The previous owners said they just recently had them serviced... which was a lie -_- When i called, Ilikea (The owner) answered and was extremely professional and set up a time to visit asap. Since I know nothing about Mini splits, I naturally had a million and two questions about this and that and blah blah blah. But Ilikea answered all of my questions and was extremely patient with me. He even let me take video of the crap that he blasted out of my 16 month old's mini split and boy was i mind blown!!! I feel like a horrible parent for even allowing this moldy build up to happen in the first place!!! I cant believe she was breathing this stuff in while she slept!! Thank you Ilikea for educating me about home A/C systems and the bacteria / mold build up that can occur if these systems aren't kept clean. He is also highly knowledgeable and competent in his work, explaining the situation and solution. He answered questions clearly. The range of his skills and expertise is extensive. In addition to the AC service maintenance, he cleaned three exhaust fans thoroughly when requested. He worked through the lunch hour. He is also proactive, an example - he left a new fan belt in the AC compartment in the event it is needed, and the technician could replace it without delay. He has been professional and friendly and communicated any problems we have had concisely. We originally had a leak that he explained appeared to be due to a clog that he could not clear. After about a half dozen service visits (all scheduled due to regular maintenance) the clog cleared! No more leak! We were all pretty ecstatic! Since then we've had a couple of our actuators replaced (the building was built in the 70s) and no troubles at all. Communication with the office is timely and professional as well. Twice a year our split A/C units were inspected and cleaned... so we thought. In August of 2022 we requested an out of cycle service because our Master Bedroom A/C was not cooling effectively. The service technician informed us that the unit was "dirty." Not run of the mill dirty but no cleaning had happened in years dirty. But the tech could not service the unit because he has too busy but his manager would be in touch. Once the main office was contacted. The manager was not available because he had left for the day although it was during hours of operation. The secretary that answered was not able to contact the manager or provide an estimate for the service required. Bottom line is I spent thousands with this company only to realized the service was fraudulent. No not hire A/C Essential Services.

Our A/C in our office went down over the weekend, and it was determined that the replacement part would take a week to get in from our management. However, we had a full schedule of patients to serve and had to keep our staff from having heat exhaustion. We were in a pickle. I called another big player, and got no response after like 5 calls. Ryan from HI Portable Air picked up immediately, shot me over a quote within minutes. Once I approved the quote at around 2pm, he said that he could have the units over THAT SAME DAY by 9pm. I was completely floored. Never seen anything like that in my life. Anything HVAC-related in Hawaii, you're lucky if they can see you the same month. The 1.5 ton units came on schedule and were expertly installed. We could not be more grateful. Thank you so much for helping us out on such short notice. You guys are awesome!
