I tried the steak chimichurri sandwich and the prosciutto shandhwhich, both were good but the steak one was amazing. The tomato soup tasted for sure like it was made from scratch, super flavorful! Everything I'm walking around Victoria Gardens this place is always packed. It was.my understanding that this is a healthier type option for food. So we came here on valentines day an hour or 2 before they closed and there was no line!! They have seating outside but it was dark and cold. Fortunately we were able to find seating inside at the high top. We ordered 2 sandwiches. Their turkey avo salsa verde and farm club. Food came out in about 15 or so minutes. They were both OK. Had their own unique flavors. They have different options for their breads. Turkey avo came with a spicy salsa on the side. Farm club was good too. They mainly do sandwiches, salads and soups. Fresh and great tasting sandwiches! The staff wasn't as friendly as I hoped. The cashier seemed like she did not like her job. She wasn't mean but it wasn't the best experience. Everyone else was kind and friendly. Being it was our first time(my friend and I) we wanted recommendations and/or advice on what we can order. Nothing. This Rancho Cucamonga Mendocino Farms is part of the outdoor mall. It is a casual, healthy, fun and relaxed restaurant with a tasty and light menu, great team members and a nice and casual atmosphere. Eric welcomed us at the counter and took our order. He was very professional and courteous. The fantastic Camila brought us out the salads and came right back with extra limes and salad dressing( did not charge us for the two containers). Vic was all smiles as he picked up all the dishes and spoke to us for a bit excited that he was going to NYC for the first time in November. Our salads were great. The Peruvian steak sand is huge!! And messy, but delicious!!! 5 stars for flavor, juicy, softness of the roll and size alone! In grave contrasts to the size of the sandwich the small side of potato salad was tiny, but honestly after eating only half of the sandwich I thought the small side was perfect size. The potato salad was delicious but I would say only if you love mustard flavored and dill flavored foods which I do! The service was great, the friendly gentleman cleaning tables stopped when he saw I was looking around to pick up my mobile order, thank you kind sir! I have never been a big sandwich person. In fact, when one of my friends first told me about Mendocino Farms years ago, I responded, "How can it be? It's just a sandwich." I would live to eat those words, literally. Over the years, I've tried many of their locations and indulged in their delicious sandwiches. I can never get enough of the seasonal sandwiches, especially the November to Remember that comes out, you guess it, in November. This was my first time at the Victoria Garden's location. I didn't remember seeing one here before and was thrilled when I saw it this time. My daughter and I didn't care what else was there; once we saw "Mendo" we knew we wanted it. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent, as per usual, but the outdoor seating was amazing. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. We sat in the sun and enjoyed our sandwiches and the views of the mountains and beautifully scenic streets. It was perfect. read more

Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada - (avocado, roasted corn, black beans, jicama, grape tomatoes, red onions, quinoa & millet, superfood krunchies, kale, romaine, cilantro, cotija, chipotle vinaigrette) I've had this salad a long time ago and remembered enjoying it, so since I'm eating clean for January, I've decided to reorder this. Surprisingly, I did not really like it. There were many good ingredients in it, but all I remember is the superfood crunchies: quinoa and millet that has been flash-fried. I did not know about this until later or I would have not ordered it to avoid fried foods. The quinoa and millet were super crunchy and personally, I didn't care for it. It was overly crunchy along with the romaine lettuce. I never thought I would complain about crunchy foods, but it was overkill. The dressing is what should bring the whole salad together. But I didn't love the chipotle vinaigrette. Lightly spicy and smokiness to it, but I didn't think it went well with the salad and all its components, a creamier sauce would have been better. Maybe tahini-based or a savory, tangy, tomato-based vinaigrette. Thankfully the dressing on this salad was lightly dressed and you can still taste the freshness of the salad ingredients. Overall, salad was aesthetically presented well and it was more than enough to bring leftovers. Lemon Chicken & Farro Soup - (a hearty chicken soup with whole-grain farro, carrot, celery, onion, baby spinach, lemon) This was good as usual. I got a cup, which is a good portion for those who just want soup only! Love that this soup was loaded with chicken, farro and all the vegetables! Very warming and delicious! I still think their tomato basil is the best, but this is my second favorite! Ambiance - I ate outdoors and it was a bit dirty. There were three tables that weren't completely cleaned. There were some leftover food particles lying there staring back at you. The trash bin was already full and I felt gross trying to shove the rest of the used napkins down the trash bin. As I was leaving, a staff member did come out to wipe down the tables. Hopefully, they took out the trash too! Customer Service - Not super friendly, but okay overall. Could be better. I was so excited to read that Mendocino Farms (MF) opened up a location at Victoria Gardens (VG) in Rancho Cucamonga (RC). What wonderful news! Yay! My first ever visit to MF was in Pasadena. I enjoyed what I ordered last time. I had to come check out MF at VG in RC. It's located at a corner space of Monet Ave and S Main Street which is very nice for everyone passing by to see them. They have great amount of outside patio and inside dining space. Really high ceiling and bright lighting inside. Refillable drinks plus a huge water station that you can't miss... cool! Dine-in, order to-go, pick-up, delivery, and catering are all at your fingertips... you have options! Super friendly and helpful staff. Thank you miss for the great recommendations! I got 3 items to-go. I will rank them in the order of my most preferred to least preferred. 1. The Farm Club - So yummy! Its delicious creation came with layers of roasted turkey breast slices, smoked bacon bits, fresh mixed greens + tomatoes, pickled onions, smashed avocado, herb aioli on a seeded whole wheat bread. I got the avocado and herb aioli on the side since I wasn't eating it right away. I didn't want to get home and find a mushy sandwich. 2. Spicy Curried Couscous (large) - This is a must get every time. Love that its spicy curried inspired... so good! Large please!! 3. Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada - I was so looking forward to liking this one, but the quinoa was a bit dry and the dressing was just okay. The chicken I had added was a bit dry, too. I'm thrilled that Mendocino Farms has opened at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga! I love grabbing takeout after the gym, and the service is always quick with super friendly staff. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, and the place is super clean. Once, they forgot my dressing, but when I called, the manager, Lawyer, was so apologetic and mailed me a meal coupons--what a pleasant surprise! I'm writing this review from my experience last Friday, which happened to be best friend's day & they had a BOGO deal if purchased on the app. I downloaded the app and made my purchase, which was easy to do. When I got there to pick up my order, I noticed they were very busy. Maybe because it was a Friday night? Or maybe it was because of their BOGO deal? When I arrived to pick up my order, I noticed it wasn't ready. I didn't want to wait inside because it was so crowded with all the people waiting for their order. I came back in 5 minutes & I heard them call my name. My family and I were able to get seating in the outside patio. My parents split a sandwich (the not so fried sandwich) & they really enjoyed it. my mom said it had a crispy, crunchy texture to the chicken. They also enjoyed the potato salad, however, I did not really enjoy it because it was Oaxacan style. I ordered the farm style sandwich, which was good but very full on the inside so as I was eating it, everything kept falling out. My side was the basil pesto shell pasta. The flavor is very strong in basil so I liked it. This restaurant has a cool, chill vibe to it. It just so happened to be that we visited on a very busy Friday evening. I had such a great experience here the other day. I ordered online via app and dined in. Order was ready at the time shown in app. There's lots of seating, although the chairs aren't super comfy. The interior is clean and brightly lit. The manager was super friendly and welcoming and even told us we were welcome to try out the beverages free of charge. It was so nice of her! I loved the pomegranate mint in particular. The mint comes through very nicely. There's a different salad each week available for only $10 as part of their salad month promotion. I'd recommend signing up for their app and email list so you can keep up with the weekly offerings. The avocado quinoa was so good! I was surprised by how big the bowl was. I'm not sure if the superfood crunchies are fried or baked but they're delicious. Very crispy and flavorful and not at all stale or greasy like salad toppers can sometimes be. Wow, what a place for sandwiches. I thought the last place I had was good but this is place sandwich is on a different level. I learned that this is a chain and there are some in other cities, but my first time here was fantastic. You go in line and order before you sit down, the only thing I was a bit disappointed was the kids meal sides and drinks. You can only have a drink that they make or water or milk. The sides were green apples. If only there would be one or two more alternatives, it would make this place for me that much better. We tried the Caesar Salad, the Chicken and Prosciutto, and the Chimichurri Steak, they were so good! The steak sandwich had these sweet onions that tasted so good w the rest of the sandwich with a toasted sesame bun. The chicken has these nuts I think were almond that was sweet that brought a nice aromatic flavor to the sandwich. My favorite drink they had was the Pomegranate Mint Lemonade. IT WAS SO GOOD. I thought the kids pizza was a bit dry, and just know that it is bread that the cheese and pepperoni pizza is on, not traditional pizza. The staff were really nice and there is outdoor and indoor seating. It looked very modern, and it is a nice dine in experience. This will now be my go to place if I visit Victoria Gardens. The place looks clean and spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. Simple modern decor with their blue cows peaking out from above the kitchen. They surprisingly weren't extremely busy when I was there. The food was amazing! It felt like a soup and salad day, so I opted for the Thai Sweet Potato Soup which wasn't as thick as it appeared in the photo in the app, but was tasty and had a little spice to it. The Chef's Special Winter Citrus and Goat Cheese Salad was phenomenal! It came with a vinaigrette dressing on the side, but it honestly had so much flavor it didn't need it! LOVED the packaging! I'm a big Mendocino Farms fan, so I was super excited when I found out one had opened at Victoria Gardens. Came in to place an order to go a little while back and I was just very glad I opted with Mendocino for our food that day. Came in and ordered my food and waited patiently for it to be prepared. They let me know the WiFi password so I was able to work while I waited for my order. Service - Super friendly and patient...I had to take orders over the phone while putting it together. I made sure there wasn't anyone in line behind me, so they were pretty cool about it. Parking - Victoria Gardens parking can be pretty tough, esp if you wanna park nearby. I had to circle around a couple times to be within a couple minute walk of the place, but if you need the steps, just park out in the further parts of the lot and you should be okay. read more

What truly stood out, though, was the service. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The manager regularly checked in on customers and made sure everyone was satisfied. When I was a bit confused about how to sort and return my tray, the manager immediately noticed and had someone assist me. That level of attentiveness really made a difference. Finally a Mendocino Farms in the IE!!! For years, Mendocino Farms has been my favorite sandwich shop and, until now, I had to be in the OC, LA, or SD to enjoy it. It's nice to finally have one in my own back yard. Admittedly, I was a little concerned that the quality might not be there. I was hesitant to go on opening day because there are usually glitches that need to be worked out. Suffice it to say my excitement got the better of me and I'm glad it did... this location is legit! I feel like this particular spot at VG's has been a dozen stores / restaurants over the years... none of which were particularly interesting... so I'd never actually been in the space. I'm not sure what it looked like before, but Mendocino Farms did a great job making it their own. It feels very fresh, clean and modern... I'd even venture to say it feels a bit upscale. The touch screen menus are a nice touch. The staff is incredibly friendly. It sounds corny but you could feel the first day excitement and honestly it was a bit contagious. More importantly, they know what they're doing. I was trying to manage my expectations and fully expected to see a host of issues which is the norm for new openings. Honestly, it's like they've been open for forever. My order was kind of complicated (I try not to be that person but I needed to make sure this location checked out). Everything came back exactly as I ordered. Most importantly, the food definitely met the standard long set by Mendocino Farms. Everything was fresh and delicious. I ordered the chimichurri steak and bacon. Not my typical order (my go to is the Happy Hippie) but I figured new location, I should try something new. Top tier! It was so good. Rounded that off with a pomegranate mint lemonade and, of course, the famous curry couscous salad. I also ordered the superfood salad to go which I'll likely take to the office for lunch tomorrow. Wasn't too impressed with the pepperoni melt, felt like you can just DIY at home and have it taste better. Sandwich size is a bit small for the price. Good option for when you are looking for a fresh and different sandwich than your regular sandwich chain. Service was good and staff was helpful. Not sure I'll be back though.
