Took a look around the store, and saw quite a few things I wanted to add to my cart, but decided to wait for another day. Staff was helpful as could be, and checkout was easy. They had lots of specials going on, and the shelves were pretty well stocked despite having just finished a major sale. The Van Nuys location is a bit smaller than some of the others, but I haven't found it to be lacking anything I've needed, so I can't complain at all. This chain remains my favorite hardware store to browse, and I appreciate the niche they fill.

Employees are very helpful, attentive, nice, welcoming and very knowledgeable. They know where everything is. It has a vast selection of items that people need and everything has its own price. Some things are even on sale. Walked in yesterday at exactly 2pm and was helped by a lovely lady by the name of Isabelle. She wanted to know how she could have helped me? What was it that I needed? I told her that I needed few items for my house. After she listened to my requests, she literally walked me to all the aisles that carried what I needed. Needed a Dust Buster and they had 2 different kinds. A regular one (39.99), and more of an advanced one for ($59.99). A long broom, a Lavatory Strainer for a temporary fix until our plumber gets the actual part to come and fix my bathroom sink. Then I saw a Pop- Up Stopper. What it does is that it closes the hole in the sink for hair, food, residue, not to clog up the sink. We also needed a small bbq grill (4th of July being right around the corner). Got that too. A toolbox with all the right tools in them. Had Red and Black. Got red..one of my favorite colors. Every now and then, something breaks down and either myself or my son has to fix/repair them. Honestly this store has everything for your house, car, office needs. I also got some cleaning supplies for the house. 409, Lysol (pack of 2), and Tide. Store was nicely organized, clean and fully stocked. Aisles were very easy to navigate. Big parking lot and I believe restroom/S too. Didn't have to use them. Thank you Isabelle, Anwalt, and management for making my shopping experience easy, seamless and effortless. For all that I paid less than $160.00 including tax.

They are not one of the big box stores, so they're not gonna always have everything you want, but they will help you search every aisle to potentially find it or possibly something similar. I'll start off by saying I really like this place and only found out about it after my dad told me about it. I had been going to Lowe's or Home Depot for sprinklers, drip irrigation, etc but now find myself driving from Simi Valley to buy the parts I need. They have a large assortment of sprinklers, I like the 4" pop-ups and the variety of sprinkler heads they carry, and especially like the different options they have for drip irrigation. Like I said, I used to buy my stuff at the big box store but now find I'm replacing the stuff I previously installed with the brands they carry. This place is for pros, you'll see gardeners heading in and out of this shop all day; however that doesn't stop the staff from giving you the time of day and answering your questions. I find I learn something on each trip and expect I'll continue to visit this shop for my landscape equipment needs.
