However, this Ace hardware is closer to my house. So for simple things, like screws, wall fasteners, anchors, spray paint, etc... This place does really really well. It's also very large, especially for an Ace hardware. They have a great selection and they have multiple sections. They also have a really large selection of like griddles, grills, and smokers. Everyone who works here is friendly. However, this is what brings this location down to a four-star review. While everyone who works here is friendly, they're not always helpful. And there's a couple of ways that they're not helpful. The first is that it's difficult to find someone who works here. They're understaffed in my opinion. The second reason they're not always helpful, is that they don't always have great knowledge in the questions that I've been asking. I'm a fairly handy person, but I'm not a contractor, and I definitely don't work in a hardware store. But I've been very surprised at the number of times that I've actually found somebody to help me, and then they weren't able to help me. Either because they didn't know, or they were unsure of what I was asking about, or they just weren't able to help me to find what I was looking for. But overall this is a great local option If you don't want to drive further to a Home Depot or a Lowe's. And don't go to Lowe's.

Needed a Dust Buster and they had 2 different kinds. A regular one (39.99), and more of an advanced one for ($59.99). A long broom, a Lavatory Strainer for a temporary fix until our plumber gets the actual part to come and fix my bathroom sink. Then I saw a Pop- Up Stopper. What it does is that it closes the hole in the sink for hair, food, residue, not to clog up the sink. We also needed a small bbq grill (4th of July being right around the corner). Got that too. A toolbox with all the right tools in them. Had Red and Black. Got red..one of my favorite colors. Every now and then, something breaks down and either myself or my son has to fix/repair them. Honestly this store has everything for your house, car, office needs. I also got some cleaning supplies for the house. 409, Lysol (pack of 2), and Tide. Store was nicely organized, clean and fully stocked. Aisles were very easy to navigate. Big parking lot and I believe restroom/S too. Didn't have to use them. They are not one of the big box stores, so they're not gonna always have everything you want, but they will help you search every aisle to potentially find it or possibly something similar. In-store service : 5 Stars…read more Delivery Service: 0 Stars ( im a health care provider I had to go home to check up on my family member due to be feeling unwell after the bad experience they received) Had a family member to receive new appliance. Delivery driver had a foul mouth , disrespecting a family member just for asking a question . For approximately 20 minutes. It is deliver driver job to install appliances if fee was paid , but instead this unprofessional man was cussing , and mad that he had "to work" and stated he was being harassed by an elderly family Member . My family member was scared and not comfortable with ruthless human ,being inside the home . (Luckily everything was recorded on security footage incase things escalated) Appliance was also delivered out of it's box (had only styrofoam on the corners)and protective film had been removed I hope Lowe's is doing background checks when hiring, professional people. This individual only spoke Spanish using profanity and broken English . Definitely not a professional human . The man on the phone told me he did, so I got there in time to buy it. When I got there, he opened the package further (as it was already opened) to compare the two- and he said it would work. It didn't. I went back to the store and told the owner that the one he sold me was incorrect. When I asked for a refund, he stated that "there was a part missing from the top." It was not missing anything. The model he sold me was slightly smaller in length and was the incorrect part number according to Lowe's (which did sell me the correct part). I told him it wasn't missing any parts, but he called me a liar. He saw the item was new and unused, proving him wrong. When that didn't work, he said he won't refund it because the package was opened. It was... by him. I watched him open it. He called me a liar again. I went to my bank and disputed the charges- and was told I'd be issued a refund, and Granada Hills Hardware will have the charges reversed. Nobody likes to be called a liar. It could've been real easy, but your pride got in the way when you didn't like to be proven wrong. Now, I get to keep the cartridge, and a refund of $59.12 through my bank... and you get to keep a 1 star yelp review. Was it worth it?
