Edwin is The Man!!!! Our 1965 Furnace wouldn't come on when it got cold. We bought the house end of June and Gas Company had to turn off gas to furnace when house was tented. Gas Company was backed up. It's getting colder so we called for Heating Company to help us. First "Used Car Salesman Caricature" Wannabe, "Chad" from Clark and Son, came out and said "our heat exchanger was cracked, just look up here!" He also told my sister that we also could change out all our ducts cause they're a little dented. For amazingly Low Price of thousands of dollars. That company is distributor for "Goodman". That's furnace wanted to sell us. Michelle looked it up on line and Furnace was $821, wholesale from multiple sources. So she asked for breakdown on $3600 quote - parts vs labor. They refused to break it down. Due to quick check and House Inspectors' report telling us in writing that "heat inspector" can only be visualized be taking unit apart. (Which Edwin concurred with when I said I'd looked it up on the Internet - white lié. Told him the truth after he responded. Michelle knew she was being treated like she was stupid. So time for second opinion. Edwin came spent an hour. Told us clicker - like on stove - wasn't working. Cleaned it, like you do a battery terminal on a car - and Voila!! We have heat!!! It maybe a dinosaur and on borrowed time! But thanks to Edwin it still runs! Now when it REALLY needs to be replaced we know who to call for a Fair Estimate on new heater. He was first misled by the technical support from the manufacturer of my water heater and spent a lot of time working on a complicated and expensive solution to a seemingly simple drainage issue of the exhaust. When he was almost done, he discovered a valve and a potentially much simpler solution. He called the technical support again and confirmed the alternative solution. This is the third time we've used Airworks. They always respond fast, and their technicians are friendly, professional, and explain things till we're satisfied we understand the issue. They're tidy too! This time Sam fixed our old-fashioned floor heater with minimal fuss - a lever wasn't moving all the way into position, so the heat wouldn't kick on. So the days of our air duct cleaning and system repairs have come and gone. It has take me a few days to decide how I wanted to finalize this review. I would say the overall result is still a five star review; however, the reasons are due to the front line employees rather than the owners or supervisors (at least in my experience). This review is a bit long so please feel free to grab a cup of coffee before reading. My schedule was to have a tech(s) arrive on a Monday morning, completing a full day of work. Michael was also supposed to return on this first day since he was my point of contact with the company. This had been agreed upon and promised by scheduling. The duct cleaning crew would return on Tuesday for any necessary follow up. On Monday, I did receive a text that the tech would be here between 8:00 and 10:00. While they have a link that allegedly allows you to track your tech, in my case the link only provided a map with my house on it. I couldn't actually track where the driver was, as I have been able to do with many other companies. I received a second text at 9:20 advising that the tech was 32 miles away and would arrive in 45 minutes. When the tech, Jesse, arrived, he introduced himself and advised that he was only scheduled for a couple of hours to do prep work and then would return the following day with a tech to complete the job. The tech who was assigned to do the job with him was out, so AirWorks only scheduled Jesse for the prep work. I called the office to find out what had happened with the schedule as I had moved appointments from Monday to Tuesday and the rest of the week in order to accommodate this job. I will say that I had originally scheduled Friday and Monday as my days. When I changed to Monday and Tuesday, I was advised that Monday would now become the full day of work and was promised that Tuesday would only be used as necessary. I spoke with Crystal who advised me that they had a couple of techs and schedulers call out sick or were out due to an emergency. Jesse's partner was out and Michael was away on an emergency. I asked why I wasn't advised about all of this in advance. Crystal advised that she would get in touch with scheduling and have someone call me. I did receive a text message from Amaris about 30 minutes later. She did not want to speak to me but rather talk with Jesse. The long and short of that conversation was there was no way to get anyone else to our home that day. Without a second tech, even if they brought the necessary machine, all that Jesse could accomplish was the prep work because the machine was a two man job. Crystal did try to get another supervisor to speak with me but that wasn't very helpful. The calls came in after Jesse had finished all that he could do. The first person (Katie?) hung up on me without getting any information from me, not rudely, but she did hang up. I then spoke with Carmen. She tried to be very helpful; however, she kept explaining why the company made the decision on Friday to change my schedule because it worked for all of the employees who would be out on on the Monday. To be honest, my frustration was the caused by the fact that Carmen didn't seem to understand that the customer (me) was never considered throughout these schedule changes and didn't seem to understand that I should have been one of the first people to be considered. The next day, Michael, Jesse, and new tech named David arrived early and began working. Michael took on some of the work upstairs that Jesse originally had on his schedule, so the full day turned into a shorter day with everyone done and gone before 3:00. The crew members were all very personable, professional, and hard workers. They cleaned up everything when they were done and asked numerous times if there was anything else we wanted them to do. As I said earlier, In my circumstance, the front line crew saved the day (or the job) rather than the company. One things in which I am still disappointed in is that fact that this company is listed as "family company" and yet no one from the family (owners) has ever reached out to us regarding the inconveniences. Had it not been for the efforts that Jesse and Crystal put in on Monday to try to salvage the job, we probably would have cancelled the entire contract and looked for anther company. Michael is also a very professional and an excellent representative for the company. He did everything he could to ensure that Tuesday was handled as expeditiously as possible without compromising the final results. I would suggest that the owners put a little more effort into knowing what is happening day to day and reaching out to customers when things fail on their end. While this might not have been a big job for AirWorks, it was a great deal of money for us. read more

STAY AWAY! Incompetent. We went with Airworks because they assured us they could install AC using our existing lines. Price was agreed upon and work commenced. After a full day's work I was notified the existing lines won't work and had to pay another $1000 to install new ones to finish the job. They never thought to test existing lines before stating they would work just fine. After end of work first day, we had no power in our baby's room or master bedroom! They had cut wires during their installation. It took the electrician 2 days to find and fix. Once the job was finally finished and we had AC we thought these people were out of our lives for good. No such luck. 3 weeks later I have water leaking from my ceiling and into the drywall. Come to find out they also dislodged some plumbing during the installation and caused a slow leak that built up and eventually caused severe water damage. The owner of the company came to inspect the damage and tried to stonewall us and not fix their mistake. He was rude and abrasive. Only after I threatened to file an insurance claim did they accept responsibility to fix the damage they caused. Communication was a chore. Multiple calls with no call backs. There's plenty of AC companies out there. STAY AWAY FROM AIRWORKS. read more

I took time off from work to meet with this company at the scheduled time. Very unprofessional! When I investigated this company further, I wasquite surprised to see the number of one-star ratings for the same or similar problem. How does this company rate a 5-star status with an overwhelming number of serious one-star reports? I think Yelp needs to revisit their methodology to calculate company ratings and give weight to one-star history and serious repeated poor business practices. I'm glad I checked out this company a bit further to realize that this company does not rate my or anyone else's business. I literally can't speak more highly of a company than I can about AirWorks Solutions. Special shout out to Sam. These guys came out on a service call to my home in 2021, after the HVAC system original to my 1981 home started throwing off water. Sam diagnosed the problem as being the condensation drainage pipe, which bizarrely came up from under the ground, and had been clogged by dirt and debris. He got that cleared out. He also asked if I'd like an estimate for a new system, to which I answered "sure". A few days later, Michael came to my home and produced a quote and answered my many questions. Michael is a straight shooter, which I appreciate. In April 2022, I decided it was a good idea to buy a complete new HVAC system. Between inflation and industrial parts shortages, not to mention the hot summer rapidly approaching, I got in touch with Michael, who honored the 5 month old quote. A week or so later, technicians spent the day removing our ancient 1980 system, and replacing it with a new system, which includes a Nest thermostat and a built-in air purifier. While the technicians replaced and lengthened the condensation drainage pipe, it turned out to still be a problem. The first day we turned the new system on, in June, it ran for 15 minutes and stopped. After trying to figure out the issue, I gave up on a very hot and humid Friday night and called the AirWorks Solutions phone number, expecting to leave a message and a call back on Monday. Instead, Sam answered the call and came to our home that Friday night, about an hour after my call. Sam discovered the drainage pipe was not clearing properly, and that that design of a pipe simply did not work as needed. He spent 90 minutes achieving a work-around to get us through that weekend, and explained that the system requires a water pump and re-routed drainage to be truly dependable. He left us saying that he would speak with the owner and with Michael to get our problem finally resolved. Flash forward three business days, and a technician arrived to install the water pump and re-route the drainage into our washing machine's drainage pipe. AirWorks Solution did not charge us for Sam's extensive Friday night service call or the add-on work to make the new system truly fail safe. I am grateful to this company and feel 100% that these guys are the best. read more

Things started off better than average, great even. The rep was responsive and accommodating which is more than the vast majority. Then things began to slide. Once we finally got installation booked after multiple tries, the team was clean, respectful, and efficient for the most part. The issues really began when the installation team left....leaving holes in our ceiling from multiple attempts to locate studs using screws into the 100-yr-old plaster (no stud finders I suppose?), open vent holes that were cut to the wrong size, dislodged can lights, cracked plaster around those, and a broken electrical panel door. They also didn't program the system to perform with the accessories installed so we weren't able to get it to work correctly. Zero support was provided but many offers to upsell other products rather than troubleshoot. We don't expect flawless work but we do expect teams to report and be responsible for damage caused and provide technical support for the product installed (or correctly install it the first time). It's been *months* since the installation. We've had to contact Airworks multiple times to complete the work yet they've asked for full payment more than once. We. Have. Holes. In. Our. House. They finally sent "handymen" who were unprepared for the work despite us sending photos of everything and a full day booking request. Those jokers not only complained multiple times about not getting paid by Airworks to complete the work but left the ceiling repairs they did covered in dirt with the light fixtures visibly plastered to the ceiling. All of them. Beware y'all. Yes, the system itself is operational. Yes, they installed it fairly neatly not counting the damage. If you're looking for above-average customer service (and are paying for it as compared to multiple competitive quotes), this isn't it. Don't say you weren't warned. read more

They were very professional and respectful of our property with floor coverings and care. They installed all new insulation, wiring and ductwork prior to furnace. I am a general contractor and my hvac company I normally use was too busy this week so I decided to go Google and find a local company. I figured whoever puts their face and their children's face on the side of their company vans must be good and I was right. I called in at 7am thinking I was going to leave a VM and they answered right away, they schedule me in for the same morning and EDWYN did a phenomenal job. We took the time to go over the components of the system and provided one preventative recommendation that we will be doing sometime next week.
