Alanis does great eyelash extensions! She's been doing my lashes for over a year now and I would never go to anybody else! She's very experienced and she's got a great "eye" for it ;) Not only is she quick but she is also thorough. She knows exactly what looks best on me! The extensions stay on for longer than a month before requiring a touch up and I'm not that careful in maintaining it. I get them really wet when I shower and wash my face. If I'm more careful, they will last even longer! I get many compliments on my lashes. Alanis makes them look very natural. The lashes are perfectly placed and not crooked like how some other people have done it. A lot of people can't even tell I have extensions on until they get close to me and realize no Asian girl has lashes that long! I am a stay-at-home mom with 2 young children. I barely have time to shower nonetheless put on any make up. Let's just say I look like a train wreak on my good days. That's why I luv the extensions! They make my eyes pop and give me an awake look that is normally only achieved with lots of concealer, mascara, and eyeliner. Lastly, Alanis is super fun and sweet. I've never been able to wear fake lashes. They irritate the skin on my eye lids. I have long lashes but their blonde so it takes forever for mascara. LONG OVERDUE REVIEW!! So I've been coming to Lashify for a good 5 months now I believe. And if you were like me, you were probably scrolling through every lash place near you to check out where to go and compare pricing and reviews.. LOOK NO MORE AND JUST COME HERE! When I was first started with lash extensions I was horrified! People always have mixed feelings about lashes and I was worried it would ruin my lashes or it wouldn't turn out the way I wanted it to or it would be too expensive. Well don't worry because I am here to help! For me PERSONALLY, I never had a ton of lashes to start off with. They weren't horrible, but they just were not how I wanted them to look. I tried all different home remedy growth tips for my lashes, but I was always very impatient and I hated waiting for my natural lashes to grow. I wore strip lashes very often and it was just so much work and took way too long. Finally, I decided I was going to get lash extensions because I have been wanting them for so long and I just didn't want to continue applying strip lashes everyday. Finally, after looking through a ton of Yelp reviews, I found Lashify. At first I went to Lashify because it was the cheapest Lash Service that I could find that was somewhat near my school in Anaheim. The Yelp Reviews also weren't horrible, so I took my chances. My first time at Lashify, the place was small and honestly not extremely comfortable. I forgot the name of my first lash technician, but she was alright. She made my lashes a little too long and was a little impatient when I told her they were too long. The experience just felt really long and grueling and just wasn't my cup of tea.The pricing was okay, it was $85 but I just thought the service and outcome was sub par. Admittedly getting lash extensions did make my life 20x easier. I later on went to a ton of other lash places. They were always super expensive and in the end, I just didn't want to invest so much. So, once again, I went to the cheapest place I knew, Lashify. THANK GOD I gave it a second chance because I definitely didn't regret it. I looked through Yelp and saw that it seemed as if Mia and Alanis did a lot of work on many peoples' lashes and all of them seemed very satisfied. So, I booked Mia and it was AMAZING. She surprised me so much because she was so quick with the extensions and did such a great job. Since then, I have been booking Mia as my technician. She is so sweet, patient, and nice and as long as you show her a picture of what you want or describe it, she will do it for you. As you can see, she has done many type of lashes on me from natural to dramatic. One disclaimer is that my eyes do burn sometimes during the process. I've noticed that a few of my friends have also felt the burn in their eyes during getting extensions so maybe it is normal. I'm not sure, but the pain is not unbearable for me, so it is fine LOL. My point being if you don't want to spend a ton of money but still want great quality and service, go to Lashify and book Mia. I love her! Hope this helped. After many years of wearing strip eyelashes, I barely have any natural eye lashes. I've been to other eye lash places before, but lashes 101 did an amazing job on my eyelashes. Before putting on eyelashes everyone should first do their research on eyelash extensions and proper after care. The first thing you should know is the LOOK you're looking for when it comes to lashes ... natural .. dramatic .. cat eye, etc. The technicians will work with you but you have to be very specific and actually know the look you're trying to attain. Your overall look will also depend on your eye shape and how much natural eyelashes you have. For me, because I look like I'm sleepy without eyelashes, I wanted something that would make my eyes pop. Prices vary on the type of lashes you want (mink vs regular eyelash extensions) A full set of eyelash extensions will cost you $85, but I think the prices are more than fair considering the average price for eyelash extensions begin at $150 and can range up to $400. After care of your eyelashes is important, and will eventually affect how long you will need until a refill. The cost of refills can range differently depending how many days it has been since your initial appointment, but I think prices are very fair. Finally Alanis Yelp page is up! I've been going to her for a while so I'm glad I can write a review now. My friends told me to go Alanis and how they got theirs done by her. She is talkative and very sweet, you won't even notice how much time passes by. My lashes looked very natural, didn't hurt when I blinked. Surprisingly, it took a while before I saw any fallout which is good. About my eyes, I'm slightly monolid and my eyes arent that wide so I usually have to use dramatic falsie to have anything show up. I got mine done with semi medium to full look. When I first walked in there to get my eyelash extensions for the first time they didn't really explain to me how to take care of them , a lady will text you right when you book an appointment a list on how to take care of them but don't really go over it with you when you're there. I got my lashes done and for the first day it looked amazing but once I hit the 4th day my lashes started coming off little by little. I called them back & let them know that my lashes are coming off & they did tell me that I wasn't the only person to call & complain & it was the glue so to come back and they'll fix it for me for free.
