Spoke with David who let us know the owner had taken the car home. We let him know we were interested and would pay cash. He said he'd call the owner and get the car back down to that side of town and bring it to us to review. He kept his word and within a few hours we could view the car. We liked it and gave our offer and that is when the issue started. He let us know how much the wanted our the door which was way more than blue book and thousands more than what we wanted to offer. My husband let him know what our final offer would be - we heard a lot of the owner paid too much for it and have to cover taxes fees etc.. but no leeway on price - so we were just not interested further and then we were told - we should have told him beforehand what we were going to offer cause this was just a waste of his time. To me - this is the worst thing you can say to a customer. I don't care what you say or do now I don't want to buy the vehicle. I am a waste of your time. No worries - outta here. Very upset I walked away and thought we were done. Since this happened - we have heard back from them with a lower offer on their end. Still were not interested. Saw that they lowered their price online. Owner has since gotten a hold of my husband and apologized for the comment of his employee and let us know about lowering the price for us if we were still interested. So while I was extremely upset and frustrated with them because of the comment and being overpriced - I do appreciate that they have gotten back to us and apologized for the comment.

Not pushy, explained things well, and had very comprehensive paperwork identifying a couple of minor things they found. Really nice time and I will definitely be going back for regular maintenance and for an addition of a short shift kit and new steering wheel install.

BEWARE - Cash customers…read more Twenty year old car with not even fifty thousand miles, showroom condition except for a small scratch on the front bumper and a couple wheel dings from a spicy curb or two. I did not use this facility to paint my bumper, I didn't even take the car in physically for the quote. I sent in a few pictures for a quote and Chapman decided that they needed to report damage to Carfax. I am not anti Carfax, I just don't think the scratch warrants a report and I would have liked to have known that simply asking for a quote would elicit such action. I am pretty annoyed for sure, but I would be enraged if I ever intended to sell this car. I thought others might like to know before making contact with Chapman. Cheers

They were able to restore my Chevy trailblazer and fix up all the cosmetics as well. They were able to get it fixed and ready to drive my Christmas Eve, it was one of the greatest gifts to receive due to how much I rely on my car.
