    Seafood cobb
    Connie X.

I'm generally not a fan of hotel food, because it's extremely overpriced. This place was no exception. BUT given that my aunt and I didn't want to walk out in the heat to find food, this was actually a decent life saver. Menu is pretty limited and focused primarily on drinks. But I did manage to find something that I'd like: a seafood cobb salad with crab and shrimp (also came with bacon, but I requested that off my salad). Overall, the salad was actually pretty tasty. The crab and shrimp tasted surprisingly fresh, AND they use ripe avocado! :) The only downfall is that for the portion I received, I felt outraged that I was paying $26 for it, not to mention that my aunt and I waited a whole hour for our food to come. Nevertheless, I was blown away by this place.

Baja Turkey Club & strawberry margarita
    Anita W.

Great location, convenient, and delicious! I ordered the Baja Turkey Club - needed more "Baja"/spice etc... but it was still very yummy & HUGE!!! I'm a big eater & could have split it & the crispy, perfectly salted sweet potato fries! Very reasonably priced for the quality, quantity & convenience of nice dining pool side. The strawberry margarita was a bit in the pricey side at $11 - but it was scrumptious!

Great Fish Tacos and Frozen Drinks!

I had the pleasure of eating here while I stayed at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront for a work trip and I wasn't disappointed! The seats and location was comfortable (right on the water basically), the food was good, and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Fish Tacos, Sweet Potato Fries, and a Frozen Margarita for lunch. Both were good, but the salsa that came with the fish tacos was the bees knees (I want the recipe)! Overall, it was relaxing and enjoyable!

Warming up next to the fire out

Very cool to just chill. We're hanging out by the pool with old school blues and warm fire pit. It's too cozy under this full moon. We were here to wait for my friend's daughter from the MagCon, which i called "madness convention" for highly energetic boy crazed girls, but it was nice to see other moms and parents there enjoying the time as well. The ambiance was nice and romantic.. Until u see the crowd of teenager running around and screaming.. Lol. Thank God for cocktails? It kind of blur the craziness. Lol.

    Great ambiance!

Water and fire! A low firepit wall is the first thing you see entering the Hilton's new Pool Club to the side of their bay view pool. A friend and I were quite impressed by the decor of the bar - cozy lounges, wicker tables, high backed chairs to curl into. White, yellow and magenta. Kind of a modge podge that merged really well together. It was a chilly night and I wish the firepit wall was an actual firepit we could have huddled around. The special of the evening was $5 Skyy Vodka cocktails. We ordered mules and were given a mix of vodka, lime and ??? and were presented with a bill for about $7.50 per drink. An extra dollar for a cocktail the bartender said, and gratutity included. -- as we walked away to explore the pool area, the bartender came running after us with a bottle of ginger beer and offered to remake our drinks. Phew! A PROPER mule. The kids part of the pool had a movie being projected on the wall, but no sound. Food prices looked a little steep. $14 for nachos? $9 for TJ hot dog? But it is the Hilton. Great ambiance. Food and drink, so-so.

Wow! Marissa was amazing! Love! I spilledmy drink and bam! New drink! ! Then she brought it too me in the pool! 3 marissa!

Amazing! Marissa was wonderful! This girl is not only beautiful but knows her shit! We loved her! I even knocked over my drink and she got me a free refill! Then she brought it too me in the pool! Thank you marissa! #udabest #canweorderpizzanow lmao!

Cozying up with the boyfriend, in front of this cute fireplace.

Awesome place to cozy up by the fire and enjoy a glass of wine. Love seats are surrounding a cute little fire pit, with ottomans to put your feet up on and blankets to snuggle up under if it's chilly. They don't have very many special drinks to order from on the menu, and the wine list isn't very extensive. But, nonetheless still a good place to go if you want to just hangout, and enjoy some quiet time at night. The pool is located right next to the lounge, so during the day I can see it being fairly loud with all the screaming children playing in the pool. So, not sure if this is a place you want to be early in the day or early evening.

It was a good mix of people dressed from casual to dressed up in business attire. I ask the bartender if she can make me on those margaritas they had when Guy Fieri was promoting the Santo Tequila and she said yes we still have some of that left. So she made me a margarita and it was really good. The tequila goes very well with cocktails. I then realize it was bartender that was in the video with him. She was very nice and the price was very reasonable for a rooftop bar. Couple funny things I met a couple guys from Boston as well who sat right next to me. We were kinda shocked that they had the heaters on as it wasn't that cold. At least for us lol. Again for a Friday I was shocked it was not packed. I was told during the games it is standing room only. I will definitely be back 100 percent!!

Started with the Mango Shrimp Ceviche and it was 10/10. Fresh shrimp, good flavor and balance of sweetness & citrus... but what stood out the most was their delicious fried tortillas that came with it... never had such a satisfying crunch from a tortilla! The spicy chicken sandwich was one of the best we've had in San Diego. DEFINITELY coming back for it. The tacos were mid, though. Not much flavor and the carne asada tacos didn't have much to them, meat was a bit dry and could've used more toppings or sauce of some sort. One of our blackened fish tacos came extremely close to completely raw and we sent it back. They didn't apologize or anything but just brought one fresh one that was cooked. That's the only reason for my four star rating. Our waiters were extremely nice though, I do think they are still figuring things out as we sat for twenty minutes waiting for a server because they didn't know whose table it was. It wasn't busy at all at that time. Overall, absolutely coming back for the drinks, views, and that DELISHHH chicken sandwich!!

Our group was surprised as is was 2115, it's been open for about an hour and a half and packed. As you enter this old law office down a staircase one would find the "speakeasy statutes/rules" to maintain the 1920s atmosphere-- we loved the setting, the people, the drinks, and of course the live music!! One would not be disappointed. The cocktail menu was on an old record, which I thought it was so clever. Back to the rules, seems pretty easy! They mention to keep an open mind with the drinks as they do not carry vodkas, redbull, Budweiser or bulls**t. Mentioned a dresscode, more so be classic and states be respectful and don't be a di*k. I couldn't agree more with the rules. I don't think there is good at this establishment, as our group just came from dinner I wasn't looking for food. Just spirits, live music and a good time. Multiple bystanders witnessed his behavior but failed to intervene, assuming it was just "relationship drama" After the man finally left, the venue's security completely misread the situation. Instead of checking on my well-being or ensuring the aggressor had left the premises, security targeted and chased me as if I were the problem. It is incredibly disappointing and dangerous for a business's security team to lack the basic situational awareness and training required to identify the actual victim in a situation. I felt entirely unprotected by the staff here. I hope management takes this as a serious sign that their security team needs immediate retraining on bystander intervention and de-escalation, rather than harassing women who are already in vulnerable situations.

I explained that I wasn't "talking to myself" I was reciting music (my own or somebody else's , as I often do karaoke). He said "Ok. I'm still not letting you in." with an attitude. What the hell? As soon as I asked about changing to a bigger table, we were accommodated no questions asked. Now that we're comfy in a bigger space, we started ordering drinks. Unfortunately my alcoholic beverage wasn't very alcoholic lol, however, we ended up with a free alcoholic drink since the server delivered one to the wrong table. They also missed delivering a coke for someone at our table for most of the dinner. While I make mention of these things, I'm not saying we had a negative experience. Our server was phenomenal, he even massaged my mother's arm when she complained about her fingers locking up. His service really was everything. Because the food... hmmm... Some of us started with a wedge salad which is easily enough for 2 people and very good. I shared a 28 oz ribeye with hubby, and it was decent, not great, but it didn't suck. Would a pay $115 for that again, no. We also ordered just about every type of potato on the menu, mashed, tater tots and hasbrowns. They were out of the hashbrowns which i was really looking forward to trying. The mashed were AMAZING!!! Even better than my own. Very buttery and smooth with hints of citrus (according to someone else, I didn't taste citrus). The tater tots, also very good. The sauce they came with was spicy, but a good accompaniment. In addition to most of the potatoes, we also ordered all the mac and cheese. Before I review this, I am admittedly hard on restaurant mac and cheese. It's almost always more of a mac soup with hints of cheese and cheese on top. These mac's are similar, except they are garlic heavy. Now while I understand the rest of the world loves garlic and wants it infused in everything, GARLIC DOES NOT GO IN EVERYTHING. Mac and cheese should carry a cheese flavor, be cheesy enough to get some cheese pulls and not be bland. The not bland part really only requires salt and pepper. IDC IDC, if you are making mac with onion, garlic or any other powder, it's not being done right. They then finished us off with some chocolate cake and a piece of cheesecake to celebrate my husband, both were good. My only other issue, I can't help but compare this to Mastros. The prices are similar (STK is more expensive with some of the items) but the quality is not. One thing I missed that we get at Mastros is having all of our leftovers boxed up by the staff and brought to you in cute little bags. All in all though, it was a cool experience. I won't rush to do it again, but will probably be back. One last note, be sure to ask what comes on/in things if you have allergies or dislikes. They do not list out all ingredients on the menu.
