One of them said we were low on freon and tried to bend us over for 500 bucks, and when I got a second opinion the second big company said the freon level was fine. Neither of them fixed the machine, one said they wanted 15 grand for a new system, and the other was not helpful either. So after years living with a cold house and using emergency heat, I called this company and Tony sent Gabriel out and he put a capacitor on the machine and it works so well I can't even imagine it. Mine you we installed a pellet stove because of how bad this heater is, well our heater works fine, but the two large heating companies that work in Petaluma are horrible, I wont mention names. The one named after a guys name in the garden of eden wasn't as bad as the other company, but they wont even service you two months out they are so busy. These guys came within hours. Called Nathan's Hvac Services, he came to our store, did a diagnosis, and fixed the freezer better than before. While he was at our location, he checked on all of our refrigeration equipment (we have a lot as a grocery store), he made sure all the maintenance was up to date. He found a few things that needed extra attention, like our on-demand water heaters. he fixed them and made them run better then when they were newly installed. He set up an equipment schedule for us. showed us what we could do ourselves, but also offered to maintain them for us. We needed heating and cooling in our storge area. I had gotten bids for a mini-split from other HVAC contractors, and they were all out of our budget. I asked Nathan for a bid, and it was significantly under the other bids, and because he did great work on our other equipment, we had him go ahead and install the heat pump. Boy, are we glad we did. The new mini-split works so great that we are looking forward to our hot Cloverdale summers. I told him that I wanted a way to remotely monitor the temp of our refrigerators and freezers. He did some research and presented a proposal, which was way under what I budgeted. When I was offered another appointment, I asked whether they could provide a smaller arrival window since I had already spent four hours waiting for an appointment that had been scheduled incorrectly. They were not able to offer one. What was most disappointing was how the scheduling error was handled. I spoke with the same person who had originally scheduled the appointment, but there was no acknowledgment that the appointment had been entered for the wrong day and no apology. I was told they understood that the situation was frustrating, but that felt very different from taking responsibility for the mistake. I understand that scheduling errors happen. What mattered to me was how the error was handled once it was discovered, and unfortunately the response did not give me confidence in scheduling another appointment.
