Angie and crew are amazing! They helped fix our compressor 2 years ago. They were honest and provided the necessary detailed information needed. No fluff, no marketing etc to have to deal with. Fast forward to today. I had them come out again. They're once again helping to deal with an ongoing issue with the tenant not following maintenance instructions such as ensuring filter are replaced. She was told 2 years ago the filters needed to be replaced and here we are again and she is being told filters needed to be replaced. Additionally, the thermostats are set to 62 degrees which she was advised was too low and could blow out the unit. Unfortunately, here we are again dealing with issues with the AC. BEWARE OF FAST AFFORDABLE AIR - Ripoff Happy anniversary! it was 2 years ago on 7/22/24 that your service team came out to look at my air conditioner that froze up during the 120+ degree heat wave we were experiencing. On July 22 2024 I was told that the main unit was shot and needed to be replaced (only needed a fan motor) and was also told that the downstairs unit was also on it's way out, then I was handed a quote for $30,277.92 to replace both A/C units. Skeptical ?? I called another company for a second opinion, during their inspection the service man discovered that the Schrader valve caps had been recently removed on one of the units causing the A/C coolant to leak out. (typical serviceman's trick) I called the office of FAA immediately, the office manager sent a different service man out to pump up the coolant and put the shader valve caps back on the unit. The other unit just needed a fan which was replaced by my home warranty company. Since the service call with Fast Affordable Air on July 22, 2024 All is well and healthy with both of our units to date, it's now two years later 7/24/2026 In closing I say this: Even though this company gets good reviews I wonder how many people replaced their A/C units unnecessarily without knowing that they may have only needed a minor repair. Nothing to complain about here. I will admit HVAC in general is crazy expensive, but the team at Fast Affordable Air are great. They are incredibly responsive and seem to be able to always squeeze me in for servicing if needed. They always explain the problem in detail, along with options. Also, their service call charge is reasonable, and they always apply it to the cost of the full repair if you move forward with them. That seems like a fair and reasonable policy. I've worked with different techs from there (different units so you don't think they do shoddy work), and I've had great experiences with all of them. They really seem to take pride and care in their HVAC craft, something I really appreciate. If you have HVAC needs, call Fast Affordable Air (or at least spend a bit to get a second opinion). When we first moved to Vegas in 2015, my AC units needed servicing. I checked Yelp, and had several companies give me quotes. Most recommended I get everything replaced for thousands of dollars. Fast and Affordable, (not their name in 2015), not only told me I didn't need to replace my units, that they could fix the problems for a very reasonable price. Over two years ago, we did finally need to have the A/C units replaced, which I had them do. They were competitive and did a good job. Fast forward to July of 2026. Out downstairs unit was blowing hot air. Sam came right out and replaced a few things (capacitor was one), for a charge of approximately $450. I'm thinking that's a bit pricey for a 1 - 2 hour visit, but probably the going rate. The next night, the upstairs blower was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. I called the company again, and to their credit, they sent Nathan out right away. He determined we needed a new blower. Fortunately, the unit was still under warranty, we just needed to cover the labor cost. Fair enough. A few days later, Nathan came to the house and installed the unit in less than 45 minutes. The labor charge was over $500 !!! I called Angie right away about the price, and she assured me Tom would call me, since we've been a customer for over a decade. It's been over two weeks now, and I never received a call. To say the least, I'm very disappointed. I can no longer give this company the 5 stars I gave them in the past. They have grown so much since we moved here, it seems they no longer care as much for their loyal customers. I can honestly say they are still FAST, but NOT SO AFFORDABLE. read more

My HVAC was blowing but no cold air was coming out. This of course happens on a Sunday when everyone is closed. I normally service my unit with another company but prior experience and constant upselling left a bad taste. I decided to try Fast Affordable Air after looking at reviews on Reddit. A technician was dispatched to my home later in the day. He was able to diagnose the issue as a busted condenser fan motor. Unfortunately he didn't have the correct model for my unit in his truck and supply stores were closed since it was Sunday. He asked me what would be a good time for me the next day. Came back , installed the part and everything has been working fine since then. A few highlights for me after having my unit serviced with another company for the past few years - 1) technician was knowledgeable and didn't feel like a salesman. He walked through his troubleshooting steps and showed me why the fan motor was busted (it was hard to spin). 2) I wasn't pressured in to buying gizmos to make the unit run more efficiently. I've learned that beyond changing your filters and keeping your condense coils clean - there isn't much you can do to prolong the life of the unit. The components either work or they don't. 3) Pricing was almost 50% cheaper than competitor. My neighbor had her fan motor replaced and paid $1100 - I only had to pay $685. Of course there's a markup because they had to troubleshoot and install. I think this is reasonable and fair. 4) felt trustworthy. I don't mind paying for things but I hate being hustled. I felt the technician was trustworthy and was a straight shooter. This goes a long way with building a rapport. Overall , very happy with this company. They got me back up and running in the middle of the summer for an affordable price. I will be using them moving forward for maintenance and probably unit replacement when that time comes (my unit is 14 years old). read more

Needed a new mini split in a guest room off our main house. Contacted several companies through Yelp and had them come out for an estimate. We told each one what the room was used for, how often, etc, and that we didn't need a super duper expensive one. The bids came in and sure enough, Fast Affordable came back with a super price. I called them back to see if we could get the NV Energy rebate for the model we were quoted on, and it didn't. So we upgraded for $600 to a higher Seer level model which is more energy efficient and had NV Energy foot the difference which was a lot!!! They took care of all the paperwork. read more

They gave the best pricing compared to other quotes I gotten and their techs displayed and had done quality work. Their annual membership was also a great deal for two maintenance checks per year (one for heating and the other for cooling) as well as covering labor in the event of anything going wrong with the HVAC they installed for 10 years if you keep the membership going. They have a customer for life or at least as long as we live in Vegas and have control over hiring an HVAC company. Everyone has different experiences, but here is ours. We primarily worked with Ardie (sorry if spelling that wrong) in the office, Allen tech, and Sam (tech). Ardie took her time to explain everything to me like i was a kid so it made sense. Allen didn't jump right to saying replace our unit like 2 other companies did, but instead said lets put a trace to see what's going on, and Sam was courteous, efficient and rounded off our journey with seeing if anything was truly leaking. 1st: they were our 3rd HVAC company to come out. They were the first to say lets see what is actually going on because it looks like your low on refrigerant, but other than that everything else looks good.They didn't jump to automatically replacing the unit because the refrigerant was low. 2nd ALWAYS get at least 3 opinions for things. All we did was pay for 'tune ups'. We were first told YOU HAVE to replace your unit with no offerings of a fix for the summer or what was broken. They did say refrigerant looked low so we MUST have a leak. We were than told by 2nd company you NEED to replace the unit, but here's almost 2500$ in repairs you can do to make it through the summer and advised refrigerant was low and should be refilled. The third company never once mentioned the unit HAD TO or NEEDED to be replaced. We were advised refrigerant looked low, but that before any thing, they recommended finding out what was leaking because there could be several reasons why that was. Lastly, all 3 companies didn't know we had each of them come out for maintenance, I have 2 friends who used to work HVAC, a father in law who is a general contractor who knows a lot about HVAC, but none are licensed in NV. Everyone (friends, and FIL) said Do not replace the AC. Get multiple opinions even if you have to pay a 'tune up' special a few times, and dont tell them about each other. That is what we did. Which led us to Fast Affordable Air. Also their reviews were good ND they were already scheduled before I git suggestions on another company from friends. Thank you guys for being honest, thank you for wanting to diagnose before jumping to our unit being broke beyond repair. Thank you for taking the time to explain to me what it may be after seeing that it was only a pound of refrgeramt low vs 3. To all the techs that helped us, thank you. My MIL's A/C went out and after spending 24 hours trying to troubleshoot it myself I finally called to get a tech out. When I called I spoke with Ardie who was extremely kind, professional and relatable. Instead of immediately going for the sale she asked what was going on with the unit/what I had already done. After I explained what I had done she gave me some suggestions, but offered to have a tech come out same day if need be. I asked if I could make an appointment for Monday and then cancel if her suggestion solved the issue, which she said is more than fine. To be clear I haven't used their services yet, but given her response and willingness to try and find a solution to our problem prior to paying for services I'll be recommending this company to all of my family/friends. Everyone knows money is tight and having a company offer assistance free of charge speaks volumes. *Edit: We ended up having a tech come out to check. We were told the tech would be there between 10-12 and Jason showed up promptly at 10am. He was also kind and extremely professional. After explaining the situation, he gave me a breakdown of what it could possibly be and then offered to show me how to check the problems myself in the future. I mentioned that I was having issues with the AC at my house as well and he also gave me some advice on how to try and troubleshoot those issues. After about 5 minutes he found that the system was working properly, but not at 100% efficiency. Once again he did not immediately push the sale, was upfront with the pricing and gave me several options. He also showed me his work and broke down exactly what was happening with the unit. Since I work during the day, I requested an evening appointment and they were able to fit me in early the following week of my request. Nathan was my technician and he was great. Very personable and no up charging or sales gimmicks which I appreciated greatly. Knowing my 18 year old AC unit is in good working condition for another season puts my mind at ease.
