    Beef Salad

Affordable and authentic Thai food! I'm rarely on this side of town so I had to try it. The fish cakes had a good flavor and nice crust, and they paired well with the sweet sauce. The beef salad was fresh and light, though the beef was just a bit overcooked for my tastes. As for the papaya salad, I think it could definitely be a lot more spicier and perhaps more fish sauce. I think I ordered it spicy too but I couldn't detect much heat. It was a good portion size though. They have a dedicated parking lot and a small dining area.

We had a great experience at Aim Thai. The thai tea was super yummy (I'm a huge thai tea girl). The basil chicken fried rice was great! The chicken panang curry was extraordinary! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There aren't a ton of tables, but definitely enough to seat a couple parties at a time. I believe there's 5-6 tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Regardless, it didn't effect our experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would recommend checking them out!

The food is really tasty, and the service is really good. I received accommodations for my allergies and recommendations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place feels clean and homey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

For me and the family this was an average Thai restaurant. The servings were a little small for the price point. The flavors were good not great. The crab fried rice didn't contain much crab. The pad see ew could use more flavor. Although the papaya salad was delicious! The parking lot is small to accommodate about 10 cars. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is dated and has about 8 tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Nobody does comfort food like miss Aim Thai. This place is one of my favorite Thai restaurants of all time. I like to see it as a hole in the wall honestly not fancy or anything on the inside which is totally okay. The food is so flavorful and well put together for example the potatoes in the curry have a cute wavy cut to them and is cooked to perfection. And the drinks are delicious and I cannot get enough. I sometimes order here for take out too. The portions are very good for what you get, and their mango sticky rice when in season is so delicious. No one does it like her, definitely give this place a try.

I been coming here for 10 years. I can't believe it. This deserves the rating given from 2024 top restaurants. Food is always exceptional, and the owner is so grateful and nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is clean and quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hope to see a growth soon.

Let's try this place! Pretty calm but smells so good

Don't let the spot fool you!!! It's such a homey litre restaurant that deserves all the great reviews!!! We ordered Thai tea, green Thai tea, egg rolls, spring rolls, pad Thai, tiger plate with sticky rice and bbq pork with veggies. I love how she lets you create your own combo, what I mean if you want pad Thai? She asks you with what type of meats? The Thai tea is a little sweet but it's enough to just keep adding ice and have plenty of it to take home!!! The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was so good!! Has some spicy taste which is perfect!!! The tiger cry beef is so delicious!! Savory and on point, not over cooked!! Just perfect The egg rolls are so tasty and fresh!! Finding this place was great!! I love finding spots like these in Houston!! Definitely a keeper!! Pad Thai a little sweet but savory!! Lots of food!! Lots of leftovers and great customer service, very friendly and sweet lady!!

Came in looking for a Tea on a hot summer day, I didn't know exactly what I wanted. They gave me samples and was so nice. Let me try everything they don't have tap and I didn't have my card so I ended up zelleing the owner. They're so nice and so sweet great customer service please go visit them!

The taste 5 stars. Service 5 stars. Ambiance is ok because it's a take out restaurant. Overall the price is good compared to the size and the taste of the dishes. We are from Boston so haha everything is cheap lol. The desserts are really good as well..... There's another story... there was a stray cat wandering outside of the store so we told the staff and the staff began to bring food to her! And decided to bring her home! I am so touched. I would have done the same thing if I am a local here. I am glad everything worked out.

It's been about five or six years since I reviewed this restaurant. It's definitely time for an update. I'm updating them to five stars because the food is really good and priced well. Where in Houston can you find an amazing courier for 639 to 899. Also the pad Thai with beef and chicken is really good. The eggrolls are really good as well. All in all I'm pretty much a really good client to these guys now. I am a fan. I will note that the food taste better there compared to when you get in and get to go. If you get any sort of noodle dish to go, by the time you get home the noodles stick together. So with that being said if you're getting pad Thai or any other noodle dish I will suggest you eat it there. Eating the food there versus eating it to go is a totally different experience. Customer service: the people that work here are very friendly and very nice. They go out of their way to make sure you get everything you need at your table. However I do think they only have one pan because my son and I ate there his food came out first then mine came out about seven minutes later. Same thing happened with a couple that was sitting next to us. That is hilarious. They only have one pan or one cook. Not sure other than that I will still go back and try them out and try more things.

We had to order take out on a Friday night because it was 10 mins before closing (9pm on Fridays) and they processed the order incredibly fast. All tables were full when we picked up so I'm sure busy nights will be a bit of a wait to get in. We asked for "medium" spice but the receipt had been defaulted to "mild" thank god. It was still a decent amount of spice and any more I would have probably been sweating like crazy. So I would recommend starting off with mild and go from there unless you are a glutton for punishing spice. Their mild seems to be more like medium / hot at an Americanized Thai joint. Pad Kee Mow with chopped chicken was delicious. Fresh crunchy green beans and bell peppers, onions and tomatoes perfectly cooked with the perfect spicy basil sauce. Noodles all had sauce on them. Large serving size and great price. We also got papaya salad which was just right and nice spice. I wish I could come here often and try everything else on the menu.

There's a sign-in sheet. While we waited, we took a look at their two-aisle mini store, which is in the same room as the restaurant. We bought some interesting snacks and looked at the menus until we were messaged. Once we sat down, we shared fried tofu and chive cakes. They were amazing. The fried tofu was evenly crispy with a soft, piping-hot fluffy inside. (The sauce doesn't contain any fish sauce, since one of us was vegetarian.) The chive cakes were both crispy and mochi-like. I had the Thai iced tea and pompano fish. The staff scared us about the spice level, so we all started off with mild and a small variety of chili sauce, oil, and powder on the side. The ones who changed their minds to mild actually used them. So now we know that if you like medium spicy, go with the second-lowest level. I was fine with mild and ate my whole fish. Loved it. Our waitress was quick, but the kitchen... not so much. We all ended up eating at different times because we didn't want anyone's dishes to get too cold while waiting for the rest to come to the table. By the time my dish came, the first two main dishes were already finished (rice and noodle-based), and the third dish (curry) had already been at the table for a while. I also noticed another table that sat after us got all of their dishes (noodles and rice) before my dish came. The food timing needs some work. If you want a quick meal, I think their rice and noodles are the fastest. But the pompano fish was amazing. If you know how to debone a fish or eat one with bones, get this dish. There's free parking out front and in the grassy lot next to it.

We visited for lunch on a Tuesday and had no wait to be seated. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The spring rolls and dumplings were both very good and made a great start to the meal. The Pad Thai had nice flavor and was enjoyable. My husband ordered his dish at a spice level 4 (their highest spice level), but felt it wasn't quite as spicy as expected, so keep that in mind if you like a lot of heat. The portions were very generous, and we definitely had leftovers. The kids' chicken fried rice was a huge portion and was surprisingly good. We also enjoyed the mango sticky rice for dessert--it was a great way to end the meal. The only disappointment was the Thai tea, which tasted a little weak compared to what we've had at other Thai restaurants. As for the entree, I ordered the Khao Soi with shrimp and my friend ordered the spicy red snapper. We tried their appetizers including Salmon Rolls (flavorfully packed with cream cheese, salmon, and spinach in a crispy shell and loving that actually spicy mayo on the side), Thai Style Jerky (deep fried and sun dried marinated pork and beef served with sticky rice rolls and side spicy tamarind sauce, a bit too dry/chewy), Fried Tofu (perfect little triangles, so good by itself or with the side sweet and sour sauce with crushed peanuts), Chive Pancake (deep fried and chive packed triangles with a slight chew to it, great by itself or with it's spicy soy sauce companion). As for the mains, the Spicy Seafood Fried Rice is a good value as it was loaded with all sort of fruits of the sea (shrimp, squid, and mussel), with prominent lemongrass and kaffir lime aroma, but a bit wet or moist for a fried rice dish, the Crabmeat Omelet is served with a nice portion of lump crabmeat where you can taste the flavor of the seafood and add sriracha to liking, and the Beef Pad See Ew is made appetizing with wok charred flat rice noodles along with a savory blend of soy sauce, Chinese broccoli and egg. The portion size is alright and filling for a moderately hungry individual, though it would've been even better a tad bigger for those coming in hangry. It could easily reach that level. Our waitress, Ann, was incredibly kind, soft spoken, and welcoming. My friend Sherita suggested this restaurant after we left a Yelp office hour, and I'm so glad she did because it introduced me to something I never knew I needed: the salmon mango fried rice. It was absolutely amazing. I originally planned to take some home for my son to try, but it was so delicious that I finished every bite in one sitting. Sherita had visited earlier in the week and tonight shared that she arrived; right before I walked in which was 30 minutes before closing time, Jackie told her to hurry up and order, even though she already knew exactly what she wanted and didn't even need a menu. Jackie response was unprofessional and didn't even wait till the table guest got to the table, which was less than seconds since we all arrive at the same time, and left the same place. During our visit, Jackie never brought us water. A couple who was seated after us received water before we did. It took over 10 minutes for us to get water. Ann took great care of us, but anytime we wanted a refill, we had to ask. At one point my glass was completely empty. I noticed Jackie refilling the water glasses for a table of six, so I managed to get his attention. He looked directly at me, scanned the room, then stomped away all fast without acknowledging my request. Instead, he told Ann that we wanted water, and she graciously brought it over. Even at the end of our meal, Jackie stood behind the register while my friends waited to pay, yet another employee ended up taking their payment. His overall energy felt very cold and unwelcoming. My friend even joked that it was probably for the best that he didn't refill my water because of the energy he was carrying. As someone who believes water absorbs energy, I honestly agreed. I'm grateful Ann was the one who served us with such kindness. The restaurant itself has such a peaceful, zen atmosphere. The greenery outside and the warm lighting inside create a cozy neighborhood spot that I truly want to love and revisit with my son. Thank you , Sherita for introducing me and Aaliyah to this hidden gem. I completely understand why you visited twice in one week. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and hopefully next time the hospitality matches the quality of the food.
