I enjoyed my visit from Eric with Landeen Heating & Air Conditioning. He checked everything and gave me good info on my system. He was efficient and he also made sure to replace the filter. I originally called and spoke with Jill who was pleasant to speak with and she set up the appointment and included info I asked about the service. I also asked her regarding mini splits which was nice to hear they could service those for me too. The rate of service fees were better than all other places. I felt they were quite fair. A new Shea home. Everything great except the heating. Our primary bedroom and bath would run up to 10° colder than the rest of the house. Makes it very unpleasant taking a morning shower. Shea sent their heating/AC guy to check it out twice. He even went into the attic. Told us there is nothing wrong - working the way it was designed. We got Landeen out to give us a second opinion. He checked out the ducting in the attic and found the problem. He took photos which we showed to Shea. Shea agreed and OKed the fix. Landeen was able to fix the problem. Had William come out today to put a vent back in in the attic that my Dad said came loose. After inspecting the entire attic, everything was attached. My dad apparently thought because it was so dusty up there, something must have come off. He did find the condensation line needing to be re taped and did so. He was very friendly and efficient. He also adjusted one of the bedroom vents to produce more air for me. Highly recommend, and would use their services again. read more

Excellent experience and would highly recommend for anyone in need of HVAC service or repair. From the moment I called, I was greeted by a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff member, Jill, who gathered information about my problem/HVAC need. I was requesting for a same day appointment, if possible, and she said she would find out, and she did. Just a couple minutes later, she called me back to confirm the available arrival time of the technician who would arrive just several hours later. I had been calling several HVAC companies all morning with no success, and by far she was the most courteous and helpful in every way. Upon arrival, William, whom I believe is the owner of the company, assessed the problem (my furnace was not working properly), and very quickly figured out the problem and in about an hour or so the furnace was working properly! And his charge for the visit was VERY reasonable. A previous HVAC company that had come to my home just two weeks ago, had charged me twice the price (one charge just to come out, and a second charge for a "diagnostic test". However, just several days later the furnace was not working again, so they clearly did not fix the issue). William DID fix the issue. He even discovered and showed me several items that a previous HVAC service tech did not correctly return to it's proper state (such as improperly secured parts, and a ground wire that was not reattached to its proper location!). I am very grateful for both Jill and William of Landeen, for their friendly and professional service. It's been a while since I have had a service provider who actually made me feel important and that they genuinely cared for my best interest. Bond has been my HVAC guy for like 15 years and he's always so helpful and KNOWLEDGEABLE. As a realtor I get to work with lots of vendors this company continues to be my solid go to. Today the home warranty HVAC vendor showed up. Nice guy but he started selling me on a coil cleaning and said there was nothing else he could do because it was unclear what was causing my problem, I called Bond, described my problem, he recommended two possible issues, I told them to the home warranty vendor, walla, that guy agreed that he should replace one of the parts...and still wanted to sell me the coil cleaning. However, I will have Bond out to do that because I'd rather pay a pro! Call him, you get what you pay for :-) read more

Moved into a new rental house in Canyon Country, CA. Hottest day of the year and the downstairs AC didn't work. Had no idea when we moved in. 90 degrees in the house. The upstairs AC unit even froze over because it was working extra hard due to the downstairs AC being completely out. So, that AC unit became useless as well (we didn't know any of this yet by the way). Our leasing company sent a couple vendors to choose from. I reached out to Landeen and accidentally called the owner of the company (on his personal cell phone which didn't make him happy). But he still helped us. He sent Bond (yes that's his name) to our house within a couple of hours. The owner made us priority...on the hottest day of the year so far. 107 plus degrees in Santa Clarita. I told him about our special needs son and how his condition does not work well in the heat due to him already running hot. Osteogenesis Imperfecta aka brittle bone disease is Luke's condition. Not sure if this is why we were made priority, but it doesn't matter. He came through big time! I'll explain. According to this company, we weren't even on the work order yet. So, in theory it was a good thing I called. Bond showed up, assessed the situation and gave us a solution. He also pointed out that the downstairs AC unit was from 1986. Hearing that did not make me happy. Luckily we were able to stay in our motorhome overnight and blast the air on our family to cool down. In the meantime, the upstairs AC unit would thaw out and be ok the next day. We told Bond our situation with our son. He said, "I'll be back tomorrow morning with a temporary unit you all can use until the leasing company gets this issue handled." He didn't have to do this! Around 7:30am, Bond knocks on my trailer door. Talk about being proactive! He then hooks up the temporary AC unit in the family room and checks the upstairs to see if the unit thawed out. It did. He set the temp at a comfortable mid 70's setting and told us to leave it there. We are now currently comfortable in the family room and will be ready to enjoy the upstairs tonight. Bond and the company he works for clearly went above the call of duty! They DO NOT NEED OUR BUSINESS because they are slammed, yet they still went above and beyond. We are so so so grateful for a company like this to exist. I wish more businesses would practice this same model. It's the one thing lacking in today's "cutthroat" modern society. I found Landeen in the local mailing. My air conditioner and furnace was not working. I feared needing a new system. I called Landeen and a lovely, friendly and functional woman named Jill answered the phone. She answered my questions and set up an appointment. A man named Bond came and quickly diagnosed the problem, In 15 minutes he came back with the part I needed. He even bought a back plate so i would not have to paint the wall,because the new unit is smaller than old one!. I am a neat freak, so I really appreciated this. And he wouldn't charge extra for the back plate. Bond was careful not to move an antique table with a heavy fish tank on it. (I did not even think of that, but he worked around that.)
