Sweaters from Ireland Italy and Denmark will cost over $130-280, but there are equally wonderfully whimsical designs made in China that look expensive -- but are easy on the wallet. Almost every season I am able to find something that is one of a kind garment or jewelry piece which when worn elicits delighted responses from people --even at the grocery store. Their window displays show beautiful draped cloaks and scarves. These shoes looked awful until they eventually dried out . NOT wearable. She mailed the shoes back to me and when I tried to return them I was treated RUDELY and told they would not accept them because the store has a two week return policy and the shoes had been worn. The two week policy works well for a store with such POOR customer service because returns are inconvenient for out of town shoppers. I'm a local, I'll NEVER shop there again and I'll tell all my friends about this DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Hats with satin and lace in lighter pastel colors would also work for themed parties like the Great Gatsby, polo or Derby events. Personally, I was lured into the shop by the extensive sock collection available for both men and women. Long, short, colorful, plain, toes, ruffles, whatever you are looking for, they have it. A creative space? All of the above and also stationery, jewelry, accessories, art materials, books, and more. This shop is owned by two sisters and opened in November 2022. They host workshops in a small back room. There are so many lovely things to see. I can't wait to go back again. When I visited in October the windows were hung with marigold paper chains and mannequins dressed in vintage Halloween masks. It was an unexpected surprise on my day trip into town. I only came away with some hand dyed silk ribbons and washi tape, but so many fresh ideas as well.

He was watching us almost obsessively the entire time we were there and seemed annoyed when I asked to see something that was in the case. After taking a look, I decided against purchasing the item that I was looking at, as the ring was too small for me. I thanked him for getting it out of the case and he accused me of stealing. It is important to note that he required me to come to the front of the store to try them on, which is understandable. However, he did not ask the white women who wished to look at earrings only mere minutes before me. I calmly explained to him that I had not and emptied my pockets onto the counter and told him he was welcome to look through my small purse. He insisted that I stole one of the rings even after I politely showed him everything inside my purse. No sort of an apology was given and I promptly left, as racist establishments do not deserve my business. I would highly recommend to avoid this place if you are a minority, unless you want to be accused of stealing!

But About Time is different - they had things in many price ranges, and several different styles and sizes. They also had a gorgeous selection of jewelry and accessories, an all-too-tempting shoe section, and even a sale rack and consignment clothing in the very back! I left with a gorgeous consignment sweater and a summer dress off their sale rack. My daughter also found several teen-friendly trinkets that she loved. The owner was super friendly too.
