If they can't fix it right away, good luck! You will be without A/C for weeks just like me. And with no real time frame of how long it will take. I can't talk to the manager, supervisor, or anyone in charge. Management does not call back. The lady who answers the phone does not put you through to the manager. The manager is completely insulated from the public. They don't have any answers and they don't provide any real information. They have no customer service. They charge you premium rates for service before services are rendered and if something goes wrong, nobody calls to tell you what is going on or ask if I'd like to proceed knowing that my A/C may not be fixed for 3-4 weeks or longer because I really do not know. I have used ATC for 15 years. I have had them install 2 A/C units (3 if you count my dad's house back in '08) and they have done all the service for me over the years. I can't believe this is the same company. I will NEVER use Air Around the Clock again. EVER! Unfortunately, I am still at their mercy. A/C is still down. It's been down since 11/6. When I spend thousands of dollars on "warrantee work", I expect that to come with a level of customer service and courtesy and professionalism. I should have been made aware of the part they can't source quickly and been given the option to wait or move on with another company. Thats my call, not theirs. So, I have remained anxiously waiting for repairs since Monday 11/6 with no real lead time to speak of. Unacceptable performance and 100% loss of a customer. I bought a new HVAC unit from them in March 2020 with a 10-year warranty. A week ago (Friday, Feb. 18, 2022), I called them because the A/C was not cooling down my home. They found out the motor on the compressor fan had failed. Two techs told me they do not have a new motor in stock but they could install a temporary one and order a new one, and come back Monday or Tuesday to install the new one. I told them to go for it. The tech then told me it would cost me $695. I argued that we are not even two years into a 10-year warranty, but he said the warranty is for parts only and that I have to pay labor and service. I told him no, that's not right. He refused to install the motor until I paid him half the cost as a deposit. I asked him to get a supervisor on the phone so I can talk to someone in charge. He spent a few minutes texting with someone, then told me he could knock $100 off to $595. So I called the main phone line to try to get someone on the phone. I explained the situation to the woman who answered the phone, she put me on hold for several minutes, then came back on and told me that I had to pay the labor/service fee before the techs can install the temporary motor. I insisted that she put a supervisor on the line. I went back and forth with the woman on the phone, being put on hold several times, but she refused to put a supervisor on the phone, she said everyone had gone home for the weekend and that I would have to wait until Monday for someone to call me. I said get someone on their cell phone, I need someone to tell these techs to put that temporary motor in the unit, and that I need this fixed now, not next Monday. Eventually, after 45 minutes, the woman hung up the phone one me and then the two techs told me they got a text from the office telling them to pack up and go on to their next job. I was stuck. I told the guy he's not leaving until he puts that temporary motor in the unit to get my A/C working. He said he can't do it. I asked him how much the new motor would cost if I was paying for it. He said $1200. I looked it up online, and the cost was around $250 if I were to buy it online. I asked him if the temporary motor is a refurbished one, and old one, what? He told me it is an older model they keep in the truck, and that this particular one was in one unit for about a week. I asked him how long that motor would last normally, he said about 15 years. I was stuck, I had to get that A/C fixed. So I told him I would give him $250 to cover his cost of a new motor if he would put this "temporary" one in, he agreed. It took the two of them all of 10 minutes to do that installation. The tech told me as he was leaving that someone would call me on Monday to work this all out. I never heard from anyone. I called the main number on Tuesday, was told no one was available but that someone would call me on Wednesday. It's now Saturday, I haven't heard a word from anyone. My A/C is currently working fine for the moment, and my check for $250 has been cashed. I've been emailed two invoices, one for a $95 service call, another for $345 for the balance of the installation charge to be paid on completion of the work. These people are running a scam. Customer service is not! We had been a customer since moving to SOFL over 5 years. Not anymore. Will not recommend this company to anyone. We had two visits by their technicians. We listened to their professionalism and advise and took them up on adding a cold air return vent to make the hottest room in the house cooler. First, they placed the cold air in wrong location leaving ceiling damage. The room is still the hottest room in our house. An unnecessary and costly job with a bad outcome. They never called us back when we called. Another annual maintenance visit recently resulted in property damage to a brand-new appliance. Their response. Don't talk with us. I had them come to repair my washing machine, which the technician came by and did his best. He was unable to fix the washer and told me Air Around the Clock would refund me since the washer wasn't able to be fixed. No issue with the technician, only being appropriately refunded. They definitely took a really long time for me to be refunded. We spent 2-3 months calling them where we received the same excuses from their staff . They said "they will connect with accounting and call back". They never did call back. Only until after I left a bad review on yelp they called me back and refunded me only partially..... I don't trust this company , and don't bother calling them for any other services. If I could give a 0 review for this company I would ! The management team is totally irresponsible and I even feel sorry for the technicians that need to take direction from them. After having a new Air conditioner installed in April , 2023 and my getting ill from a freeon leak that could not be repaired until a third technician finally did a thorough testing and REPAIR. FYI, this was after the manager John "guaranteed the leak was fixed". (Without ever seeing it himself) - 5 days later I was able to move back into my home. Now it is August, my "new"air conditioner is not working. When the technician came he found a blockage in the Freon line that needs to have the coils, if Both the outside and inside unit replaced. He needed to shut the unit entirely which means there is no air until the coils are replaced. The coils are ordered and according to both the "supervisor" Brittany that works with John but is not John's supervisor - ( John will not come to the phone - besides being incompetent, he is a coward " ) , and the phone attendant, describe (verbatim) that protocol of Air Around the clock" is that they are limited by the manufacturer as to when the part is delivered. "Air Around The Clock" will not pay for overnight delivery, even if in record breaking high temperatures, and there is a Senior resident living with no air conditioning for at least another 48 hours. With "Air Around the Clock" money rules, no exceptions. Please don't get trapped by a company that shows no common sense towards customers, has an incompetent management/supervisor team, and that overall is NOT pleasant to work with. The technicians are all very nice however vary in skills and work for a mgt team that does not oversee the work other than remotely even when there are numerous issues with the same unit. Frustrating does not even begin to describe my thoughts on this company. In addition, their prices are average- certainly not the least. I also made the mistake of buying a 10 year service agree from them. I will in all likelihood get my money's worth from that decision. That was not the intent on my part. There was a freon leak identified under my house that the AATC tech said did not exist. Instead, they did a $1500 repair on a 3 year old Trane unit that had no leaks. The leak under the home persisted and had to be repaired anyway. The company accepted zero responsibility for misidentifying the leak and doing the wrong repair. read more

We needed our compressor replaced. Air Around the Clock made an error and brought the wrong part to our house. We then had to wait four days for the new part to be installed. They brought us 1 in home unit that covers 600ft of cooling for our 2000+ ft square home but, it was better than nothing. When I called however, the supervisor at Air Around the Clock refused to give us any compensation for their error and our added time without ac. She said she "could not" when in reality it's "not willing to". When our AC went out everyone warned me that around the clock was a rip off and to call their guy. Unfortunately around the clock sold us our unit so I thought we would get better service. I was wrong. If you know someone who has a trustworthy and reliable guy, go with them. read more

GOD AWFUL COMPANY! Run, don't walk to the nearest exit. If I could give no stars, that would be generous. This company is perhaps the worst company I have ever dealt with. I live in a luxury high rise in FLL. This company was on a list of approved vendors allowed into the building. Unfortunately, the list was alphabetical and I chose the first name that appeared. On October 18, 2023, I called them to service an HVAC in my apartment that was not producing heat. I watched the tech spend over an hour trying to figure out what was wrong. In my opinion, he had no clue what he was doing. I left the room for a few minutes and when I returned, he had removed an expensive Wi-Fi thermostat that communicated with a smart app with a non Wi-Fi thermostat, leaving me with no remote option to control the heat. I was told my thermostat was faulty. I was charged $325.00 for the new thermostat. When he left, the system was producing heat. The problem was the tech never stayed to see if the system would shut off. THE TECH ALSO LEFT WITH MY WI-FI- THERMOSTAT, without telling me he was taking it. When I went to use the heat for the first time, it never shut off. I had the building engineer come to check the system. After careful examination, he removed the new thermostat, undid the maze of jumper wires and gave me an inexpensive thermostat to hold me over until I replaced that with a Wi-Fi thermostat. So now I call the company to complain and ask for a refund. I spoke with Brittney, who represented herself as a supervisor with the company. I explained the situation and requested a refund. Brittney took the position that they did nothing wrong and no refund was offered. I suggested we split the difference. 'No' to that as well. I told her I would write a scathing review (which I realized once I got to the review page, I was in the majority of one star reviews, so I see why she didn't care. She did call me back and offer a one year maintenance contract, but I explained that I was selling the condo and certainly wouldn't want them back in my apartment anyway. I did tell her that I would make sure that their company was removed from the approved vendor list for my building and she promptly told me I would hear from their legal department if I did that. Now that's customer service! Incidentally, after discussing my situation with our building management, they have been removed from the approved vendor's list. Lastly, where is my expensive Wi-Fi thermostat? Why did he take it without permission? 3 1/2 years ago I had them install brand new American Standard air conditioner. Twice this summer it has gone out. My a/c went out on Saturday evening. It was late and the place was not that hot so I decided to wait until Monday morning to avoid the $175 weekend charge. That evening I sent an email to them. I called them Monday morning at 9:30. Rheysaid they would call me. They had just serviced my unit 2 months ago. By noon I did not hear from them so I called. They then told me they would be there between one and four. I tried to be patient but I work from home and this was now impacting my job. Considering they were just out 2 months previously I called them back and told them that was not acceptable. They had the tech call me. When I spoke with him he said he was on his way. An hour later he had not arrived. I called him. He denied telling me he was on his way. Then sent me a text message saying he was 15 minutes away. By this time I called the company again and they told me there was nothing they could do and that they could not get someone out any sooner. He finally showed up 45 minutes later...blaming traffic. The technician checked my inside unit, went downstairs and checked the outside unit, came back upstairs one last time before going back down. 20-30 minutes later I was concerned that I had not heard anything. I looked outside and the panel had been removed but he was not there. I went downstairs. He was returning about the same time. He then told me I needed a new part and wasn't even aware that this AC was still under warranty. He originally said my capacitor was low and that these things happened because of usage. I called a friend he knows about A/C units and put it on speakerphone so he could tell this person what he was twlling me. A capacitor has a life expetancy of 10-20 years. Furthermore he said that the voltage was supposed to be 35 and it was only at 32. Actually, it is not until it gets to 25 that it will affect the a/c unit. After we challenged him started backtracking and denying that he said the capacitor was the cause. He finally said the connector was bad. The part would be covered but the labor would not. He said he did not have the part with him but was going to get it from another tech. I paid for the labor and he left to get the part. That was around 5:00. By 6:47 I had not heard from him. I sent him a text. He proceeds to call me and tell me he is stuck in traffic. When I ask where he had to go to get the part he cannot tell me. All he can say is that it was north. Around 7:30 I finally see the van pulling into the complex. I went upstairs because I am now hot, angry, and totally exhauated from this whole ordeal. My b/f was dealing with him now. When he came down the sidewalk he turned as if he was going ro my door but then kept walking. My boyfriend was calling to him but he ignored him. Finally he caught up with him and he came over to replace the connector. My b/f started watching him. He was standing at least 6 feet away and smoking a cigarette. The tech suddenly walked away. Finally he told my boyfriend that tje cigarette smoke was bothering him and he had to go get water because he felt like he was going to vomit. Then the tech makes some comment along the lines that he is not gay and cannot work with my boyfriend watching him. I am inside my bedroom and hear him talking and telling him that it is because the capicator is low and that he tried to tell us that. He then said he was going to install one to prove his point. That did not work. So now it is well past 8:00 and he tells me the compressor is blown. Now I have an a/c unit that is less than 4 years old and is not working. He denied he said anythimg about the capicator to my b/f. He proceeds to tell me how he had done me a favor by going to get the part and he will never do anyone any favors again. This is a terrible company to do business with: We had previously used them for air conditioning maintenance with a 2 year contract (because they offer to come twice a year / lies it's only once and a minimal discount if repairs are needed) This year we began having issues with our unit dripping water. We call them to send a tech and to renew the 2yr maintenance contract for $400. The tech came, collected the money, checked the unit and advised it needed repairs for an additional $400 (with their discount) which he couldn't do and had to schedule another tech. BTW we didn't receive a copy of the contract, we called and they told us it would be in the mail. We called and asked if the copy of the contract would be sent with the next tech. The next tech came in with an incorrect copy of the contract, but did the repair anyway. We called and asked if they could e-mail a copy of the contract. They said no, it had to be sent by mail. A week later, no copy received and the unit started dripping water again. We called, again requested the copy by email (gave them my email) and asked for a tech who would come between 12 and 3pm. The day of the appointment came, 4pm and the tech was a no show. I called them, they tracked down the tech and he showed up; he was in a pissy mood, made remarks about the crappy job the previous techs did and fixed the AC unit. When I asked what should we do if he breaks again, his remark was "you keep calling the company"... The tech left and didn't leave the copy of the order that he just completed. The next day I called the copy, got yet another rep on the phone who offered to email the contract (BTW every time I called and spoke to a different rep, and confirmed my email, they were using the wrong one, again and again I kept giving them the correct one)... This las rep offered to email the copy of the last work order and the updated contract and she would call me back. 7 or 8 hours later, no copy, no call, no satisfaction. So I keep calling, getting different reps, no supervisors because apparently they never have any because they keep refusing to put any on the phone. At this point, I don't think I will get any follow ups, any paperwork, and my AC unit will probably break again and in 1 or 2 weeks I will go through the same crap with this people. Do not pay for their maintenance agreements, do not even bother trying to get any results. All their employees are understaffed, improperly trained, my wife is still hot with anger, Mr. Michael Lang (their made for TV showman) if you read this, I hope you're enjoying your cool A/C. Unfortunately the supervisor reports to the owner who doesn't get involved with customer satisfaction. Update: Had the broken AC repaired ($600 cost what they claim to be labor only) the whole job from the minute the tech arrived at 1030 am til the moment he called me saying work was done, installed, and checked for completion was 2 hours. Air Around the Clock charges a $100 an hour for labor. One guy installed a new compressor and it took 2 hours and they have the nerve to charge $600 for what is supposed to be the cost of labor only as the AC was bought new and still under warranty (2 year old machine). Will be contacting BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! Worst customer service ever. Nicole (Nicolette) constantly dismissive, with an answer to everything. If you want to buy a brand new AC from these people, it will be your loss. My experience- two years ago we called AIR AROUND THE CLOCK for a repair and my wife was "talked" into buying a new AC over doing a repair. She decided to buy a new AC because we didn't want constant maintenance and cooling issues especially since we were going to be renting out the unit. Boy were we wrong with that decision! What we ended up with after spending close to $4000 dollars on a new two-ton ( indoor - outdoor ) unit is a dead compressor after just two years! The AC has stopped working and whoever you talk to at AIR AROUND THE CLOCK has a million excuses for the lemon AC they sold us. Poor customer service, think about it- a major component dead with an "almost new " AC (who knows they may have given us a refurbished one) and they have wiped their hands clean of their responsibility. Now they want $600 just for labor to put in a new compressor accompanied with plenty of nonsense claims that you can buy a car or a fridge brand new and in a couple years it can die on you. Wow, what a company. Take my advice, Shop around, don't buy from ATC, and negotiate a better warranty with parts and LABOR included. My Wife is Hot so I took Their Advice:) Six years ago I bought my AC unit from Air Around the Clock. I'm a huge fan of the Joe Rose Sports Show on WGAM and it was because of Joe's horrible singing of the ATC song that made me hire these guys. Not really, but the fact they have been around for over 30 years and have a 24/7 operation was the real reason. Every time I've called for any maintenance on my unit, the response time has been prompt, and the service was very professional. Recently, I noticed that my AC handler was leaking at the base. I figured my drain line was clogged so I called ATC. They came out the next day and I advised them that since I was working my pop, who's 76, would be at the house. They showed up on time and got to work. That Dreadful Call Don't you hate that call you get from a mechanic working on your car or anything you own that costs lots of money. Well I got that call from the worker Joe. Joe tells me that my coil needs to be cleaned and cleaned badly. He proceeds to tell me it's $425.00 blah blah blah blah. Honestly I didn't hear a word after $425.00. He sounded like all the adults in a Peanuts Cartoon. I'm thinking WTF man. I almost called Joe Rose to see if he could work out a deal for me since he turned me on to these dudes. Instead, I called my wife, we discussed it, and decided to get the work done. Mind you I was just taking this dude Joe's word for it that I needed this work done. ATC has always been straight up with me so I didn't even call another place to get another quote. Joe makes an appointment to come back the next day to clean the coil and drain pan. Oh My! I'm at work again, so my dad meets Joe and they get to business. Joe tells me he will take before and after pictures to show what they did. I didn't ask him to do that, but it was very professional that he did. Well folks, I'm embarrassed to even show you the before pictures, but it's imperative that I do. One word comes to mind: disgusting. I can't believe my family was breathing the air pumped out by my AC coil. More importantly, an air conditioner with dirty coils uses almost 40 percent more energy than one with clean coils. With buildup like this, the cooling function can be reduced by 30 percent or more. The after pictures clearly shows what an excellent job Joe did. I never got to meet him and it wasn't like it was free but I'm appreciative of him and ATC. That was $425.00 well spent. The Verdict This is a great company. I'm not related to anyone who works there or owns it. I will go on the record and say I met Mike Lang (the guy in the ATC commercials) and his wife years ago while eating at the now defunct Gold Coast Grill. This was before he was in the commercials. They are always out and about eating dinner in Coral Springs. They love Big Bear Brewing Company and I'm pretty sure they are fans of The Cook and the Cork too. Anytime I see them I go and say hello, they are really nice people. Mike always told me to call him if I needed something with my AC. Well, I haven't and I'm here to report that I didn't need to. The price was fair and the service was excellent. This is another business that I'm proud to say is in Coral Springs. Just never send the New York Jets truck to my house! We had a wonderful experience with this company. Out of all the companies that have come to our home this one has been the best! We'd been having issues with our 3 units for years and after spending money trying to fix leaking Freon in all the units we were done. To make matters worse, we were also tired of not really knowing why our master bedroom and bath always seemed warm even after lowering the thermostat to 65. I can't tell you how many companies have come here to "fix" this unit. Finally we decided to give this company a try and WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID. I called their office and they scheduled a service representative for the very next day. Their representative Willy came first thing in the morning. He arrived on time with a friendly and helpful attitude. After surveying the units, he confirmed what we suspected - two of the units were on their way out. He then pointed out that one of the issues with our master bedroom condensation unit, which had been replaced 6 years earlier, was that the air handler was 2.5 tons and the newer condensation unit had been replaced with a 1.5 ton. What?! No wonder there was hardly any air in the room. It also had a huge leak. Willy scheduled our job for the next day. I was so impressed with the installation guys he sent. They arrived on time and ready to work. They placed tarps on all walkways and in all a/c closet areas so any debris would not fall on our floor as they removed and installed the units. All manuals, paperwork and permits were stacked neatly for us to review and sign. Once finished, they broom cleaned all the work areas. These guys were FAST. We had three brand new units in a matter of hours not days. I had a great experience with Willy and his team. First technician lied about timeline to fix my AC. Second technician installed motor backwards but swore it was working fine. Third technician installed the motor correctly but broke the unit housing causing a leak in my house. Fourth technician installed the correct part but couldn't stay long enough to seal the leak. I called them and told them to not send anyone else and I fixed the leak myself. Lied multiple times, treated me like dirt, incompetent technicians. Third time the AC has stopped working since they installed only 2-1/2 years ago; over $1,200 in repairs. STAY AWAY! read more

I have used air around the clock for over 15 years. They have the best service from the time I call to having someone at my door to fix my AC. Today, I was at my Moms and her hot water heater went. It was old but when I called, they asked me to send a picture of the unit and got all the details so they could be prepared to replace if needed. Run Forest Run! Stay away from this company. I am still making payments on my fairly new AC unit that is less than 2 years old. When the AC unit was installed, I had to call ATC back twice because my house was not cooling down. Only a year later, once again, I had to call them back 2 times within a month period. It was Memorial Day weekend and was told since the service request was after normal business hours and a holiday, I would have to pay for an after hours service, plus the charge to repair. I had no choice to pay as it was extremely hot. I was then sold a maintenance contract that which covers repairs M-F during work hours. It is another fee after work hours, weekends and holidays. SMH. Their customer service representatives are very argumentative and have no empathy. They arent there to help or even make you feel comfortable in HOT situations. Please research and find a company that will install the AC correctly from the start. ATC hires independent contractors who rushed through their work and they make money on people like me. This company truly sucks, they install a new ac in my house that needed all parts replaced in the handler and outside unit. Unit started blinking red they send somebody out that has no dam idea on what is going and does not know how to work the unit , guy ignores the RED blinking light resets the unit. Few weeks go buy to yesterday unit is blinking again and ac is not blowing cold. Another guy comes out and says Compressor is bad and says it's not warranties even through they replaced the compressor. Guy tries to sell me a 5k new ac unit says that is the best option. I get a new ac installed by someone else later to find out the breaker outside the house which powers the outside went bad and compressor was never the issue. Never again will I deal with them. AVOID THIS OVER PROCED COMPANY! We have used AITC in the past, and decided to call them back for a simple repair, literally replace a breaker. The repair tech was friendly, but when it came time to the repair is was $595 to replace a breaker. ($25 part) in less than 8 mins! Then came the "you really should get a kickstart" which was a $65 part, but over $495 'they wanted over $1,100 for two parts totally less than $100, and 15 mins t install. I paid the $95 service call and sent them on their way! Just called two other companies and quoted the same job and parts for $300. So make the best of my $95, it will be the last $ you get from my wallet! read more

I used to recommend this xompany to everyone. This time they send a techbician who told me the temperature i kept my home at was ridiculous. Twice he said it. And gave me a quote to fix a unit they put in brand new 3 years ago ($5k) to fix a coil that is 'leaking' while the coil is covered under warranty the labor and freon ar $600. And when i am trying to ask questions he is completely cutting me off by just saying by the time i leave you will have cold air... etc etc. Call the office and the lady tells me why dont you just let him finish giving you the quote. Needless to say i will never recommend anyone to ATC again and will be looking for new company to service my AC read more

They came to change less than 24 inches of copper pipe going from the hot side of the water heater to the house and charged $475.00. Notice, it's all in the open, no having to crawl anywhere or cut drywall. The catch, just to come out it's $95. So your damn if you do and damn if you don't. I give two stars because after I complained about the price and him telling me the reason it's so high is because it is Saturday? What are you serious?? He offered their one year plumbing maintenance agreement. Claims that it is a $200 value with 10% off future work with the $95 visit fee waved. My experience with ATC for over 8 years has been very good. A few years ago I chose to buy an annual service contract, which has been a good value living here in very hot SE FL. This past weekend my air handler motor started to croak, so I called ATC and a supervisor came out this am and replaced the motor. Steve was very friendly, professional and efficient.
