Great dining area that was clean and welcoming, fantastic staff and some of the best Thai food We've ever had. I ordered the Taste of Thai mixed appetizer and my husband ordered the hibachi chicken. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything was very good. The reason I am giving it one star is because after we looked at our bank statement two days later we realize that they had added on an extra $24.78 to the tip after the fact. Our total bill was $28.25. My husband left a tip of $8.75 (Over 30%) bringing our total that we paid to $37.00 but they charged us $61.78. I have added a photo of the price of our food from their website and also a screenshot of our bank app showing the $61.78 charge and the $24.78 reimbursement. This dish has several names, including Lao Laska, which is the name I used to order it the first time, at a Chapel Hill restaurant called Merilon, sadly no more! There are different version, of course, since this spicy noodle dish is served not only in Laos, but also in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, and The USA. It is served at 18 Malaysia in Winston, where it is shown on the menu as Malaysia Curry Noodle Soup, and I have eaten this dish at this restaurant quite a few times.
