Great insight especially when it comes to our chimney. We had issues with the chimney cap and the flashing in addition to the more routine elements of cleaning the interior smoke conduit. California Chimney Sweep was fantastic! They made a prompt appointment and arrived on time. All of our conversations were pleasant and all of our questions were thoroughly and politely answered. The inspection revealed a number of issues that required attention. Potential sources of water intrusion were meticulously sealed. The area inside in front of the chimney was carefully draped to catch any debris and then a vacuum device was placed in the area. Nothing escaped into the room while the chimney was carefully cleaned. As the work was done they even noted an area around one of our windows adjacent to the exterior chimney that also could be a source water intrusion and suggested that we look into having that area sealed.
