fuss for a better price just about anywhere. That said, you don't go to these types of places for a burger, you get them when you're dragged there. All in all, I wish that there were more family owned operations locally that just had good food and good prices and good service. Too many places that are either complete garbage or trying to be super high end in basically run down towns.

The sandwich was thick with the juiciest chicken. I loved the garlic fries. They were super garlicky with a crispy cheese on top. The fries are thin and crinkle cut. They were the perfect mix of crispy yet juicy. One thing to note, if you order for pickup, make sure to arrive promptly because the food can get pretty soggy otherwise. The side sauce was pretty good too. I wish there was an online substitution option though because I'd prefer something like ranch instead. This spot's prices are a touch higher compared to restaurants in the area but the quality and portions really justify it. The employees are incredibly kind. When I stopped by to pickup my order, there was an employee cleaning the outside patio who immediately stopped what she was doing to open the door for me, went inside and washed her hands before even handing me the bag. The small details like this really make the experience so much better. It is especially reassuring to see how sanitary they are here too. Despite looking a bit small from the outside, it it quite spacious and modern inside. It has that modern hipster restaurant feel. On a warm day, it would be nice to sit under their covered patio. I will be returning to try more of their menu!

One and Done - Disappointing Experience at Midtown Crepes…read more We won't be going back to Midtown Crepes after a truly frustrating experience. The food was disappointing across the board, but what really sealed it was the complete lack of communication from the kitchen. They substituted two different sauces for sausage gravy without telling us -- one of them was a mushroom sauce poured all over my wife's crepe, which she specifically asked to have on the side. She hates mushrooms, and her meal was completely ruined. The "smothered beignets" came drenched in a strange white wine sauce -- again, no warning or explanation. My mother-in-law's crepe had a bunch of extra ingredients that weren't listed on the menu, and it completely threw off the dish and ruined her breakfast as well. The crepes themselves were thick and rubbery, more like tortillas than the thin, delicate crepes you'd expect. We ordered regular beignets as a starter, but they didn't arrive until after the rest of the meals, making them feel like an afterthought. To top it off, my sister-in-law's pancakes were ice cold -- so much so they wouldn't even melt the butter. Service was just as underwhelming. It took our waitress three separate visits to remember lemons for our water. No apologies, no explanations -- just slow and inattentive. There are too many great places to eat in Stockton to waste a meal here. Midtown Crepes seriously missed the mark.
