    It's so sad that the Dick's sporting goods located at the Pacific Common has been closed early this year. . It just so happens that i have to return an item which i bought online. Now i have to drive extra 10 miles to go to their other store located at the Great Mall in Milpitas. Good, online shopping is better and good value too. Bad? On these location employees ate not at all accommodating, you got their frustrated face cause there are two of us returning an item. The cashier "Daniel" man, if you don't like your job find another one. Hopefully this issue will be address so that I might enjoy shopping more in store.

    Dicks sporting goods is a good place for Athletics and yes I'm an athlete. I bought a nortrack treadmill here and it's been working great ever since. My son plays basketball and we've bought a lot of shoes sports clothesports and ect. This store is humungus They have a lot of selections of all sports From clothes to shoes to equipment If you love sports and love sports equipment then this is a store for you.

    I am giving DICK's 5 stars because they have come through for us during the pandemic in completing our home gym. Yes, they sell out faster than they get weights in, but they're helpful in letting us know what delivery days are and we go when they open and over a few visits, we're able to get everything that needed - hexagon weights (most of the weights), olympic weights, and then bosu ball, and power chair for abs, pull-ups and triceps. In the beginning, one of the store managers in south SJ wasn't great whatsoever with customer service, but the Milpitas and Concord store have been helpful and made up for it in providing information and in us being able to buy what we need. The prices are good per weight as well, which is great because everywhere else is charging double. We'll keep coming to visit and see what else we can buy.

    We went to return the items bought from online.I am writing to express my deep concern and outrage…read moreregarding a profoundly disturbing experience I had at your Columbia store located at Great Mall in Milpitas, CA. What should have been a routine return of a few online-purchased items quickly escalated into a humiliating, disrespectful, and frankly alarming incident that has left a lasting negative impression of the Columbia brand. Upon arriving at the store to process the return, the cashier was immediately rude and dismissive. Rather than assisting us courteously, he treated me with suspicion and hostility, as though I were attempting something fraudulent. Without offering any explanation, he called over additional staff to inspect the return -- making me feel publicly scrutinized and accused, without cause. The situation worsened dramatically when the store manager, who identified himself as Donovan, got involved. His behavior was shockingly unprofessional and disrespectful. When we asked for clarification about why we were being treated so poorly, he claimed--incorrectly--that we were attempting to return more than 10 items, which was simply not true. He then demanded to inspect my phone to verify the credit card used for the online purchase. While I cooperated in good faith to resolve the situation, he proceeded to browse through private sections of my phone, including my account information and unrelated order history, without my permission. When I objected to this blatant invasion of privacy, his response was dismissive and increasingly hostile. When I rightfully asked for an apology for the incorrect accusation and invasive behavior, he escalated the situation further by threatening to call mall security to remove us from the store, effectively weaponizing his position rather than resolving the matter professionally. He also declared that he could refuse service at will, regardless of company policy or customer rights. He then flatly denied the return without legitimate grounds. This incident was not only humiliating and disrespectful -- it was a violation of basic customer rights and personal privacy. We have never been treated in such an aggressive and unethical manner by any retail staff in our lives. The conduct displayed by both the cashier and the manager was hostile, unprofessional, and deeply damaging to the Columbia brand. We have filed a formal complaint with Columbia's corporate office (Case #000552987), but I feel it is important to stress the severity of this matter. If this is how customers are treated for simply making a return, I can no longer in good conscience support or recommend Columbia products.

First, I came to the store because I want to do return. At the same time, I found other item that I wanted to purchase. Then, I asked the staff to do return and purchase separately. It seemed like she asked the manager some questions regarding the return. Next, she did the return and purchase in one receipt. Done, I left the store. A week later, I changed my mind and wanted to return 1 item (on that same return and purchase receipt) and noticed only store manager can authorized the refund. He came to the counter and got explained from his staff about I was using store credit to purchase. He started giving me hard time. He did not deliever a professional customer service skill nicely nor problem solver to customer. He was yelling at me and asked "Do You Know What Are You Talking About" in front of lot of other customers. I tried to explain the confusion of returning and purchasing on same receipt using store credit. He ignored what I was trying to explain. He kept underlying item on the receipt and asking me lot of questions. He gave me the feeling that he looked down on me cause I am Asian while he is white. I felt that I got discriminated by him. To store manager, I come to purchase, and I am not begging for anything. Please, act as an adult and be professional to suite your title. To Columbia: great products, but bad managing staff crew.

    Had a broken White's® Metal Detector and instead of sending it back to the factory for repair, we…read moredecided to see if a local vendor would do a trade-in or maybe just see what else was available―since this one was over twenty-years-old. Looked on the White's website for a local dealer (https://www.whiteselectronics.com/find-a-dealer/) and this was one of only two that came up in the South Bay. They have extremely limited hours per their website (Wed-Fri 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. & Sat 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.) so we schlepped on up and arrived around 930ish. Had too hunt around a bit (haha) for the building and the entrance, as it's located in a rather non-descript business park. Evidently security is real tight here, as you can't even gain access into the building w/o being buzzed in. Damn you, Al-Qaeda! Anywho... Buzzed. Waited. Buzzed again. Waited some more. Finally decided to call the phone number, and it went straight to a voicemail box that "hasn't been setup by the user." *le sigh* -_- Honestly not sure if this place is open or if its closed?? If they are open then they do a piss-poor job of keeping their limited hours and setting up a simple voicemail box. If they're closed, then I wish them luck in future endeavors. We stupidly didn't bother to call ahead since the website, Google & Yelp all listed the same hours & that the business was open & active. When we arrived & couldn't find the sign on the door we called to discover a disconnected phone line. Please update your business online. Super bummed :(
