We had a GREAT experience here! We stopped in for a late night drink/grub around 11pm after the clemson and App state game. We sat outside on the patio. The weather was amazing; the music sounded good out there. and there was just one other couple seated a few tables away. Our server took a good 10 or so min to get to us; but once he did he was AMAZING! We can't remember his name but he was a little older; had a grey beard; and semi tall wearing a carolina gamecocks jersey. He was very friendly; recommended great drinks and food to us. Was very knowledgeable of the menu. He was attentive and checked on us regularly, brought out the food quickly and never missed a beat. The food was your average pub style food; but it was GREAT as well! I got a chicken ceaser salad and it was a 10/10! My boyfriend had the ultimate bacon burger with fries; he said it was good and rated it an 8/10; he said it was cooked the way he wanted it to be; it was juicy and the bacon was crispy. We ordered an IPA and the blackberry hold rock cider; they were great drinks as well! overall we had a great experience here! read more

Went in the back for that set it down and waited on other people with the 6 pack of beer sitting right there. Walked away. We have eaten at AJ's years ago and it was very good. This time it took over an hour for an appetizer and cheesesteaks that came out on slider buns? There were only 4-5 other people in the restaurant and they weren't eating. Not sure what happened to the service in this place, but it was the worst experience I've ever had and I eat out a lot. On top of taking forever for the food, and AJ's not having the food properly prepared because they were out of supplies, it cost $80+ for the bill. We will never return. read more

We ordered a pizza at 6:00pm with a pick up time of 8:00pm. When we arrived we were told "the oven broke" and that they needed to make a new pizza and it would take 15 minutes. Our neighbors did the same thing and their pizza was ready. I don't appreciate the dishonesty. After waiting and purchasing a beer, that should have been on the house, the pizza was tasteless with very little sauce. The owner spoke to us and never offered an apology. Super disappointed considering I do go there every now and then. read more

Just had dinner there, what a nice place! Big, very clean, staff all very friendly and attentive. Great craft beer selection. Our server was really good. Split the AJ Burger and the smoked gouda and chorizo appetizer.. OK the fried pork skins that came with the cheese dip were still popping from the fryer! Fun! The burger was huge and thankful we split it. They were having dueling pianos tonight, sorry we had bought movie tickets already! Will definitely return. read more

This bar was jam packed on a Tuesday night. With that said, we were seated right away. Our waitress was outstanding and spoke to us about Clemson with our son. She was friendly and got us our food quickly. The chicken wings and Chicken Philly were really good! I highly recommend the roasted potatoes for a side. We have been here several times but this time , I said I would not be back. Food was horrible the wings were fried so hard that I had to use a fork. The sandwich was bad as well. It took forever to even get our food. They were supposed to have live music. The band did sound checks for over 30 minutes then sung two songs and took a break. Finally tried this place for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint! Parking was a ample, the restaurant itself is clean and large with plenty of seating, a large bar, and an outdoor area with games, and multiple pool tables. We were greeted by staff quickly and food came pretty quickly as well. The prices were very reasonable. We got out under $50 before tip, including some alcohol. The plates and drinks were very reasonably priced! They offer a large selection of craft beers, bourbons, and a variety of tasty food. We were blown away by the friendly service! Our server was Ashley and she was the best. She was friendly, fast, and so nice. We got shrimp and grits, Long Island iced tea, and the brisket Mac n cheese. What a pleasant surprise, I usually go to places that are off the beaten path or holes in the wall or things that are not proven yet just to see how they are. This place was awesome. Good Food and great drink specials for Wednesday. Half off beer prices and two dollar margaritas. I'd say that there was about 140 people in the restaurant enjoying themselves. I had a brisket sliders with a little coleslaw on top of each one of them and I really enjoyed them. Course I had two margaritas also. Gig open space with lots of TVs for sports. Nice long bar on the left and a series of pool tables to the right, with a wide open space with tables in the center. I went with some co-workers. One got the huge burger with pork on top and he polsihed off the whole huge thing. Another got some kind of brisket dish we he also finished. I was told the pizza wasn't that good but I tried the buffalo chicken pizza anyway. It was just OK...nothing special. Same with the margaritas...just OK. We are from California visiting our friends in Pendleton SC. So they took us to their local watering hole. This is the best place we've visited thus far on our month long vacation. If you ever make it here for a visit, ask for Ashley, she's super great and everyone loves the southern hospitality and accent! We had pork rhines and potato skins. Very good!!! I will say food was good, not great but good. And that is where it ended. Service was non existent . And with 26 TV's if you are not watching the home team. They would rather play Andy Griffith , pet shows or the news then let you watch any other game. If you want to watch sports go to Wild Wings TV and staff much nicer. read more

We discovered this spot on a Clemson football game weekend and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! great, friendly service. Lots of beers and cocktails. TVs showing sportS surrounding the place. Appeared to be a very popular place for locals. It filled up quickly with people gathering after work, parties and celebrations and folks wanting to shoot a little pool. Food was tasty and we will return soon. read more
