I think they may need to change the name of this darling hidden garden on Canyon Road to Ahmyo Wine & Music Garden. It is such a fun spot to relax with a glass of wine and a cheese board while you listen to delightful local music. The owner, Freddie Schwartz and his sweet wife are always there looking after you and often Freddie is singing too. We dropped by last night for the Saturday Open Mike Night and had a great time. It's a hidden gem off Canyon road...you have to walk through a cute women's clothing and accessories shop to the rear before you get to the wine garden, but it's worth it! They have a nice selection of wines and they also serve beers as well as nonalcoholic beverages. I personally like the frozen rose! There is also a cheeseboard and a charcuterie board to accompany your drinks, plus some sandwiches and desserts! The key lime pie is decadent and delicious! It is truly a beautiful garden and we love the space -- inside and out! As others have said, it is truly a hidden gem. There is a spot for everyone in this venue. You can be in the middle of the activity with with music and the Santa Fe vibe, or sneak away to a private bench in the back of the garden where music floats and serenity grounds you, or you can sit inside, experiencing the tasting room ambiance. We considered this location for our wedding and if our party was smaller, the venue would have been our top choice. They have a building between the gardens and sitting area that can be used for serving or seating. No need to bring in tables and chairs if you want to use their facilities. They provide and serve the local wines of New Mexico. And they have a large list of local musicians to match your event vision. The owner is making investments to make this venue a lovely place for any large gathering. We highly recommend them for an event as large as 50-60 people. read more

Beware the Gouda cheese. There was a shard of plastic in our Gouda cheese that we ordered, and I chomped right into it, almost breaking a tooth. I let the bartender know but they didn't do anything about it. I don't know what I expected them to do but it was a bummer they didn't offer any thing. Besides that, it was a good experience. I was disappointed about the mishap. It wasn't their fault, it was the cheese manufacturer's, but the fact that they didn't offer any sort of solution was disappointing as well. read more

This is my new favorite wine spot in Santa Fe, and that's saying something. It's behind a lovely art gallery that had many tempting things. There's outdoor seating in the garden, which has several fruit trees. The owner invited me to take some pears, which I did. The wine selections were delicious and not to expensive. And they have several small puzzles and art supplies. My husband and I spent quite a bit of time enjoying the breeze blowing through and sipping our wine while I put together puzzles and he painted. read more

I love this place the wine from Vivac winery is delicious but the food is questionable. We had the shrimp salad which was $20 and it was horrible. The lettuce was wilted and the shrimp was overcooked. Very disappointing will eat somewhere else next time. We call this the "Secret Garden" because it is so beautiful! You walk through an art gallery and find yourself in a wine tasting room after you order your wine or beer you meander on the lovely trails or find a table under an umbrella. What an awesome find. My two friends and I were enjoying the wonderful galleries on Canyon Road. We came upon the wonderful Ahmyo Gallery filled with art, jewelry, and accessories. The real gem was the wine bar in the back. All of the the people were so friendly especially Sydney with her wine tasting suggestions. We Also enjoyed a light lunch, very fresh and delicious!
