It looks like they rotate their flavors often, and have a mix of creamy and sorbet-style flavors. The menu is simple - one or two scoops, dish or waffle cone. Like everything else in Sedona, it's not cheap. $8 for one scoop, $10.50 for two at the time of writing. But this does not seem to be out of line compared to other ice cream in the area.

I ended up choosing the rocky road. It was good overall, with a generous amount of marshmallows and chopped almonds, but the texture was a bit too soft for my liking. The small bits of chopped almonds just added to my dissatisfaction of the texture. While the taste was enjoyable, it wasn't something I'd go out of my way to get again especially since I was treated rudely. Unfortunately, what really turned me off was the service. While I was waiting for my waffle cone, my son was trying a few flavors and really liked one with Butterfinger bits. He asked me to get a sample so I can try how good it is. The young woman helping us (with blondish-red hair) clearly noticed we had already ordered and responded with a rude, dismissive look. She handed me the sample and said, "I need to take care of these other customers," in a tone that made us feel like we were an inconvenience. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. Sampling is a normal part of the experience at ice cream shops, and the interaction felt unwelcoming. Because of that experience, I didn't recommend this place to others in my group, and I wouldn't return. I would have been happier with a soft serve cone at the Sedona McDonald's!

Today, I came back with my family, and it was completely different. The staff was not friendly at all. I had a BOGO coupon, and my family has a food allergy, so we asked if they could scoop one flavor from the back and add the mix-ins on top instead of using the board. The girl helping us seemed very unenthusiastic and even rolled her eyes at my mom. To make things worse, I had my QR code ready, and the girl scanned it. Even though she could see the coupon, she said she couldn't apply it because they didn't have internet. Definitely will not be returning to this Cold Stone location anytime soon.

The whole shopping center was packed, and parking took some patience, but with a little circling we were able to find a spot. The view alone makes it worth it, and the ice cream was perfect on a hot Sedona day. A great treat if you're out exploring and want something sweet with a beautiful backdrop.

These quenched our thirst without being too sweet or carbonated, and it was difficult to not drink more than one. Our order came out fairly quickly, in about 15 minutes, and was piping hot and fresh. The Rajun Cajun featured an impressive amount of thin cut avocado slices and bacon, although I really did not taste the Cajun seasoning. My favorites were the crispy sweet potato fries and Reuben sandwich with homemade sauerkraut. After ordering the The Morning After burger (Fried Egg, Bacon, Cheddar, Fresh Jalapenos) + small Seasoned Fries (for 1-2 people), we waited about 15 minutes for the food to be brought to our table. They were kind enough to cut the burger in half and provide an egg for each half, since they knew we were sharing!! Indeed, 1 burger and 1 small fry is enough to feed 2 people. As expected, the burger was juicy, flavorful, and the egg was perfectly fried to still be runny. Outlaw Grille is a small burger joint packed with big flavors. No frills, no nonsense -- just good ass food at reasonable prices. Bonus: asking for a free water cup will score you delicious Sedona spring water!
