Originally we had a neighbor lined up who day job is AC install. He had us set up with a good deal. But! Wife just wasn't sitting well and wanted a contractor. So, Standard Air had some truly great customer reviews. So they came, gave estimate, wife was sold on the product warranty . Price point, also was on point of unit and install. They showed up on schedule, punctuality my personal pet peeve! They hit it and worked on routing that we wanted if electrical, drain and location of condenser. We asked their professional opinion, and they said do able! . They did a great job of installing, shared information on care and the "possibles", but this wasn't our first system, but did get some new info we didn't know as well. I called multiple companies to get a deep cleaning split unit air conditioning estimate for several of my ac units in Honolulu, Hawaii. Several other top rated companies sounded over the phone worst than used car salesman just to get some dirty units cleaned with complicated tier pricing depending on cleaning severity and or cleaning packages. Auwe! Luckily, when I finally called Standard Air, LLC owner Palani Chang answered the phone and offered me very competitive and straightforward pricing right from the start, no nonsense. In the end, he gave me a good guy deal that I couldn't refuse to clean 3 units that never been cleaned in years! Mr. Chang uses only the best and most professional cleaning equipment available in the industry. If it's safe for him to use than it's safe for us. Yes, I was extremely concerned on the toxicity levels of cleaning solutions that air conditioning companies use because of the harmful effects of residuals in synthetic cleaners in which Palani DOES NOT USE. Instead, he uses the only all natural botanical cleaner that's 100% effective on all MOLD, BACTERIA, & VIRUSES and 100% SAFE to use for both the applicator and the consumer. I requested service for three bedroom wall mounts, my bedroom was occasionally spitting water and the crew did a very extensive cleaning, the best it's had, and working great now. Two bedrooms on one condenser the wall units were running but not cooling. After a comprehensive check-up, it was determined the condenser and wall units required replacing. Used the Yelp quote requests. Got multiple company's to respond. Standard Air was the first to reply with an actual person not a bot. Made an appointment to come check out the part of my house I needed to be cooled off. A very personable guy named Spencer came out. I explained my situation being a little unique with single wall construction and being on the second floor. He worked with me and gave me great suggestions/advice. The Fujitsu and Mitsubishi quotes came back very reasonable and detailed. I accepted the Fujitsu quote and scheduled the install. Right away they filed for the building permit. I prepped the area like he suggested. So came installation day things went real smooth. The installers were very nice and hard workers. The electrician went the extra mile for sure. I felt very impressed with this company, they did a great job, and highly recommend them! I will be using this company again in a few months for another install in another area of my house.
