Finally dropped in on my off-day. As a quick afternoon pick-me-up, I really enjoyed their latte. Freshly brewed as I was chatting with the barista, it was a warm break on this cold November day. With no bitter taste and warm milk, the silky smooth consistency was a great sensation. I'll try to drop by again or at their other locations! As the first location for Realfine coffee, I was surprised that it was a coffee shop. The outside instead looks like a car shop. There's a decent amount of parking for its area and some spaces along the busy street. The barista was nice and chatty. It would be a nice place to grab a quick bite or a coffee with a friend, if it wasn't for COVID. Right now, they have some COVID restrictions in place: masks required, no seating, 3 people inside at a time. I'm glad that they're taking COVID seriously and protecting their customers. I really liked the atmosphere at this coffee house. It's a great spot for studying or getting some work done -- calm, cozy, and comfortable without being too noisy. The service was excellent and everyone was very welcoming. I ordered an Americano, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to coffee taste. It was definitely good, smooth, and fresh, although not my personal favorite, I usually prefer Americanos with a brighter, more citrusy acidity, but this one was smoother and more balanced. If you're looking for a cozy hometown style shop with more traditional coffee roasts this is the spot! I found the interior very charming, offered some nice choices for pastries and retails beans, and had a great chat with the barista about the joys of corporate America. I ordered an espresso which came with a side of sparkling water (shops that give you bubbles deserve more praise) and the spro had really nice texture and pleasant lemon acidity. Just moved nearby and this is one of my favorite morning spots for my go-to decaf oat latte. A 'plain' decaf is a bit too weird/bitter from Herkimer roast they use so usually I get it with the artisanal chocolate syrup (I think Holy Kakow, a cool Portland company, but don't recall). Pacific brand is the oat which isn't one of my top choices but overall balances out nicely and with some usual spice condiments. No real good vegan options but the fridge has some smoothie drinks. A cool & subtly hip lil shop, rad logo branding, super decent decaf oat fix and really pleasant morning ladies to start the day off. read more

The parking situation is unclear due to absolutely no signage and we accidentally parked in the exit. (Warning very long but heartfelt) As a transplant, I moved to West Seattle in the middle of the pandemic. As if COVID wasn't already isolating enough, I hardly knew anybody AND the West Seattle Bridge had just closed down which seemingly amplified the feeling of loneliness. One day I decided to stop by this location for some coffee while out for my dog's morning walk. Out of convenience, one day turned into another visit, and another after that. And before long, I couldn't start my day without making a visit to RealFine Coffee for my daily fix. I always ordered the same beverage - an 8oz Americano with a little bit of cream - and I'd often treat myself to one of their pastries (an orange almond pinwheel, blueberry muffin, spinach and cheese brioche bun, etc.). It didn't take long before they'd start to have my regular order ready before I'd even get to the counter because they'd see me turn the corner with my Siberian Husky, Sully. But it was more than the coffee that kept me coming. It was the sense of community I had developed with the help of all the baristas at this establishment. Rain, snow, or shine - I would come here for my morning coffee. In the past year, I have never once stepped foot inside the shop. I have only ever spoken to the squad through a makeshift order-window/door setup. But that was never an issue. Everyday was a new addition to an ever evolving conversation with the whole team. It didn't matter who was ringing up my order. Each and everyone of them is a friendly and genuinely kind human being. The team at RealFine Coffee are a tremendous reason for why, despite all of the reasons I mentioned at the start, I have fallen in love with West Seattle. They know my name. They know my dog. All around great cafe. The inside is small however the sleek, modern style looks very nice. It is connected to a barbershop with open windows. I ordered an iced caffe mocha and a sister ordered the caffe latte. The ice caffe mocha was strong and very flavorful. I love drinking coffee but I'm not an expert on the different subtle nodes, however all I can say is that it is great. I'm giving Realfine Coffee a 4 because although it was great, it did not blow my socks off. Service was spectacular. Very friendly and the atmosphere was warm. Music was chill. When this place first open I was excited to have a local coffee shop right down the street from me. I didn't visit for the longest time because I was intimidated by whole coffee culture of Seattle and wasn't sure if I would even know how to order the "right" way. I am happy to report that I could not have been more wrong about my anxieties with this place. The staff have been more than welcoming and make an effort to memorize names and orders. RealFine is a wonderful addition to West Seattle! Really great coffee/espresso, and the spicy chai is *actually* spicy, which is surprisingly hard to find! Plus there are a variety of delicious salads (the Mountain Goat! Yum!), sandwiches, and baked goods-- including baked goods from NuFlours that remain wrapped, so they're safe for by one who doesn't eat gluten, whether you're Celiac or just sensitive! Fantastic local coffee shop - they use Herkimer Coffee. Espresso is well pulled, smooth and balanced. Decor is clean, modern, but comfy. They have a selection of incredible pastries from Josh Grunig (of pop-up Pocket Bakery fame, currently "Standard Bakery").
