Bought new unit 4 months ago had them out 3 times now the 4th time they're saying I have to pay an emergency fee. They also deleted my 2 previous calls. Wondering if anyone else had this same experience. They are charging astronomical amounts for the unit and now they are trying to charge me more for a faulty unit. Stay far away from this company. The tech came out in a timely matter. Looked at my A/C unit said "watch this,majic" . Pressed a button and my air came on. He told me I needed a new unit and the cost would be $6800. He left and about a half hour later the air went off again. I called the 24 hour line to try to get an idea where this magic button was. It was the least they could do is tell since I paid $195 for the tech to press a button and leave. About 2 minutes of work. I called around 830pm. I got a return call at 730am a message was left telling me the tech left the new unit information. I received another call around 9am. Basically telling me the same thing. I called back and asked the not to call me anymore and for $195 I should get better service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY read more

Air Around the Clock (company) is a total Fraud. Between June 29, 2023, and July 7, 2023 I paid a total of $1,622 for service and labor for the installation of a new evaporator coil (under manufacture warranty). The evaporator coil installed was too big and they forced it in, damaging the case of the unit. After the coil was installed, they told me that the unit was rusty. I have been without a/c since the 1st day this company came and charged me the $1,622. After many attempts to make it work, today a supervisor told me that they cannot fix this unit because of the corrosion problem. Also, this company failed to disclose the corrosion problem in the first place. I have been dealing with Airs Around the Clock for an entire week and I am still without a/c and without my money so I requested either to fix it or to refund my money but he declined my request. Is this a responsible way to do business? I will not recommend this company at all! read more

This company will take your money every way they can. The unit we bought from them has broken down 5 times in 4 years. The installation was sloppy...I think it is probably at the root of the breakdowns. We were loyal repeat customers and they treated us like crap. read more

I have been a customer of ATC for over three decades with multiple homes, today the ATC tech answered my call for service on my main unit. It was the condenser capacitor which the tech replaced in 5 minutes. The capacitor was $5 but ATC charged $265 for the service. It is time to shop around for a new ac supplier and maintenance work as ATC is now in a position of apparently taking advantage of it's customers. Apparently that happens when a company's growth is so great they feel obliged taking advantage of customers. It is really a shame on the owner and his business philosophy as he pretends to be a man of the people. Never again! Another funny thing about this operation is the girl claiming to be the so-called owner only responds to 5 STAR ratings, ignoring all others, and her responses are of 2 or 3 cut'n'paste responses, brilliant. read more

I had a new AC unit installed today by Dwayne and Jermaine. Just wanted to say how happy I am with the service. They showed up on time, went straight to work and did a thorough, professional job. They also went through a complete troubleshoot of all the work when the install was complete. Making sure all the fittings and connections were secure and cleaned the condensate drain lines. I purchased a new 3 ton home unit in April 2020. In three years I've spent $1;500 in repairs. My last situation was a misdiagnosis they caused that cost me $325. Along with a failed compressor that cost me $700 in labor. That along with calling for two weeks to speak with a manager that wouldn't take my calls was it. My advice is stay away!!! read more

I've been using Air Around the Clock for their Maintenance contracts for my A/C for years. Highly recommended; my A/C works great, and I get two maintenance visits per year. They flush the pipes, check everything, and change my filter while they're here. My A/C works great, even during the summer! I'll let you know if there's any update; I'm due another visit soon. read more

I signed a contract earlier this year and had my 1st scheduled maintenance this Friday. I asked him to make sure the line was clear as it has a tendency to clog and the tech told me everything looked good, the line was clear etc. That was Friday...by Sunday I came home to find my ac not cooling and my unit flooding the inside of my house. When I called to request emergency service (was in queue for over :20 minutes waiting for someone to answer) I was told they didn't have any service techs available and the earliest they could come would be Monday. They weren't able to confirm a time for Monday either. EPIC FAILURE...do not be fooled by their advertising and they don't stand behind their contract either. They just plain take your money!!! I will be going to small claims court to get my money back and am now in search of a reliable repair service. read more

Air Around the Clock is trying to tell me that the issues with my (brand new) a/c handler and compressor (bought from AIR AROUND THE CLOCK) is not the new units but that it is the pipes getting clogged telling me that it's the main a/c pipe in building not the a/c. I don't believe what they are trying to tell me. I bought the new a/c (from AIR AROUND THE CLOCK) unit 7 months ago I have had issues with the a/c not working 4 times since the "new" unit was installed. They keep telling me it is the main pipe of the building, not the a/c unit. If it was the pipe in the building then why is NO ONE else in the building having issues?? Then they want to sell me a $1,700 warranty and the a/c tech from Thursday shows up at my front door UNANNOUNCED (no call, no text, no appointment made to come to my residence) to try to intimidate me for the warranty check. read more

I purchase a a/c unit in June 2022. I had to call and have it repaired twice since it would not turn off. The second repair was needed since the first repair do not fix the problem. The unit was repaired and worked fine until this Saturday when the the temperture hit 45 degrees. Unfortunately for us the heat would not turn on. I called the company Saturday morning and was told I would have to pay $195 to have an emergency repair visit. Can you believe after spending $5500 on this unit back In June I would have to pay for a repair visit. I declined and was told a repair visit would be set for Monday . So we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas in a very cold house!!!! VERY SAD! I would think twice about purchasing a unit from Air Arhe Clock. read more

"Air Around the Clock" Service Company gave me an Estimate of $2,800 to replace a $150 Blower Fan, as they said they needed Lift Equipment to lower the A/C unit down from the Ceiling and had to have 4 technicians to complete the Job. I agreed and when they did the work, the technicians did not need the Lift Eqipment and did not need the additional 3 technicians. They completed the replacement of the Blower fan without lowering it from the ceiling as they did the repair with just 1 technician and did not need to Lower the A/C unit from the Ceiliing. The other 3 technicians watched the 1 Tech do all the work as it was completed. They played on their cell phones while it was completed as the 1 senior technician did not need any help for the 1 hour fan replacement. They did not even bring the Lift Equipment from their Truck as it was not needed. So when I ask for a reduction in the price of the $2,800 estimate because only 1 Technician was needed, not 4 and did need the Lift Equipment, they did not reduce the Invoice and still charged me the full $2,800. I was taken advantaged of the Repair as it was very unfair the way they treated me for the cost of replacement of a Blower Fan for $2,800. I will never call "Air Around the Clock" ever again after the way I was treated. read more

They replaced my a/c unit 2 years ago. I am a seasonal Florida resident and since replacement, every year I have to call them because the drain would be blocked. I just had them last week and was told to purchase their 5 year extended warranty which I did. When I read the contract, this is what it said:time. Homeowner paid in full by check #486 of $995 for 5 year extended labor warranty from date of install of 09/15/2020. What this means is that my purchase of a 5 year warranty is only a 3 year warranty since it was from the date of install. I immediately called them to cancel and was told that I will receive a check for only $800. and was charged 195. just to blow air through the drain. What a ripoff. Please be careful and look around before using this company. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I deeply regret that I did not read the Yelp Reviews before I had them install a new A/C unit for my dad in Delray Beach 10 days ago. Since the installation of a new unit, which cost $6300, there have been multiple issues. We have had several different technicians out to deal with a leaky drain line, low freon, and a cracked tray which caused a leak. On top of all of these issues, their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. They are rude on the phone and do not seem to care at all that we are having these troubles with a brand new unit. The supervisor I spoke with did not seem to care whatsoever that we are having these problems and showed no concern for how frustrated I am. I have never ever experienced this complete lack of service. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for A/C installation. read more

Had a brand new unit put in a couple years ago. Last month AC stopped blowing cold air. Someone came out and fixed it. We ended up paying for the repair and purchased a service insurance through Air Around the Click for future repairs. Last night the AC stopped blowing cold again. I called this morning and they are now charging me for someone to come out to look at the problem. This makes no sense to me. If they can't fix it right away, good luck! You will be without A/C for weeks just like me. And with no real time frame of how long it will take. I can't talk to the manager, supervisor, or anyone in charge. Management does not call back. The lady who answers the phone does not put you through to the manager. The manager is completely insulated from the public. They don't have any answers and they don't provide any real information. They have no customer service. They charge you premium rates for service before services are rendered and if something goes wrong, nobody calls to tell you what is going on or ask if I'd like to proceed knowing that my A/C may not be fixed for 3-4 weeks or longer because I really do not know. I have used ATC for 15 years. I have had them install 2 A/C units (3 if you count my dad's house back in '08) and they have done all the service for me over the years. I can't believe this is the same company. I will NEVER use Air Around the Clock again. EVER! Unfortunately, I am still at their mercy. A/C is still down. It's been down since 11/6. When I spend thousands of dollars on "warrantee work", I expect that to come with a level of customer service and courtesy and professionalism. I should have been made aware of the part they can't source quickly and been given the option to wait or move on with another company. Thats my call, not theirs. So, I have remained anxiously waiting for repairs since Monday 11/6 with no real lead time to speak of. Unacceptable performance and 100% loss of a customer. Once this is finally done, I will NEVER use them again for anything. Sad. Frustrating. Completely defeated - but it's all paid for already. read more

A couple of things first I want to say that we've used these folks for years However I am not sure what has happened to the business because they have definitely gone down hill quickly starting with the NASTY receptionist that need to go back to customer service school ! We have a elderly neighbor whose AC went out 2 wks ago we. Called - it took 3 visits and a total of 5-6 days of NO AC in this heat for a 90+ year old widow to get her compressor replaced which was under warranty anyway and was mis diagnosed and when replaced the idiots who replaced it didn't bother to do a through job and failed to check the Freon after they finally replaced the compressor so guess what the AC went out AGAIN!! No empathy or compassion until we got involved to help her get this resolved again. So the moral of the story if you use them beware and stay on top of them and if you're elderly get someone to help u cause they don't care if it's 100 degree out and they've messed up the two times before. I was referred to this company so tried it but wish I had checked yelp first. Rude customer service on phone. Continuously interrupting me and using blanket statements about other companies. Tech did a rushed job in 30 minutes and focused on quoting me a new unit. What they say is covered with a maintenance package was not done so I requested a manager. They sent a senior tech and he did a thorough job. If you do decide to use them and they sell you a unit, they provide a customer discount but the prices seemed high to me even with the discount. In terms of scheduling, you can reserve a date then they call you the morning of to let you know the window to be home. I would prefer to know that ahead of time. When I did my 6month follow up they sent a tech that did a great job and did not try to up sell me so I gave them an additional star. I think his name was Kevin. I would not recommend. read more

Customer service is not! We had been a customer since moving to SOFL over 5 years. Not anymore. Will not recommend this company to anyone. We had two visits by their technicians. We listened to their professionalism and advise and took them up on adding a cold air return vent to make the hottest room in the house cooler. First, they placed the cold air in wrong location leaving ceiling damage. The room is still the hottest room in our house. An unnecessary and costly job with a bad outcome. They never called us back when we called. Another annual maintenance visit recently resulted in property damage to a brand-new appliance. Their response. Don't talk with us. Contact your own homeowners ins. carrier. They may know much about AC and plumbing, but they know NOTHING at all of customer service. If I could give a 0 review for this company I would ! The management team is totally irresponsible and I even feel sorry for the technicians that need to take direction from them. After having a new Air conditioner installed in April , 2023 and my getting ill from a freeon leak that could not be repaired until a third technician finally did a thorough testing and REPAIR. FYI, this was after the manager John "guaranteed the leak was fixed". (Without ever seeing it himself) - 5 days later I was able to move back into my home. Now it is August, my "new"air conditioner is not working. When the technician came he found a blockage in the Freon line that needs to have the coils, if Both the outside and inside unit replaced. He needed to shut the unit entirely which means there is no air until the coils are replaced. The coils are ordered and according to both the "supervisor" Brittany that works with John but is not John's supervisor - ( John will not come to the phone - besides being incompetent, he is a coward " ) , and the phone attendant, describe (verbatim) that protocol of Air Around the clock" is that they are limited by the manufacturer as to when the part is delivered. "Air Around The Clock" will not pay for overnight delivery, even if in record breaking high temperatures, and there is a Senior resident living with no air conditioning for at least another 48 hours. With "Air Around the Clock" money rules, no exceptions. Please don't get trapped by a company that shows no common sense towards customers, has an incompetent management/supervisor team, and that overall is NOT pleasant to work with. The technicians are all very nice however vary in skills and work for a mgt team that does not oversee the work other than remotely even when there are numerous issues with the same unit. Frustrating does not even begin to describe my thoughts on this company. In addition, their prices are average- certainly not the least. I also made the mistake of buying a 10 year service agree from them. I will in all likelihood get my money's worth from that decision. That was not the intent on my part. I bought a new HVAC unit from them in March 2020 with a 10-year warranty. A week ago (Friday, Feb. 18, 2022), I called them because the A/C was not cooling down my home. They found out the motor on the compressor fan had failed. Two techs told me they do not have a new motor in stock but they could install a temporary one and order a new one, and come back Monday or Tuesday to install the new one. I told them to go for it. The tech then told me it would cost me $695. I argued that we are not even two years into a 10-year warranty, but he said the warranty is for parts only and that I have to pay labor and service. I told him no, that's not right. He refused to install the motor until I paid him half the cost as a deposit. I asked him to get a supervisor on the phone so I can talk to someone in charge. He spent a few minutes texting with someone, then told me he could knock $100 off to $595. So I called the main phone line to try to get someone on the phone. I explained the situation to the woman who answered the phone, she put me on hold for several minutes, then came back on and told me that I had to pay the labor/service fee before the techs can install the temporary motor. I insisted that she put a supervisor on the line. I went back and forth with the woman on the phone, being put on hold several times, but she refused to put a supervisor on the phone, she said everyone had gone home for the weekend and that I would have to wait until Monday for someone to call me. I said get someone on their cell phone, I need someone to tell these techs to put that temporary motor in the unit, and that I need this fixed now, not next Monday. Eventually, after 45 minutes, the woman hung up the phone one me and then the two techs told me they got a text from the office telling them to pack up and go on to their next job. I was stuck. I told the guy he's not leaving until he puts that temporary motor in the unit to get my A/C working. He said he can't do it. I asked him how much the new motor would cost if I was paying for it. He said $1200. I looked it up online, and the cost was around $250 if I were to buy it online. I asked him if the temporary motor is a refurbished one, and old one, what? He told me it is an older model they keep in the truck, and that this particular one was in one unit for about a week. I asked him how long that motor would last normally, he said about 15 years. I was stuck, I had to get that A/C fixed. So I told him I would give him $250 to cover his cost of a new motor if he would put this "temporary" one in, he agreed. It took the two of them all of 10 minutes to do that installation. The tech told me as he was leaving that someone would call me on Monday to work this all out. I never heard from anyone. I called the main number on Tuesday, was told no one was available but that someone would call me on Wednesday. It's now Saturday, I haven't heard a word from anyone. My A/C is currently working fine for the moment, and my check for $250 has been cashed. I've been emailed two invoices, one for a $95 service call, another for $345 for the balance of the installation charge to be paid on completion of the work. These people are running a scam. Everyone was real nice to me, they helped me out with financing. I had a positive experience. And that's saying a lot because it's so difficult to find a good air conditioning company that is reliable. They answer calls promptly and anytime I had a question they were quick to answer. I had them come to repair my washing machine, which the technician came by and did his best. He was unable to fix the washer and told me Air Around the Clock would refund me since the washer wasn't able to be fixed. No issue with the technician, only being appropriately refunded. They definitely took a really long time for me to be refunded. We spent 2-3 months calling them where we received the same excuses from their staff . They said "they will connect with accounting and call back". They never did call back. Only until after I left a bad review on yelp they called me back and refunded me only partially..... I don't trust this company , and don't bother calling them for any other services. Seems like a scam service..... also It is not cool to be receiving phone calls or yelp messages from them because they want a better yelp review ..... if you provided a better service you wouldn't have to have bad feedback from customers.... read more

My service technician, Marc, was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I opted to enroll in the annual service plan while Marc was here and now I peace of mind that my AC is in good hands...especially in this Florida heat! read more

There was a freon leak identified under my house that the AATC tech said did not exist. Instead, they did a $1500 repair on a 3 year old Trane unit that had no leaks. The leak under the home persisted and had to be repaired anyway. The company accepted zero responsibility for misidentifying the leak and doing the wrong repair. read more

Very professional company,from the sales department,to the office staff to the installers.Honrst & straight up sales pro's,who will work with you as best as they can to figure out what you need at the most reasonable price.The installers were prompt to their appointment time,worked almost 9 hours on a blazing hot day to deliver & install a terrific new unit,which was long overdue in our case.They explained everything they were doing in a polite, professional & non- condescending way.In other words,delivered the goods,soup to nuts in a very professional manner.Everything is operating perfectly,& they were also very neat & cleaned up nicely at completion of the job,showing total respect for my families home.I appreciate their diligence & professional demeanor,the whole operation,and whold highly recommend this company should you need vital AC service.Thanks guys!! read more
