Wish I could give another half a star more. It was very busy. Tables were either dirty or full. I was pleasantly surprised that the food were actually very tasty and good quality. We ordered sushi and it was so good that I ordered it again the next night. This was comparable to our favorite sushi restaurant in the Bay. Compliments to the Chef at Grand Hyatt!

Came here during San Diego Comic-Con so I definitely understand the wait time and service is slower. The pepperoni pizza was pretty standard but nothing spectacular, we had a green salad which was good, and the peanut butter tart was decidant rich but good. Ambiance? Well the Grand Hyatt is very nice so the Landing gives the same vibe.

We had a great burger, chicken wings, and cocktails. We love the staff, they are treated us very well. It's big, roomy and has TVs to watch many different sports and it is well lit. They had a burger called the HULK, looked really good, I saw people eating it but I just can't think about eating a green bun, lol. I WISH I could see peoples faces, It kind of freaks me out that I can't, it putting them at risk to wear those all day. Thank you Maria, Dina, Cale & Juan I WOULD RECOMMEND.

Super casual, relaxing vibe. The service is excellent! All of the servers were extremely friendly. The food was delicious, and the drinks were tasty and potent. The Even Keel was the best martini I've ever had.

How did I miss this place?…read more Friends have been telling me about this place for years. Saying it's one of the best Happy Hour places in downtown. Now after my first visit I would have to agree. I get there a little after 4:30 on a Friday and it's completely packed. Luckily somone just left the bar and there was the only empty seat in the place. I start off with the beer and which shot and ordered the pork-chop which looked like half the bar patrons ordered lol. My bartender was Jose and even though the bar was at capacity he was quick to help me out. The food came quicker than I expected. I couldn't believe how good the pork chop was. Better than most steakhouse chops I've had. Had an amazing texture and taste like it was right off the gri I love the fries as well skinner than average and a good crisp to them. No soggy fries, those are the worst. The place itself is nice and has a dark date night ambience to it. At the same time could pass for a local dive bar. Lots of regulars were in there. For a pork chop and drinks and to get out under $30 is a great deal! I highly recommend this place!!!

Make a reservation if you know this is your destination. They have some spot on Tiki decor and the staff here is really friendly, happy to share their favorite drinks, or make suggestions based on your likes. If fruity drinks are not your jam... what are you doing in a Tiki Bar!! No really, they have great options for on the rocks or straight as well as ordering your favorite cocktail or beer. They have a ton of options, all sorts of alcohol bases depending on what your vice is, they also have non-alcoholic drinks for those so inclined. Hard to pass on a Mai Tai or a Zombie to start your evening off. lately I have been enjoying the Eastern Sour which is their take on a whiskey sour. It's always fun when someone orders a bowl and the room shakes and the lights flash with thunder and lightning adding a bit of excitement for first timers. Just to recap: Don't get mad if you have to wait and did not make a reservation. While they have lots of options, most drinks and all specialties are Tiki Drinks. Tiki drinks can be strong, mind yourself. If a place like this is not your vibe, that is fine, head back into Craft & Commerce, make room for others who are waiting to get in, just have fun!

From the spooky, dark, skulls old school ambiance and decor, to the experience of not ordering from a menu, everything about it made it feel unique and curated making it feel like a true individualized experience. We were there celebrating my friend's birthday, so we were really excited to have a fun night, but the service was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. The staff came across as rude and inattentive, and it honestly felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there. For a birthday dinner, that really put a damper on the entire night. It's frustrating because the food was actually good and the restaurant has so much potential. If the service matched the quality of the food and atmosphere, this could easily have been a five-star experience. Unfortunately, the way we were treated overshadowed everything else. Parking is a nightmare good luck finding parking within a mile of the restaurant. Pros: atmosphere, drinks, service Cons: food wasn't great for the price, restaurant was small and crowded, no parking Service: All of our servers were friendly and very accommodating. Gave us some knowledge on the menu and recommended cocktails based on our preference. I had spilled my drink and they were quick to make me another one. Food: I had intended to get the prime ribeye cap steak but they ran out for the night around 8pm. I shared the steak sampler which came with four different cuts of steak and 4 sauces. I ordered medium and it was cooked medium/medium rare which was fine with me, it also had a good sear, almost burnt though. Out of the four steaks, we only liked two based off flavor and tenderness. The other two were more tough and gamey. None of the sauces really stood out but the bordelaise and horseradish were good. For our sides we got fries, roasted broccoli, and the grilled wedge salad. Fries were average. The roasted broccoli had really good flavor, I expected the broccoli to be al dente but it was cooked to mush and drenched in sauce. The grilled wedge salad was decent, there was a slightly bitter taste to it. I know it says grilled wedge but the experience of biting into the salad and it being both hot and cold was not pleasant. Cocktails: I tried the Honey Ryder and New Wave. These were recommended as the more fruity/sweet cocktails. You can definitely taste the alcohol but it's only 2oz so it's not too strong. Ambience: 10/10 I got seated downstairs by the bar. Only thing about downstairs is that it's too dark to take photos unless you use flash. Overall, I agree with the other reviews saying to go just for drinks and appetizers. I would go again just to sit upstairs and get drinks and take pictures. We left unsatisfied and ended up getting in-n-out after.

We were seated quickly and our service was impeccable all evening! Began with some cocktails and their bread and butter service which was perhaps the best anywhere! Warm, soft Parker house roll that was simply perfect, served with garlic butter. For appetizers we had the best crudo we have ever had! It was absolutely perfect with the freshest fish and perfect dressing, we also enjoyed the Uni spaghetti which I loved and I am not the biggest pasta fan and the farmers market fruit salad. I don't eat meat which was fine as they had a pretty spectacular sea bass topped with caviar and served with mint and peas. I will say that their cocktails are amazing and we decided to go with cocktails for the night. Every single cocktail we tried, we loved. They also have a wide variety of brands on different liquors. My boyfriend likes bread, so we decided to order their bread and I love steak tartar so we ordered that as appetisers. We like to start with a salad so we decided to share a Caesar salad specially after we saw them preparing it to the table next to us. The Caesar salad is definitely a must and it was our favourite. I had never had a Caesar salad that actually used anchovies and I loved it. The steak tartar was good, but not the best I've had. I did like that it included the yolk on the top and the chips were good and it had a good flavour but it just seemed a little too salty for me. We had a ribeye steak to share that was perfectly cooked medium rare and the butter was delicious for the sides. We had the truffle fries and we had the onions on red wine. The onions were my favourite part of the sides. I could not leave without the dessert and we decided to go with a banana foster. They do a table side show that was amazing and it was a delicious dessert. Service throughout the night was great. Overall, I will say that I will be back for Drinks and if we decide to have a meal here, I would definitely get the Caesar salad the onion on red wine side and the banana foster. The steak was good, just not great I would be willing to try a different cut or protein. For the pricetag, I would've expected everything to be great, which is why four.
