Went in for a few highlights and the stylist recommended a balayage. Spent 5 hours there just for the stylist to tell me to "come back next week so she could fix it", before I even saw my hair. Since the hair was so different from the inspiration photo, I came back the next week to hopefully get it fixed. I ended up with hair that looks just like my natural color. Thankful that she decided to fix it for free, but that should be expected. The stylist was nice but I was not impressed with the management. I've attached my before and after photos, along with my inspo photo from Pinterest. Contacted the manager to hopefully get a refund, as I am a college student who saved up for this. After going back and forth, I was finally reimbursed $50, which I do not believe was adequate compensation. Again, the stylist was very sweet. Having visited from out of town, I made the unfortunate decision to try another salon, only to leave with a less-than-desirable outcome (understatement of the century). Meghan, without hesitation, requested photos and expertly paired me with the perfect stylist, Rene. Rene is a master hairstylist, colorist, and color-correction specialist. came in for a scalp treatment and a haircut. the "scalp treatment" made my already kinda dry curly hair even drier, and instead of using a wide tooth comb or brush designed for wet hair she used what felt like a wire tooth brush on my wet, now knotted hair and literally ripped it out all along the left side of my head and the back and felt the pain and Heard the noise of her literally ripping my hair from my scalp. After complaining about the ripping feeling and sound I told her "are u ripping my hair out?" to which she then switched to another wider tooth brush designed more for wet hair and said no my hair can take it. She then basically didn't cut my hair at ALL maybe a few centimeters on the side and I asked for an inch cut all over and more on the sides. I thought that was weird but didn't say anything "stupid me" and then she blow dried it to the left not the right like I always do which I thought was weird. after waking up next Morning I showered and saw my hair was literally a third as full especially on my left side and noticed literally bald spots that were red and painful all along my hair line on the left and the back and realized she didn't cut it because she was trying to hide it and total loss of volume and now i look terrible my hair is worse than ever and my scalp is literally in pain. never come here!! im now paying thousands of dollars on hair pills and biotin shots and prp injections in my scalp to HOPEFULLY get it back to normal. NEVER COME HERE read more
