5 visits so far; OMG the food, it's great. The portions are large and present well. The only killer is the wait times. It's a very small kitchen and only one cook. All the personal there are great. When I first walked into this restaurant, I was greeted so kindly and with such genuine enthusiasm. I was invited to sit wherever I liked, and from that moment on, the service was exceptional. My waitress, Diana, was truly outstanding attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. She even substituted a mimosa for regular orange juice so I could still enjoy the cotton candy garnish on top "candy cloud", such a thoughtful touch! The restaurant itself is absolutely adorable, decorated with a fun, nostalgic diner vibe. I loved the classic booths, the counter stools, and all the charming photos on the walls. Diana mentioned the decorations in the other room, so of course I had to check them out and take some pictures! Everything was just too cute not to! Now, let's talk about the food! I ordered the tres leches specialty waffle with two pieces of bacon, two pieces of sausage, and two over-medium eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly. The waffle was so flavorful it didn't even need syrup, and the coffee was excellent, smooth, rich, and never bitter. Diana kept my cup full without me even having to ask. She truly seems to love what she does, and it shows in the way she treats her guests. I am a sucker for chicken and waffles so that is what I opted for that. I asked for berries on the side ($5 more) which came with blueberries, strawberries and bananas. The old school diner feel to this place is awesome. It's got a diner countertop in the front of the restaurant, then a dining room area with plenty of tables, a bunch to accommodate different size groups/parties. To touch more on the old school diner feel, they've got that bubble type leather seating, a jukebox (which I think was just decorative, not real, but still cool), photos of Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean everywhere, and even a place you can take photos at. The many has a nice selection, you can do breakfast or lunch. Breakfast has a 2 eggs with protein type section, omelettes, waffles, pancakes, etc. We tried a lot. Country fried steak which was good. I've seen her competently handle a rush that would leave another waitress panicked and overwhelmed. Another thing that helps this place is that it has a counter. For many people this can make a difference when eating by themselves. When you're by yourself, it's just pleasant. But sometimes a conversation will start with someone else at the counter. OK, first of all let me say that this is the first time we have ever been to this place even though I was told that this place has been here for a while so we decided to try it out this time we had breakfast. I had my usual chicken, fried steak and eggs with the pancake And my wife had an omelette overall I say it's pretty good. Their country potatoes were actually better than the hashbrowns to me and usually for me it's the other way around so that was the difference Service here was excellent. The lady that helped us was very nice. Ambience was very good. I like the 50 style diner look Will be back soon to try out the lunch so I can raise the stars up so if you're in the area, try it out let us know what you think. The food was bland and uninspired. I hate cooked bell peppers and always look to make sure none are listed as ingredients in whatever I order. Upon trying the country potatoes (which were undercooked due to size probably) I found a few large pieces of cooked bell peppers which didn't look like they belonged so apparently they mix food while cooking. Biscuits and gravy are no more than heavy biscuits with white gravy heavily peppered don't expect sausage. The omelette was light on eggs, sausage was sliced sausage links not ground sausage like most places have. The hash browns were overcooked to the point just short of burnt, no butter was included for the toast. The best part of the meal was the side of French toast. Since we ordered to go, it's pointless to go and complain but Yelp will do. Not recommended for anyone who likes seasoning in food. read more

Hello, We came by for breakfast on October 18. During our last visit, there was no check-in table, but this time, a lady with long reddish hair and glasses asked us to check in on the tablet, which we did. I noticed a few open tables inside and thought the wait would only be a few minutes, so we decided to stay indoors. A few moments later, the same lady approached us again and told us to wait outside or in our car. The way she said it came across as rather rude. I've been coming to this restaurant for quite some time, and the staff are usually very kind and helpful. I haven't seen this lady before, and I hope she isn't the owner, because that interaction was disappointing. She could have simply said something like, "Please sign in and wait outside, as there are other parties ahead of you." I didn't realize there were others waiting since there were several open tables. Unfortunately, we decided to leave and go somewhere else. I hope she can be more approachable in the future. read more
