Price was good for the portion they serve. We got the Chicken floutas and I got the Chili Colorado. Wasn't busy at the time, so food came pretty quick. Gave a 3 star for my Chili Colorado. It was the very first thing to come out, then the Floutas, then waaaaaaaay later the flour tortillas. The plates were really hot, but the beef was just warm and some parts were actually still cold, it was a bit too salty as well. Would I go back? Definitely, just won't be rushing there like it's a "must have".. Will definitely not order the Chili Colorado again. This is probably one of the best Mexican food spots I have had in a long time. This is small hole in the wall spot which is probably why it's soooo good. You walk in and have to order at the front, and seat yourself. The wall has all the menu items with pictures and prices plus specials written out by the register. Once you order and get your number you are free to get salsas at the salsa bar. The food came out fairly quickly for the stews we ordered. Fresh made tortillas with carne en su jugo and the birria. Carne en su jugo was 10/10, it had so much meat and bacon with green onions it was to die for. It comes with a side of onion, cilantro, avocado and lime to add to your liking. The birria looked amazing and came with the same sides to add. We asked for jalapeños to add and they served them super quickly. The food was delicious and service was super friendly. I normally order this on DoorDash, so I can't give a review on actual service. Each time I've ordered the food is always great and flavorful. I've had no complaints at all. I almost always get the ceviche with whatever else I order and it's always great and fresh tasting. DoorDash order says it's for 2 tostadas but there's way more ceviche given for 2 tostadas, so my only complaint is maybe more than 2 tostadas shells packed?? I've been eating there for years and have never had an issue. They've always been nice. Even if they got my order wrong, they fixed it with no issues at all. Today was a bad experience. I dont know if it was a bad day, but the worker with the glasses and blonde/dark brown black hair (mid sized) was very rude to me. She hesitated to let my mom see a nick nack that was displayed, which is completely understandable. My mom left to not cause any conflict while I waited for my order. ​I saw her shaking her head and making comments at the cook. I asked her for a refund because at that point I didn't feel comfortable eating from there. I told her why, her being rude/messy, etc. and she waved her hand in my face multiple times and told me "keep my opinion to myself". She could have at least waited until I left to talk about my mom and make comments. Her and I didnt have any issue until then. Especially because they sent extra chips in a separate bag (maybe every order gets extra chips!). So I was able to use those to eat most of my nachos. They come with a layer of beans at the very bottom which was a perfect addition. I think a bit more cheese would have been made it better. Fish taco was actually grilled fish. They did not use fresh meat on my super nachos but instead made it with the leftover dried, crispy, over-cooked meat at the bottom of the pan. It was too oily and very bad. NEVER AGAIN.
