I used them for several years and was a gold member where they come out twice a year and inspect the a/c and heating system. I cancelled them because they started trying to sell me parts etc. I had second options and was told it was not needed. Thought I would try again. Was told I need need a new a/c unit and a heater replacement around $11,000.00. Mine is 10 yrs old I had 2 other estimates and both companies told me the furnace was fine I do not need to replace it. I signed up for the gold member and was charged $383.00 to come out and inspect the units and maintenance. When I called them back to cancel the membership because They were trying to rip me off and I didn't need a furnace they told me they CAN NOT CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP AND IT IS MY CHOICE TO HAVE THEM BACK OR NOT. I moved into a newly built home in early 2024 that came equipped with a brand new Lennox system installed by Air Innovations, including: +(2) Lennox ML18XC2-024-230 air conditioning units +(2) Lennox ML296UHV furnaces +(2) Lennox iComfort M30 smart thermostats From the beginning, I experienced serious issues with the thermostats. The A/C continued running regardless of the set temperature, and the thermostats displayed incorrect readings -- sometimes showing 76°F when the actual temperature inside was closer to 66°F. Through my home warranty, I had Air Innovations come out to inspect the system. They replaced both thermostats, but the problems persisted. Nearly a year later, under my builder's 1-year warranty, I reported the ongoing thermostat issues again. A technician came out and -- without my approval -- replaced one of my iComfort M30 smart thermostats with a significantly cheaper ComfortSense 7500, which lacked Wi-Fi, mobile control, and all the smart features I originally had. The technician presented it as a like-for-like swap when, in reality, it was a major downgrade -- literally half the price and functionality. I ended up with two different thermostats on separate floors and ongoing system errors. After I raised concerns, Air Innovations called me, took accountability for the mistake, and scheduled a follow-up visit to reinstall the correct thermostat. The owner personally reached out and gave me his direct cell phone number in case I experienced further issues. From day 1 their workmanship was horrible. Purchased a new home with they installed A/C system. They did a horrible job sealing the system from the ducting and blower. Could literally stick your finger in the gaps of the seals on the blowers which in turn caused the system to blow cool air into the attic on top of the improperly hung ducting and pin holes which the humidity levels were well above 90. This in turn caused mold issues and the builder had to do mold remediation. When Air innovations returned to do warranty work they refused to work or replace certain parts because they said we had work done and they weren't responsible for the work. They were the ones to repair and hang the ducting correctly after the mold remediation and the second sealing job on the blowers and replacing the rusted out pans. Then copped an attitude towards my wife. Thankfully I wasn't home at the time. The builder has been fighting with them to do their work which was the cause of the mold issue due to their poor workmanship....I see their overal grading here is 1.5 stars...well deserved... read more

This probably took me about 2 weeks of thinking before submitting this review. My air stopped working and it cost me $291 to get a diagnosis. I was told that he could not find the leak so he suggested that I could purchase refrigerant to determine if he could pinpoint the leak. In this case he would come back in a month. I ask how much would the refrigerant would cost me and he states, "We charge by the pound and it is $175 per pound and you will need 9 pounds of it for your particular unit". I did some math and it came up to be $1,575 dollars to basically determine where exactly a leak is located. After that the average price to get condition coils fix is about $1800+++. So, I would have been out of approximately $3,375 which would have put a huge burden on my finances. At this point I started googling and found similar reviews online regarding this company. After I dismissed the consultant for a pointless visit that cost me $291, I got a second opinion from another company. They came out less than an hour after the previous company. They only charge me $99 for a diagnosis. They were very thorough and spent at least an hour and a half running test to see what the issue was. They took pictures and videos and was able to determine instantly where the leak was located. They communicated with me throughout the whole process. Nevertheless, after 2weeks of having no ac due to part being on back order, I now have AC. People, please remember these are businesses and some business strategies are out for as much money they can get out of you and there are some that are actually understanding and have great morals and values for their customers. Their slogan, your comfort matters. it is a joke. they should change their name to Err Innovations- our profit matters. they dont stand behind their warranty. if it is not my builder staying on top of this, I would probably wait for days for parts and days for schedule. I was told by that manager if i dont tell them to call me 1 hour ahead before tech comes out, tech may come out anytime. I got schedule afternoon but tech came out few hours earlier. this happened twice in a row. they expect you to work with them. -First, their logistic is terrible on scheduling. I called them on Thursday to get a schedule on Tuesday but no time frame and had me call them on Tuesday to know the time. -my AC is few months old and leaks condensate off evaporator coil box. they came out first time, did not fix it or find the problem but told me the evaporator was not installed/leveled right. this type of evaporator is tricky to install and told me it was fixed. I called to schedule the second time because it got worse. they found the problem but no parts. btw, the evaporator was discontinued by manufacture. - the manager first name starting with J (036) told me we suggest you to turn off AC and wait for parts. it could take days or weeks. if you continue to run your AC and cause additional damage, we will not cover. - they can just replace the whole evaporator coil with internal drip pan to get my life comfort. but he told me that is not how warranty work. they want me to turn off my ac and wait for parts. they can replace the whole evaporator coil if i pay them $3800. I checked to replace an evaporator coil could cost like $2000-3000. - they said they did not break the internal drip pan during installation or install defected products. the internal drip pan could be damaged by the other people while the house was built. they cant know if the internal drip pan is broken until someone called them. this is my whole true story. the owner may comment below like " saying sorry about your experience. call us to make it right". I talked to the manager, and he has no intention to make it right. just turn off your AC and wait for parts. and blamed on someone else that broke the internal pan. read more

An Awfully built HVAC system in our new construction home in Katy Texas. The system has not been fixed in over 10 months. at least 6 different technicians have visited at least 7 times and each time it adds a new problem. 3 Technicians came yestersay, I told them what has happened in the past and each time their service added new problems. They worked on the system, made some adjustments and said everything should work fine now. Currently my AC is running 24 hours non-stop since technicians' last visit almost a month ago and the ONLY way to make it stop running is to turn it OFF from the Breaker Box. read more

Did initial installation in my home a few months ago, and with AC never working properly, had them come out twice to see if they could figure out why the system was not working. Was told "look, it is hot in Houston" and about the 20 degree differential. Having lived here longer than the repair guy has been alive, I have never had AC that did not cool to 70 degrees, even when 100 degrees outside. And that theory is blown when I wake up in the morning and the outside temp is 83, but my indoor temp is 76 (when set to 68). The service at this company is mediocre and I'm being nice. This is the second time we've been give a "timeframe" and they can't meet it by one or even TWO HOURS. If you use this company plan on waiting ALL DAY. They show up ONE TO TWO HOURS later than the time frame they give you which means that they don't finish until 3-4 hours after they promise. Then, their technician came to our house, said a full check would cost over $1,000, and frivolously pumped a few hundred dollars of freon into a system with a clear leak. They have a 30 minute call window if no one calls you should call back I did over several times and the same technician was prompted to my address Quincy Jones! Is there half a star available? I called these guys out due to a leaking AC. It got fixed but I was a little angry as they were supposed to call me and give me an estimate first. Instead they fixed it and then called me to say they were done. $162 to blow out a pipe. A few days later I called back because the leak had returned. They wouldn't come back out without a minimum $150 charge even after admitting that the 1st tech may not have repaired it properly. You would think some kind of warranty would apply. In addition, they said we needed to have our coils replaced but yet they never quoted or told us. They refused to come out until we show proof that we had the coils replaced. They took 7, Yes 7 trips to diagnose a leak and ended up charging me over $700 to fix it yet the Freon they put in the system leaked right back out bc they did not do the proper diagnosis the first time. I asked the Company for the money back bc all they did did not even diagnose the problem ... they never called back or even tried to address it. Now my system makes a loud god awful noise which it has never done and they want me to pay another $220 when I think they were the ones who broke it when they tried to fix it. It never made this noise until they were in the attic. Plus they have put off the service call week after week ... it's been hell dealing with them. They came in and checked the problem areas and also addressed the concerns I had about some loud noises that I had heard previously in our system. These guys showed up on short notice to clean our smelly coil. The tech took his time and fixed the problem, and was super nice. They also replaced my mom's air conditioner when it bit the dust. I just had air innovations come to my home for a routine check on my units. They got to my home about 3:30. They didnt even have a ladder, my husband had to get one of ours out and haul it in the house for them to use, they didn't even take it back out of the house for him. The mess they made in my home is totally unacceptable, I understand there is some mess from insulation but this was way beyond normal, no attempt to even try to clean it up or protect anything that was in my home. They didn't bother to even put the cover for the attic access back on correctly so now we have to get the ladder back out and do that ourselves plus clean up all the mess they caused. They left our home about 4:45. They don't give you a receipt right away, they email it to you. On the receipt it states they started at 3 and ended at 5:30. I am not pleased with this company at all and will let everyone I know how terrible they are. read more

I bought my house in 06/2014 not knowing the several mistake made by Air Innovations, LLC (281-830-2412) during installation process 2 1/2 years ago. Recently the entire A/C system fail, so I called "ABACUS" to check the problem, as result of their investigation, their report mentioned more than 10 wrongfully installation procedures made since the A/C was installed and for that reason the A/C unit failed. My main concern is that now I have a big layer of mold/mildew building inside the A/C unit in the attic, plus a possible replacement cost of $3000 to $6000. My Insurance will no cover since it is not a warranty issue or wear/tear, it is a "wrongfully installed A/C unit". After asking several people, I decide to call Air Innovations, LLC to see if they catch with the errors they made in the first place, but my surprise was that they passed without saying anything. The problem does not end here, after the Air innovations technician finished checking the A/C unit, he decide to add 6 pounds of Freon without my authorization at very overprice value, total bill amount was $435.00. I paid with my credit card, now four days later I have not receipt or report of the job performed by "Air Innovations". My main concern is the health of my family since the unit has mold/mildew inside and it needs to be replace, neither the builder or Air innovations are willing to deal with this problem, I can provide report of 2 different A/C companies and pictures taken to prove the severity of this issue Thank you House Owner read more

Advice: choose another company, Air innovations sucks! This company's customer service is deplorable. We have had an ongoing issue with our hvac system for a little over two years, each time we call Air Innovations to come out (for the same exact issue) they want an additional $89 for service. Less than two months ago we paid this company upwards of $250 to finally "fix" the issue only for the heat to go out in less than two months. We were told that anything could've happened inside of that 60 days and that... shocker, we would have to pay another service charge and cover any additional costs if they had to fix anything. I begin to voice my frustration to the receptionist who then told me "I'm not going to argue with you." This level of unprofessionalism is just unconscionable. I then asked to speak to a manager. A manager was supposed to call me back, but after 48 hours we still hadn't heard anything from them. I found this to be absolutely insane because I stressed that we have small children and needed to try to get the situation remedied quickly, because they were getting sick from our home not being adequately heated. It is evident that this company is MONEY HUNGRY! They would rather nickel-and-dime you to death, patching up the issues as they go, until you have to call them back, so that they can charge you again for the issue they claimed that they fixed. Called to have them come out and they gave me a window of 8am-12pm. Told them I had an obligation until 9:30am and said anytime after would be good, meaning the rest of the day. Response was they couldn't guarantee they wouldn't come before 9:30am and would need special approval from Dee Dee the office manager. Never received a return call and followed up an additional (3) times with no call back. Seems like the cart before the horse in terms of customer service. If I can I will give 0 star to thus business. This company is not honest and incompetent. They installed A/C heating units in My 2 years old new house due to builder's selection. And it has tons of problem since day one. Starting from wiring my 2 BD floor unit to 3 floor thermostat. Then I have to refill freon every year. They claimed it was normal for a new house that freon wasn't charged fully and assured me there wasn't any leak and the freon recharge was under the warranty. They actually just tried to hide the problem until it was passed warranty period. Now my warranty is over and freon is low again. I hire another A/C company to find out there is a leakage in the system that should have been found out by any qualified A/C man. read more

My wife and I tried many AC repairs companies in desperation only to be told that they could not send a repairman despite advertising 24 hour emergency service. Lucky for us we stumbled upon Air Innovations. Josh recognized our need and immediately dispatched a fellow Repairman who arrived and had our AC working appropriately. Jose was efficient, professional, courteous and is a master air conditioning diagnostician. He should be commended for such. I would highly recommend Air Innovations and it's personnel for service par excellence and a can-do spirit. We contacted AI on Friday because the motor to the damper had burned out. Air innovations had installed our HVAC system; the part is under warranty. We were told that no one could come until Wednesday ("warranty issue not repaired on weekends or after hours") So we waited 5 1/2 hrs. for service to show. He came with no motor and no instructions to replace the motor. Now we have to wait, again, for the company to get the part and reschedule. This is a very poor way to do business. read more

The HVAC contractor I hired to correct the problem was shocked by the unprofessional work done by this Company. They actually crimped a line carrying refrigerant to the unit. A month and a half after moving in we were having problems and they came out in July and said we had a compresser that needed to be replaced. They never followed up to replace and now in September the unit has died. How a unit that is under a year old and needs to be replaced is a mystery. I have also been told that the units that were installed are 3 tons under what should have been installed. Needless to say I'm not impressed and hoping to get these issues resolved. read more

I called this company because my a/c went out. I got a call from the service technician who said he would be at my house in 25 minutes. I had to leave work and rushed to try and get to my house to meet him there. He called and said he was there and didn't sound like he wanted to wait for me. I get there (all stressed out) and see this kid waiting for me. He goes in my attic and checks out the a/c outside. About 1 hour later he says he has to go to the store to pick up a capacitor that would cost $240. He left and came back a short time later and said he was wrong about the store he had to go to and his office said he had to go to another store to get that part. He obviously didn't know what he was doing. It's pretty clear by looking at the unit that it's a Goodman. He said that the store he needed to go to was across town and closing in 20 minutes. He would have to order the part and come back ANOTHER DAY to put it in. I said no way. You have to fix it today. It was already 82 degrees and getter hotter by the minute. He said he had to leave to go see another customer. He charged me $80 for not doing a thing. I had to call another company that carried parts with them on all service calls. They charged me $189 for the part that the Air Innovations kid wanted to charge me $240 for. They told me about some other issues they found in the attic that the Air Innovations kid didn't even mention when he was there. ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS! What kind of a/c company doesn't have any replacement parts? read more
