We had a water leak and opened a claim through home warranty. Our job was sent over to Air Pro Master. They called me the same day to schedule our service. A few days later, the technician (Josh) arrived he was able to quickly diagnose the issue. Sadly, he didn't have the part we needed to fix the problem, but Josh made arrangements to come back the next day to complete our repair. Today, Josh returned to fix our water leak. We used their service the last 4 years. The first two years they were very thorough with complete flushing out the unit didn't say there was any issues. Then last year after the cleaning with flush they said I needed capacitors on each AC unit and it would cost $300 each. I bought one for $15 and installed it myself in 10 minutes. This year there was no flushing no capacitor warning on either unit but now say we need a new motor on one unit and said it should be "under warranty" so we would only owe the labor ($500) . I contacted Amana and the part is ($300) and NOT under warranty. I will never use these guys again! read more

I had opened a work order through my home warranty company and they had assigned out Air Pro Master for my AC unit. The heat had stopped working on the first floor, dual units. When I had placed my work-order, the very same day, Air Pro Master had reached out to me. They had a opening the same day I placed the ticket in! I was so excited as the first floor was starting to get really cold, around 61 degrees, while the upstairs was mid-70s. The engineer came out. He went and inspected the unit. Initially, all he had to do was reboot the systems a few times, but he did notice incorrect wiring done on the repair from a prior company that the home warranty had sent out. He had scheduled another appointment to fix the wiring. Unfortunately, on the day he came out to fix the wiring, he did repair it, but he didn't test the heat out. The heat had stopped working that Friday evening. We were unable to get him back out to the residence until Monday morning. He had went to the roof, inspected, and rebooted the system. He mentioned that it was the logic board on the AC unit and had requested to purchase a repair part on the unit since it was older. I had scheduled a appointment for the repair. I'm really impressed with the diligence and quick availability of Air Pro Master. The customer service representative was quite helpful and friendly as well! read more

i live in an HOA with a lot of ridiculous rules. This Friday morning 8/2 Air Pro Masters was scheduled to perform an AC condersor change out in partnership with my home warranty. Upon Air Pro Masters arrival I personally explained the safety and "do nots" in this HOA community. I've been written up and fined by the HOA because other contractors don't listen do what they want. Changing thermostat setting from winter to summer, our rooftop AC/heater unit was not blowing out cool air. Our Home Shield warranty sent out Pro Air and John K. was the technician. He was very knowledgeable and worked professionally to restore our unit to perfect working condition. He quickly found several discrepancies and did the repairs in less than 30 mins. He accomplished a temperature differential inside the house (filter intake vs vent output). He showed us pictures of our unit's bad parts and the fan motors, the fuses. My home warranty company got me involved with this company. They had to change my Compressor. The unit failed within days due to having a low level of refrigerant and not flushing the system property. I missed their workmanship warranty which was a whopping 30 days. It wasn't without effort but I finally got them to take care of the bad install they gave me. The tech that came for that was in the defense from the moment he entered my home. I was on edge because their previous job failed costing me a lot of money in lost rent, travel, service calls... etc. I asked the tech who was pulling a vacuum on the system why he wasn't using a vacuum gage to verify a proper vacuum was being pulled. He gave me the single most unprofessional response I could image. He got very defensive hurried up and finished so they could leave. On top of it he was training another tech... oh boy. The management has tried to straighten this out but then after the last visit they went radio silent, seems like they gave up. I would say they are trying to do better but obviously some of their staff is not yet on board. I would say if you have a choice, choose someone else but if you don't have a choice, pay attention, do your homework, know what the job consists of ask questions and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! In the likely event their work fails you can hold them accountable. I certainly will if I need to. I give 3 stars because the system is currently still working and the General manager gave an effort to fix the situation. read more

Vanessa, a receptionist, took my call yesterday, January 18, 2022 to schedule a recall appointment through my home warranty. When I spoke to an agent of my home warranty (also on 1/18) to discuss that the technician AirPro sent wasn't able to fix the heating issue not once, but twice, that they would relay a message to AirPro to send out a senior technician to do the third followup. Vanessa confirmed three different times that my appointment for 1/19 was with a senior technician. To my surprise, this morning, they sent out the same technician! Oscar is obviously not oblivious to the issues, nothing personal with him, but if he couldn't figure out the issue, maybe a fresh set of eyes could make a difference. The "after-hours" agent I reached at 7:50am this morning of 1/19/22 was rude. I called to find out why they were sending out the same technician and the boy couldn't give me a direct answer. Oscar spent ten minutes looking at the unit again and decided he would order a new control board. Let's see where this goes. So I called a couple hours to have a chat with the receptionists and to confirm when this control board would be arriving. I went over with Amy a supervisor receptionist, what I mentioned above, and she denied any voice recordings of my conversation with Vanessa confirming my bad experience. The receptionists are dishonest and rude. And all I want is to get my heating fixed. We haven't had our second floor heat working for over two full weeks. read more

If I could give it a zero I would! I don't know how they are with air conditioning, but as far as plumbing, it was an Air Pro DISASTER! This is worth the read if you need plumbing fixed. I had a leak in my master bath faucet. I called my Home Warranty company and they sent this company. The guy came out, he was nice and complimentary of our home. He cut a hole in our ceiling in the kitchen below, and said he found the leak. He cut out the pipe, replaced it and said it was fixed (after an additional $350 for "special parts"). We started using the faucet and still leaking. We called APM and they sent him out again. He cut a bigger hole in our ceiling and said that he found the leak. It was a line next to the one he "repaired". This time, he cut out a big hunk of piping and said he had to take pictures and to get insurance approval to fix it. Should he not have gotten approval first? He went out to his van and was apparently waiting for approval. I went up stairs for a few minutes. He came back in, cleaned up, and left. He said nothing more to us. What he failed to tell us was that the lines he cut included the shower and bath. My wife went to take a shower and it created a flood in our kitchen. I called APM and spoke with Erik. He took no responsibility for this! I called their office, sent an email and they wouldn't get back to me. I had to get the Contractor's Board involved. I contacted the Home Warranty company and after complaining to the BBB, they said they would send them out to finish the work. APM REFUSED to come out and fix it. The Warranty company sent out another company. The plumber that came had to rebuild all the pipes the first guy cut out. On top of all of this, the actual leak was originating from the pipe on the second floor. He found it within two minutes of inspecting the area. I would stay far away from this company for plumbing! read more

These people are the WORST!!! Home warranty is supposed to help you save some money and get your item repaired. 4 days I have been waiting for information and nothing. I called on Saturday, talked to a gal that sounded like she smokes 3 packs a day so it was hard to understand her. She kept over talking me. They wanted to charge me a ton of money and add-on stuff I don't need. I get it, companies hate doing business with home warranty companies because they don't make much but it is a necessary evil. But to take and over charge people for something that they can buy 2 of at the hardware store is ridiculous. It is companies like this in Las Vegas that make people go without or do it themselves.
