Super cute bubble tea and small snacks place. This place is spacious and designed well. There are games and it's not overly crowded so it makes it enjoyable to be in. Perfect place to work or take a date to after a stroll.

I definitely recommend having a reservation as they were pretty busy on a Sunday morning. The Cappuccino was well-made, soothing, and gave me a much-needed caffeine kick. We got one sweet & one savory dish because that's the best way to brunch! The Steak & Eggs was surprisingly good! The hanger steak was juicy, tender, and well-seasoned. I had asked for the eggs to be soft scrambled and I felt like they were a touch overcooked but still enjoyable and paired well with the steak. The brunch potatoes could've been way crispier but I did enjoy the peppers & onions mixed it. The French Toast was fantastic. The coconut butter was a nice addition and it was the right sweetness level overall. Good try for brunch!

While we were seated inside almost immediately, we waited almost 20 minutes for a server to come check in with us. Ordered the nutella donuts, eggs any style, french toast and bacon benedict, along with the Jalisco Flower and Bloody Maria. The brunch cocktails were a highlight of our meal. Had things gone better, we would have had another round. The donuts came out shockingly fast. However, they were incredibly dense, and the nutella sauce was extremely watered down and more of a generic chocolate sauce. The french toast and bacon benedict was perplexing. Benedicts traditionally come with hollandaise sauce- none to be found here. There was also an overwhelming amount of coconut on the french toast, which was not disclosed in the entree description. Other french toast descriptions advertise a coconut butter - this was not a butter consistency, but rather a layer of mushy shredded coconut on top. The watered down nutella sauce ended up being a nice sauce for the french toast. It was pretty warm and cramped in the area we were sitting. Our server never came back to refill our water during our meal. For over $100 (including tip) for brunch for 2, there seem to be better places in Hoboken to have a boozy brunch.

It's surprisingly plain and tends to be sweet and carb-heavy. In fact, it is considered the least important meal of the day. While in some countries like the US, breakfast contains savory elements--cheese, cold meats, eggs, or bacon. Located on a busy Washington Street in the heart of Hoboken, my close friend's daughter and I decided on this European-inspired establishment for brunch. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon arrival at La Bouche Cafe as first-timers, we were greeted by the staff and got a table evoking a cozy and inviting vibe with light and airy seating. Outdoor dining is also available, weather permitting. Their menu features French and Mediterranean cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and brunch. We decided on the Avocado Toast with Feta Cheese and French Toast with Fried Chicken. To wash them down, we ordered each a latte. Not sure if we just didn't order the right selections. Sadly, the food wasn't as tasty as we expected. The French Toast wasn't cooked thoroughly, and the Avocado Toast was not touched. The coffee was weak. The price was comparable to the area. The server was friendly and accommodating. Nothing like the true French places we've encountered.

We ordered the huevos rancheros, the breakfast combo (which comes with a side of French toast or pancakes -- I chose the French toast), salmon Benedict, and Belgian waffle with eggs. The highlight of the meal was definitely the huevos rancheros. The salsa and sour cream mixed with the eggs, cheese, and potatoes tasted amazing. So flavorful and comforting. The salmon Benedict was also really fresh and delicious. The breakfast combo was a little more simple, but still super satisfying and perfect if you want a classic breakfast. The view here is also really nice, which makes the whole experience even better. Every time I've come on the weekend, the place has been packed, so expect a wait for a table -- but honestly, it's worth it!

There were five of us (three adults, a toddler, and a baby), and we were able to get a large booth with a nice water view. We started with a French press coffee and tried the Costa Rican blend, which was very enjoyable. They offer a good variety of coffee options. The menu is extensive, with lots of options especially healthy options. I ordered the "Bug Easy Benedict," a unique take on eggs Benedict with cornbread, chorizo, and a Creole-spiced hollandaise ($15.25). They also have plenty of kids' options, along with sandwiches, omelets, juices, and lighter/health-focused dishes. Portions are filling without being excessive, and the prices are very reasonable for the area. Service was quick and attentive, and our food came out promptly despite how busy it was. I would definitely recommend this spot for a weekend brunch or lunch.

There was only one other family dining, and the space stayed empty the entire time. The service was genuinely great. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and a really cute, cozy space. I especially loved the Christmas décor and overall vibe--it felt warm and inviting. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the prices. The house salad was $13 and honestly one of the most basic, smallest, and most boring salads I've ever had--very underwhelming for the cost. We also ordered quesadillas, a cheeseburger with fries, and grilled cheese with tomato soup. My son enjoyed the burger and fries, and the quesadillas were flavorful, generously filled with chicken and veggies, and came with sour cream, pico, and guac. The tomato soup was tasty, while the grilled cheese was just okay. One small but appreciated detail: canned soda. Cold, crisp, and not flat which is always a win. Lunch for 3 came in just under $100, which felt high given what we received. One frustration was being seated in a tight corner right next to the kitchen even though the dining room was completely empty. We were so close I could literally see into the kitchen and count items on the shelves. On top of that, the hostess repeatedly walked by calling out "corner," which became distracting and honestly a bit irritating. Overall, I liked the vibe, but the food-to-price ratio missed the mark for me. It wasn't bad--just alright.

I would come here again for dinner or brunch and have some delicious food and drinks. 10 out of 10 recommendation. I I was enjoying the moment. That I forgot to take pictures.
