Why would I drive across town just to find out they don't have what I need, or are closed for a holiday that some recognize and some business do not? I bought paint there and lots of it. Seems I should be able to call to see if they can make me some more touch up paint of the same exact color. But if the only phone number they make available is one that will not provide you the option to talk with someone (and make it obvious), then they are essentially saying they don't care about your business. read more

Customer service is horrid. Walked in there and realized I left my wallet with my husband who was at the restaurant in the same, but I had to use the bathroom badly. Asked if I could use the bathroom first and then run and get my wallet. The incredibly rude and unfriendly lady at the front desk goes, "Our policy is you use the bathroom after you pay." Needless to say, I never came back and will never buy anything from them again ever. Now they lost a customer forever over a quick use of their bathroom. Bad business. read more

Came by this store the other day to buy some paint, first of all let me say it was extremely busy. I waited to receive my paint for almost 30 minutes as there was only one employee at the front desk. All the other employees were inside this little room laughing while a bunch of other customers were waiting to get their order taken. Some of those employees looked like they were managers. After selecting 4 exterior colors for my house AND buying 4 samples, I went back 2 weeks later only to be told they don't have the paint in ultra premium exterior. After checking w/Encino they didn't have it either. The last thing I wanted to do (with gas prices so high) was drive all over the valley to find paint. So I went down the street to ACE HARDWARE and they matched all of Dunn Edwards swatches in BENJAMIN MOORE REGAL. Eleven gallons total. I was there about 5 or 6 times during past 2 months. I like the staff being friendly and professional. However, each time I was told to go back in 1 hour to pick up the paint. I got there 1-1/2 hour after, and the paint was not even made. I had again to wait for another 30 min. inside the store. This has happened at least 3 times. I came back to the store to change the color and the staff was not accommodating. They acknowledged their mistake then told me I need to purchase an entire new can of paint. Saul and his whole crew are the reason for my five star rating. I have a big, messy, tedious project and have had to come to the store numerous times for help and for supplies. Each and every time the customer service is outstanding. All the employees I met were helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and mask wearing! This is a high volume store & I want to particularly recognize Yanil, the professional color advisor, who works at this location. Her services are free and she is very talented. I have worked with her selecting paint colors for 2 exteriors and, each time, her color recommendations have been phenomenal. Home project can be stressful enough. Going to this store made it worse! First time...3 girls standing just talking, did not make eye contact or effort to acknowledge our entry. No other costumers there!! Waited about 30 minutes for 3 samples!!! Second visit...Fatima was there thank God! She quickly took our order & got us out within 15 min. Third visit today....we enter the store and not one person acknowledged us. 2 contractors were getting some coffee, employees (2) were at the front register ringing stuff up i guess??? Waited for about 5 min before anyone said anything. Finally the girl at the front says "did you take a number???" A number????!!!!! We look back and it was only us standing there! Store empty!! And you wait 5 min to say that?? Well then we waiting another 10 min until someone took our order! Grrrrr! So finally we see Fatima (only nice, professional employee there) she gets us out of there within 10 min after asking her for our paint. She definitely knows customer service!! First time in a Dunn-Edwards and couldn't be happier. Their knowledge of paint and color combinations surpassed anything I got from Home Depot or Lowe's. I've heard better reviews on their paint too, so came in for a sample. Painting the house, so will need good paint. This store is the best in my book. Went in today to have 2 different colors matched and mixed. Walked in at lunch time so was prepared to wait. Stephanie walked right up to me as soon as I came up to the counter with a big smile and asked if she could help me. This was at 12:40 PM. She took the information and sent my order to the master paint mixer in back. I paid for the paint, walked around for what seemed to be only a few minutes, and at 1 PM Stephanie brought my 2 quarts of custom mixed paint to me! Only 20 minutes from the time I walked in the door until I walked out. Now that's service! Everyone there was so nice and extremely helpful. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! P.S. I went in here looking to touch up some spots in my condo. The painter I hired originally used Dunn Edwards paint and he gave me a small bottle full of paint to touch up with but it was now empty. The salesman matched the color but he sold me a gallon of the most expensive paint they had and it didn't match the sheen. It was much too shiny. My husband and I have been very happy with this Dunn Edwards for the last six years. I first came to the store when I opened my office and the paint I had chosen was ridiculous. Mike helped me find the perfect color for my office, and thanks to him I was able to fix the situation. I now have a beautiful office and get compliments to this day. The color choices are truly beautiful. Since then we have returned to Dunn Edwards, and MIKE, for all our painting needs. When we stuccoed our house, he helped us find the perfect color for our exterior house trim. We have repainted interiors throughout the years, and Mike's choices always surpassed our own (though I hate to admit it). Now we are remodeling, and of been in the store several times looking for the right colors for our new rooms. We really trust Mike's keen eye to help us find the perfect color. In fact, the entire staff has been extremely friendly to us and we feel as though they are family. They're very professional, the customer service is great, and the paint quality is lovely. This location is not the most organized products display wise but the service I received from Raul, assistant manager, was great. He was extremely patient and answered all of my questions. Tony is the man!! My husband and I have a little one on the way and we're trying to get the house painted before her arrival. Picking out paint can be difficult but then also figuring out what texture for each wall is even more challenging. Lucky for us we had Tony helping us and he told us exactly what was needed and even walked us through options we didn't know existed.
