Our boiler from the late 1950s finally needed to be replaced. We certainly got our use out of the Weil McLain unit. It served us well but had developed gas leaking valves that could not be replaced. Airtech was contacted because they had installed baseboard heating in the basement some years ago and did a good job. Airtech was out the next day after the initial call. They assessed the old unit and the following day had a new Carrier boiler installed in 6 hours. Superpro job, the new boiler kicks and heats up the house in no time. Though it was an expensive installation, I am very happy with the work and friendly crew which did a great great job. They were the most patient and didn't try to have me pay for something I didn't need. Purchased an entire HVAC system. Ouch!! The vendor was on time for the estimate. Responded to my questions in a timely manner and never made me feel stupid. Before the installation, the owner came out to do a final walk thru. The day of the install, they arrived on time. Told me what would happen and got to work. The install was completed at 5pm and all was working well. They cleaned up and hauled everything away. I will recommend. read more

Years ago, the furnace was replaced via the airport soundproofing program. That left us with a heating system that I used to say that I could freeze ice on the first floor and bake bread upstairs at the same time. Although there were just a few reviews for AirTech, each review had a lot of information and I gave them a call. I am happy to report yelp has hit another home run for me. AirTech sent someone who showed up exactly when they promised, and the work was great. The tech was polite, and explained everything he was doing while he was working quickly to fix my unit. $142 just to show up and find problem with A/C. Blower not working correctly, need new control board. They will call me the next day with a price. Get price quote next morning of $460 including installation. Figure they got me by the short hairs, say ok. For the hell of it I look online, found the exact replacement for $155. I cancelled appointment. A control board is not difficult to replace, maybe 15 minutes. It would have been $600 total all said and done. Pffft, Why cant people charge a honest reasonable price! I would avoid them if I were you. read more

Not being able to ignite the pilot light on my furnace I called Airtech Heating and cooling. The kind and knowledgable gentleman who answered the phone said that he did not need to send someone out because he could walk me through it over the phone. How wonderful to offer this service to me over the phone and free of charge!!! He began to step me through, but as hard as i tried I could not light it. Sensing my frustration he suggested that i send him a text with a photo of the inside of my furnace. Even allowed me to create photo, send and call him back in ten minutes. WOW....!!! I could not light it because my furnace has no pilot light. The gentleman i spoke to was able to trouble shoot and confirm the service required from a photo i texted him! He sent out a repairman with the correct tools and know how to fix the igniter and warm my house. Very satisfied and impressed. Would call them back for any HV/AC needs I may have in the future. read more

The furnase stopped working during the coldest night of this winter. We had to sleep without heat . I called airtech instead of another one we used before. (We had same problem about 2 months ago. We called a repair man near our house. He replaced 1 part of furnase (fan) and charged me $300. He said we need to change few more parts and it costs another $600. We thought that the price too high. So we just paid $300. After repairing the furnase, it made terrible noise.) Quang came and he fixed our furnace. He was very kind and knowlegable. quang replaced 3 parts of furnace and charged a lot less. Before he left, he cleaned up all the dirt. Now, the furnace works very well. No more noise. Airtech is great until they need to honor their warranty and stand behind their work. Three service calls for the same issue in 10 months! When we determined that the same part kept failing, they would not honor the one year warranty for the part they installed 10 months ago, but would be happy to replace it again for another $720! After going back and forth with another very well-known air conditioning company for a couple days regarding the issue of needing a 30 foot ladder and a specific appointment time, my husband and I were fed up. Our air conditioning had not been working for a while, and we really needed it fixed right away due to the extreme heat. He called Airtech, and within a half hour, Quang was at our house with a 30-foot ladder (which was no problem). Within another 40 minutes or so, our air was working, and our house was getting cooler by the minute. Due to the time of day (9pm), he came back the next day to do some general maintenance that he couldn't do at night. He was so nice and courteous, and he always checked with me before installing anything that would cost a bit more. We couldn't be happier with the service and the cool air in our house!
