Pretty thorough from a documentation and diagnostics standpoint, less so from a cleaning everything standpoint (not a lot of cleaning/flushing/etc). The diagnostics is where they can work out some upsells (which who knows, maybe they're mostly necessary, but woof they are costly), and deeper cleaning/cleaning winds up also being extra. read more

Great experience start to finish. JP designed a great heating and cooling system for my 3 story home. I chose a 4 unit Mitsubishi split system. JP accompanied Alex the site manager came prior to installation to map out location for each unit along with the outdoor unit. He also came to help build the platform for the outdoor heat pump. Miguel and Mario just completed the 3 day installation. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Miguel and Mario left everything clean and tidy. Pricing was very fair. Amazing service from start to finish. The truth is, sometimes with big companies, the personal customer service aspect can get lost. Sometimes. Definitely not with Elevated Comfort. My mom is not an easy customer to work with, but after several quotes, she decided to go forward with them. As her financial advisor, ahem, there were quotes less expensive some were more, but the way that they interacted with her sealed the deal for me as well. They pursued the job, but not in a pushy way. It was a major financial undertaking for us and they respected that but never let the quote completely go to sleep. When we finally decided to go forward, they brought space heaters that same day because the weather had changed so much. They delivered the materials and then started the job the next morning. Each visit was announced with a text reminder and they were always on time. All my mom could say was how nice everyone was. How they worked with her communication issues in order to solve some issues about where to place the newer/larger AC unit. They were mindful of her property and the plants. They did a good job explaining the thermostats to her, making sure she understood and could demonstrate. It was a positive experience 100% and I would recommend them going forward. Zach came out to diagnose the issue with my heater on the Monday before Thanksgiving. He ordered parts: blower and control board, which cost me ~$4k. I was disappointed that it wasn't available until after Thanksgiving and there was no communication regarding scheduling the install until I called them on the following Tuesday. Zach came the next day and did a great job installing and testing out the system. I was disappointed that they couldn't diagnose whether the problem was only the blower or both the blower and the control board. I paid the extra to replace both in hope of avoiding another costly repair in the future. Only time will tell if it was money well spent. read more

Hi, everyone. I needed to replace a very old air conditioner & furnace system in my mobile home. The men were very polite, great at explaining all that was needed to either repair or replace my system. I appreciated that approach, to give me the options of either the repair or replacement. My system was 24 years old and the parts would be harder and harder to obtain so I opted to replace the system. The only negative was that the price isn't cheap at all, BUT you get a great warranty; 10 years of parts and labor plus service calls are covered. The men worked very, very hard & they had to work all day to figure out a certain issue to get the AC working right because of old wiring in my home etc. I'm glad I chose them. read more

Dec. last year on the 1st I called the company since I used them prior on couple occassions..they happend to answer my call back for a issue with my split heater outdoor unit for a Casita in K area. Seems couple homes later I asked around had the same issues. The technician came and for an hour of wasting my time(he kept wanting to see if there was a crawl space in the casita which as you can see clearly there is none..had to take him all over my main house to look for one) he ended up staying I guess about 3 hrs. When he examined the split heater unit, he said the refrigerant was leaking ...we had to go ahead with the repair because it was needed since there was no heat coming out of the unit in Casita. He showed a price 2269.00 which I though was high but I went ahead to get it fixed since he was there...At that time he never said it was a flat rate that the company charges..was not transparent , no disclosure, asked him about senior or first responder rates discount he did not know but yet later I looked online at the website it states 10% ..he gave me 5% so like he does not know what he was really doing?? My main issue regardless they have very good reviews so who knows what happened here this time with me. Maybe they think they are so good now they can charge alot ...whatever...but I wrote and called later was sent an invoice thru email - I was shocked that the technician never explained in detail what he actually did step by step and how he arrived to what he did and ..it was just plain a little paragraph that did not explain to me what I wanted...called office etc...no avail same invoice ..invoice did not even say the work was guaranteed at ll. I looked up how much refrigerant he put was so many ounces it came out to 280.00 ..why in the world did they get to 2269.00 Did the technicain take apart the unit, clean the bllowers etc.. no mention of that...he was on the phone several times asking of what to do ? Talked to owner later on, when I had no call back in regards to detailed invoice..he said he would do something about it nothing was done even with a detail invoice..wrote a long letter email and comes back with the office manager trying to say the company does a flat rate ..now she tells me to justify what they charged ...just their way of protecting themselves, what about me the homeowner...is there no recourse..well at this point it is about integrity not about the money paid as much..I will take my chance sand see what happens as I waste my time gathering letters etc s which I will be copying to the CSLB and State Attorney General and Better Business Bureau.. I just felt like I was taken for and another neighbor with same type house and issue said Elevated Comfort quoted her 2,000 ..back then..she did not have them come do the job..They were not honest and upfront about their work this time with me...I would not have used them and not recommend them..But to each its own... read more

Came to misdiagnosed the problem. Then was quoted an outrageous number to fix it. Said it would be $6000 to replace the parts so I might as well buy a new water heater. The parts really were only about $1700. Misinformation trying to upsell a water heater job I don't need. Terrible communication. I will start off by saying we did not use there services at this time... however I really couldn't have better things to say about the service I received. Our Furnace went out this winter and I shop around, a lot, too much... I got 7 quotes but if the "service" i received was to be Rated Josh and Elevated was number 1 by far. Because of service time windows I had two HVAC vendors show up at the same time. Josh introduced himself then stated he would wait till the first vendor was done. He wasn't annoyed he was super kind and professional. Josh was a straight shooter, I was really really impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and honest opinion. Now why didn't we use them? Well, we ended up going a bit of a different direction and built out our system in a way that another vendor was a better option this time. They were very professional, right down to clean uniforms and a huge marked truck. They showed me photos of my 30-40 year-old heater going bad so I decided to get a new heater. The soonest they could do the work was 2 days away so they loaned me 2 nice space heaters. They came out again to do the install, which required things done to bring everything up to code. They arrived at 8:00am and were done by 3:00pm, which I think is amazing considering the tough attic access and all else that they had to do.
