I ordered online and was given an estimated pick up time. However, our order was not ready by the estimated time. When we got there, our order wasn't even prepared yet, so we ended up waiting quite a bit. I do appreciate the convenience of online ordering though. The great thing about this place is that the portions are huge. We were shocked by the generous amount of food in our poke bowls. There is also a decent variety of bases, protein scoops, sauces, and toppings to customize each bowl. Their ahi tuna and salmon tasted fresh. For toppings, I would recommend adding cucumber, edamame, masago, crab salad, seaweed salad, furikake, and crispy onion. I started coming here about 8 months ago, maybe even longer, and I've always loved the variety of fish, the different styles, and the overall quality. Unfortunately, recently it seems like the owners or whoever makes these decisions have decided to cut back on the protein portion sizes. Before, the scoops were a good size. Now the scoop itself is noticeably smaller, and sometimes you'll get one scoop plus only another cube or two of fish. The prices haven't gone down, though, so you're essentially paying the same amount for less food. I've also noticed the employees are being required to track the portions on a notepad. Personally, I'd rather you charge me a little more than quietly give me less fish for the same price I was originally paying. The quality is still great, but reducing portions like this definitely makes the value feel worse. On a positive note, I absolutely love the little lady with the glasses. She is wonderful and always makes our experience so pleasant. She's a big reason we enjoy coming back. read more

I've been coming here since this location opened, and while the customer service has never been amazing, I continued coming back because I genuinely enjoy the food. Unfortunately, today's experience was the last straw for me. A few weeks ago, I ordered a miso soup while dining in and realized it was cold. I politely asked if there was any way it could be heated up, and I was simply told no. I understood and told them it was okay and that I would just take it home, but the interaction left me feeling dismissed. As someone who also works in customer service, if a regular customer kindly let me know something was cold, I would apologize and try to find a solution or offer a replacement. Today, my mom came in to order a bowl for herself and a mini krab salad bowl for me, along with a miso soup. My mom doesn't speak English very well and sometimes struggles with pronunciation, so I text her exactly what I want so she can show the employee if needed. I understand that looking at a phone order during a rush may be inconvenient, but customer service and patience are important, especially when helping someone who is trying their best to communicate. My mom felt like the employees barely looked at the phone and weren't very attentive. There was also some confusion with my order. Instead of adding the krab salad protein for the mini krab salad bowl, the imitation crab was added from the sides section instead. Mistakes happen and that's understandable. When my mom pointed it out, the employee offered to remake the bowl, but my mom said it was okay and asked if the krab salad could simply be added on top instead. The employee explained that this would count as extra protein and would require an additional charge, so she removed the crab that had already been added and replaced it with the krab salad instead. While I understand policies are policies, I personally felt that since it was an honest mistake, leaving the original crab in the bowl and adding the correct item would have been a kind gesture. When my mom got home, we also realized the miso soup was missing from the order entirely. We weren't given a receipt, so we're not even sure whether we were charged for it or not. I've supported this location since it opened and have continued coming back because I enjoy the food, which makes this disappointing to write. I really hope management can work on improving the customer service experience because the food deserves better. read more

Came here as my wife and I were in the are and we we're pretty happy with our experience. We ordered online about 15 minutes before arriving and when we arrived, they just started working on our orders. Wild it was moderately busy, I expected the order to be done or almost done but that was not the case. Ended up waiting a bit extra but that understandable. Order aside, ingredients and portions are quite tremendous. If you order half and half, it feels like 70% rice + 50% greens, a nice sight to see as they're quite generous with the portions. You can't really go wrong with any combination here and that's what I felt like as my wife and I had a customized bowl. Interior is clean and staff is quite friendly. Plus points for the staff being quick and precise with the order. They seem like they check every order with lots of detail so customer satisfaction is quite nice here. There's other locations nearby but this one was quite the standout, definitely coming back here whenever I'm in Riverside again. read more

I was impressed with the display and the amount of shrimp I was given and size. Wow. The first bite was amazing. All the different flavors just mingling together in my mouth. It was an explosion of happiness on my tongue. The noodles were cooked so good they just melted. The greens, oof, don't get me started on those. Soooo good. Very excited to have another poke place open up in town! They currently have a promo for a free drink since they just opened! I got the guava drink and it tastes exactly like those guava candies. They have a lot of protein options, not just your basic salmon, tuna, shrimp etc. Not only do they have poke bowls, they also offer a lot of handrolls and musubis!
