From the first phone call, Tobi was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. We scheduled an inspection, and he confirmed the appointment the day before and kept me updated when he was on his way. Tobi was easy to communicate with and very thorough. He went into the attic and confirmed there was no water leaking through the chimney. He even stood outside in light rain to investigate the source of the dripping sound. He determined that the noise was actually water dripping from the chase cover's drip edge onto the metal flashing, which amplified the sound and made it seem like there was a leak. When I asked about replacing the chase cover, he provided a quote without any pressure. Tobi is honest and does not try to upsell services that aren't needed. Mr. Lucky used a terrific appointment service tool that automatically sent notifications of my appointment and when he was on route. He put a big tarp over the carpet, removed the fireplace insert, promptly started my chimneyoscopy with a camera and a flashlight, and cleaned up right and proper. Fortunately my exam showed no polyps of soot or other offending alien material. He fixed the flue so now we can have wood fires...in the summer? What the heck. He replaced the switch, and charged us a very reasonable price given the amount of time he spent troubleshooting. Typically switches either work or they don't, so the on/off behavior was very unusual for a switch. I was very happy with the level of persistence, professionalism, and fair pricing of Lucky Sully's. Our gas fireplace is working great now.

When he told me he was finished, i took his word that he not only did the job we paid for, but cleaned up after himself if there was any areas that needed vacuuming when he was done, in fact, we let him use our home vacuum instead of the ShopVac he was supplied. However, after he was done, and we tipped him cash as a thank you for doing a good job, we walked around the places where he cleaned the vents upstairs, and my wife pulled out our vacuum while showing me the places where she needed to vacuum, that he missed.
