Jason arrived on the scheduled day ON TIME and let me tell you, he set my mind at ease immediately by explaining what he was going to do and why. He showed me a short video of a unit that had been neglected to the point of barely functioning. Even though I don't use my unit often, I want it to function properly and appreciate the importance of good maintenance. When you have a stranger in your home for four hours or more, it is helpful that they are friendly and courteous and Jason was all of that, plus professional and COMPETENT. He came and check out the problem as soon as he could, knowing that it was important to us. He gets an A+ for accessibility and responsiveness. He is also highly knowledgeable and competent in his work, explaining the situation and solution. He answered questions clearly. The range of his skills and expertise is extensive. In addition to the AC service maintenance, he cleaned three exhaust fans thoroughly when requested. He worked through the lunch hour. He is also proactive, an example - he left a new fan belt in the AC compartment in the event it is needed, and the technician could replace it without delay. The previous owners said they just recently had them serviced... which was a lie -_- When i called, Ilikea (The owner) answered and was extremely professional and set up a time to visit asap. Since I know nothing about Mini splits, I naturally had a million and two questions about this and that and blah blah blah. But Ilikea answered all of my questions and was extremely patient with me. He even let me take video of the crap that he blasted out of my 16 month old's mini split and boy was i mind blown!!! I feel like a horrible parent for even allowing this moldy build up to happen in the first place!!! I cant believe she was breathing this stuff in while she slept!! Thank you Ilikea for educating me about home A/C systems and the bacteria / mold build up that can occur if these systems aren't kept clean. I was so worried and I was not looking forward to the long wait until I received a call back from Teddy of DLD Mechanical. He had a busy schedule but he asked for our location and after checking his schedule said that he would come by during his lunch break and troubleshoot our unit for us!!! I was so relieved!! He made time to help us out, indeed he did but what really impressed me was his organizational skills and prioritizing habit! In order to help him help us he had me send a photo of the model and serial numbers of our unit, the type of issues we were having and he knew exactly what part we needed so he was able to pick up the part before making his way to us!
