This place had great vibes. As a pastry chef blogger I am here for the desserts. I tried their carrot cake and it was unusual when looked at because of all the items inside the cake. It was no doubt amazing in taste. It was moist and rich. The pineapple and carrots dissolve in the mouth with ease. I can't say the same for the walnuts though. They could be cut smaller so that way they would not sink to the bottom of the cake. The frosting was okay. Too sweet for my taste but this cake is a plus for me. I went in during the lunch hour. I smelled the food from outside. When I walked in, oh mannnnn the smell just welcomed you like a warm embrace. The waiter was super nice and patient while I browsed the menu. I got the jerk salmon wrap. It was definitely love at first bite. read more

Love their food. I can't get enough of the blackened salmon wrap. Tomato bisque is always amazing and the tropical breeze smoothie is the best I've had. I'd give 5 stars all the way if it wasn't for the front staff. They look miserable to be there, very flat, barely a hello. There's one very sweet lady who works the back and occasionally runs out the order, who is the nicest and most pleasant there. Then there's another one who, when she comes out, looks like she's one sandwich away from quitting. The other thing is it's impossible to order ahead by calling. They place you on hold immediately and leave you there until it goes to a recorded message. I don't even try anymore. I just show up. I placed an order and it was mistakenly given to someone else. The customer returned it. They attempted to it to me. I requested for the order to be made fresh. After taking the returned order to the back I kindly requested that it remains in my sight so I don't feel like they're giving me the same food. I was informed if I wasn't on the phone I would have heard my name. Facts, however my order was given to another customer w/out an apology or any civil communication. "China" is rude, and lacks customer service. She created a hostile environment for an easy fix. I requested and refund and the disrespect continued. This is unethical! read more

This place is a gem. It is a cafe which serves sandwiches wraps and incredible tomato spinach bisque soup. I believe that's the name of it. But when I tell you it is incredible I have returned just for the soup. My first visit I tried Da Steve sandwich which is on a croissant with various turkey-based Meats. It is very good can be slightly sloppy but worth the price. I have since tried the jerk chicken wrap which is amazing. It is plentiful and very tasty. It has just the right amount of spice and if you are faint at heart I suggest you pass on the jerk chicken wrap. The smoothies are fresh made and they are great. The service is delightful. And the seating area is plentiful and creates a nice cafe dining experience. I will definitely continue patronize this establishment and I suggest you check it out too. read more

This is a nice business in a good area. Everyone working was very nice and everything seemed to be nice and clean. They do have a very good menu from wraps to paninis, soups and great drinks. Today I decided to try it and I went with a nice side salad which was a good portion. I also decided to go with a chipotle chicken wrap. The wrap was very good but there is one problem. It's the smallest wrapI have ever had. It is very tiny so you are not getting much at all. It came with a small bag of lays chips. I would suggest this place to people but my biggest thing is I'm still hungry after eating a very small wrap. I was shocked when I opened it up to see how tiny it was. Hopefully they improve on that because for $9.00 I could go to other places and get a full meal and not be hungry after. read more

Met here with my monthly consultation group. Even though it's a trek from where I live, it was worth the trip. Good space. Ample seating. Saw another group meeting as well in addition to folks just hanging out for an afternoon lunch or early breakfast. Staff was friendly and personable. I didn't actually eat but a few of my peers did and it looked and smile delicious. Their salads were visually pleasant. They also have sandwiches, soups, smoothies and paninis. I also saw a coffee bar for those interested. I did, however, try their desserts. Fantastic!! Chocolate chip brownie was just the right amount of sweet and chocolate. I also ordered the strawberry crunch cupcake. Again. Fantastic! They were both moist and flavorful. A must buy! If I'm in the area again I would definitely stop in again. read more

I heard their non vegan food was good too. I also get a vegan iced maple cinnamon coffee drink at the Andy sunshine cafe that's in the same space. Love love love! This place is 20 minutes from my job and always has a line but it so worth it. I always get the jerk salmon wrap and tomato basil spinach bisque and they both are delicious. Customer service is always outstanding. Only downside is calling in they don't answer the phone but when you get there and see how crowded it is you understand why. read more

Having been to the location on 43rd. I was happy to come across this location on Western, my visits to the first location have always been positive so stopping in here was a easy decision. The cafe itself is large, open and bright. You order at the counter and they bring it out to your table. As I selected a table a young lady that was cleaning off a nearby table rushed over to wipe it down for me. My sandwich didn't take that long to come up, while waiting I got myself a glass of the complimentary cucumber water. I had a club sandwich which had mayo and mustard on it, there was so much of it that the sandwich fell apart after it oozed out of the bread pores, a good size dollop also plopped onto the top of my boot. Really too bad, since the sandwich itself was pretty good. I'd go back if in the area, but I'd order something else. Parking is easy, free street parking right in front on Western or their lot just to the south of the multi businesses building that they're in. read more

Let me just say yasssssss! This is what I'm talking about! So I was a little nervous because when I pulled up at 1pm on a Thursday afternoon, I could not find parking. As I was about to pull off someone was leavening #blessing. I parked went in and yes it was a long line almost to the door from the counter. As I didn't have much time to spare I figured I will just take the hit and be late coming back to work. Now to my surprise I stood in line for only 5 minutes and received my order about 12 minutes later. I was able to make it back to work on time! Now to the great part: The food! I ordered an Sweet Panini and this was by far the best Panini I've every had. Sorry Panera but Ain't She Sweet Cafe has stolen my heart oh and my tummy! I also order the peach ice tea from the freezer, delicious! Let me not forget the sweet potato cake (yes cake, not pie) sooooooooooo yummy! I was excited to try this cafe at it's new location after only have heard of the other cafe location in Bronzeville about a month prior to this opening in Beverly. What attracted me is they sell smoothies and a variety of sandwiches. An additional plus is that they are a Black owned business. The Food: I had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wrap on a flour tortilla and it was absolutely delicious and flavorful. It comes with a pickle on the side and chips as well. You can't go wrong with this wrap. Drinks/Smoothies: I had a Grove Mixer (Strawberry-Lemonade) and I thought it was pretty good. This location also has an extensive coffee menu as well. Service: Visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was a small wait time. Good Customer Service overall and friendly staff. Ambiance: Very chill, I love the background music that was playing (Jill Scott) that gave this southside cafe a nice persona. There's also a television on the wall for a little extra entertainment. I will definitely be back to try out all the smoothies and everything on this menu. I really like this place and would highly recommend. read more

However, I must say the service at this particular location, is a bit uninviting. This location is not as cozy or warm. Great customer service is of great importance for me, almost just as important as the product being sold. Okay today was a good day at ain't she Sweet Cafe I came in it was not crowded the seating was open the staff was ready and eager to please to take my order and prepare my order they make sure it was to my liking that cashier took the time out to explain the difference between the jerk salad and the jerk wrap to me whether I wanted it to actually be a whole chicken breast this chopped into pieces or the chopped-up version of it and I went with the whole chicken breast man cut up which today was awesome the first time I had it I really didn't care for it but they listen to me and how I wanted it prepared and it was perfect it was delicious it was a little bit on the smaller side I would say but I still enjoyed it with it you get a free bag of potato chips and I also got a Weight Watchers smoothie I got the small the difference between the small and the largest about $1 and difference in the Weight Watchers smoothie you have strawberries peaches non-fat yogurt honey and a splash of orange juice it is absolutely delicious it quench my thirst and it went perfect with the sandwich that was a little bit spicy now for the wrap I got it serve on spinach wrap inside of the wrap was the cut up chicken breast with cheddar jack cheese lettuce tomatoes onion in jerk sauce regular price for that is $7.49 With the $2 discount I paid about $10 and that's the most I would like to pay for lunch so it's definitely worth using the discount I got the discount because I presented a badge for my nursing field they have different days will you can get a $2 discount I believe it's a day for teachers in the day for firefighters and police but you have to go into the website to make sure but I know I'm Thursday they give a $2 discount if you're in the healthcare field which is awesome I enjoy my lunch today I will be back read more
