Edwyn, who has outstanding communication skills as well as being very thorough, displayed pride in his work and a commitment to providing an excellent customer experience. It was a hot day in Thousand Oaks and the old HVAC system was in need of attention. Edwyn serviced both the heater and air conditioning system and his attention to the air conditioning produced the cool air we needed to make the house more comfortable. Because the systems are old he provided helpful anticipatory guidance about how best to keep them in the best possible condition to last as long as possible and how to make a cost benefit analysis about when it would make more sense to consider replacement versus making repairs. The price was very fair given the availability, arrival at the scheduled time, time spent educating us and servicing the units, and the end result of having a comfortable indoor temperature. Absolute nightmare of an experience. I spent nearly $29,000 on a brand-new AC system with this company, and it has been nothing but a disaster due to faulty installations. Twice now, I have had major issues. First, my ceiling completely flooded because they didn't install the drains correctly. Then, to make matters worse, tech technicians from their own company came back out and admitted to me that the initial installers didn't properly protect my units. The customer service is just as terrible as their workmanship. When I called them to address these major issues, they claimed they didn't even have me in their system! They actually made me prove that I had paid them. Nearly $29k is a lot of money to spend on a system, and you expect the job to be done right. Their installation is worse than amateur. Do not buy from them. Don't make the same mistake I did--use a different company. read more

It was about time I write this review. This review is simply based on my own experience. First came across this business many many years ago just by doing a simple online search. My father was in Air Force so this is what initially drew me to them. Went to their website and it looked like a nice family run business which is why I leaned further into their direction when making a decision on whom to contact. If I remember correctly my first method of contact was sending an online request for quote or appt. I dont recall waiting long for a response at all. I believe I received a same-day or next day response. Friendly, not overly technical or complicated (thank goodness), just kept it simple. Explained what they do and was collaborative in scheduling a date/time amicable to both parties. First impression - absolutely nailed it. Over the next few years they were my only goto for anything AC related. And it has always been the same technician that came out. Friendly, company branded attire, and always explained things in a way for a complete novice to understand. I pointed out company branded attire which one may not think it that important, but after years of going through a "home warranty company" which sent out techs in stained white tee shirts, khaki shorts and flipflops, having a properly dressed person is now one of the make-or-break qualities I seek from any professional. This brings me to a couple of years ago when my last AC unit completely went out to which there was no fix or revival in the cards. There was only one deliberate choice to turn to. They honored the quote I was given, there was no surprise fee or charges whatsoever. Not that i was expecting those as over the years having been a customer of theirs, they have operated with nothing but honesty and integrity. The team that came out worked in the hot sun and those few moments where I had a few minutes to look at them work, they just moved around each other like it was almost a choreographed dance. Very impressive! They went well above and beyond what was already a high expectation. After the team left, after what would undoutebly be an exhausting day, one would never have known they were even here save for one meticuolously installed/working AC unit. It has now been almost 2 years since the install and i'm coming up to schedule the next annual maintenance appt. One of those rare yearly expenses where I am actually pleased to have with absolutely no reservations whatsoever. This being a family business, I take confidence in that this will be around for generations. Even mentioned this business to my family in Simi should they ever be in need. read more

Jesse's attitude over the Phone was drastically different when my boyfriend (no accent) talked to him vs when I (female, with accent) talked to him. literally laughing at me with a sneer when I got the temp wrong and treating my accent as if I am speaking another language. There are so many companies. Macho racist attitude is not what I look for when I am paying someone for a job. Woman or other folks of color. Find a different place. I've been using Air Force for years. I purchased a new HVAC system in September of 2020. As part of that purchase, if I maintain a service contract with them, any issues with the system are under warranty for 10 years. Well, for whatever reason my blower motor went out on my furnace. I worked with Maria to schedule the service. Edwyn came out and diagnosed the issue. They ordered a new motor and kept me informed on timing along with scheduling the return to have it installed. Today, Edwyn and Kevin were on time, worked diligently to get my system repaired and were very clean and respectful of my home (wore booties, used a drop cloth, etc.).
